Tokyo Disney Resort(Orientalland Co. ltd,) Review

Took my family mid April to Japan for my 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter spring break. The last two days of our week trip we did Disney sea and land and it was wonderful. Lots of walking but duh and for ppl saying long lines means you didn't get the fast pass for certain rides that accepts them therefore your standing in the standby long line.

Awesome for our 5 and 2 year old. As the 2 year old said, "everything" when asked what did he like.

Had a look around, was Ok what we saw, A Halloween parade put on for the occasion.
Saw a show, Stitch encounter, lost something as we don't speak Japanese, and mid 50's is probably not the target audience. Glad we went, probably won't go again.

Amazing and wonderful place to visit in Japan beware there are a lot of people there so fast pass tickets are a must!

Lively and pleasant. Loved the eateries, vibe and the light show by Disney characters.

I would reccomend bringing your own popcorn placer since the popcorn box there is very undurable.

This was a great place to visit once. Definitely take your kids here as it is very tame and children orientated. Beware the lines! Some are quite the wait.

It gets very busy especially in Mid August due o public holidays in Japan. It's a massive resort with great variety. Prepare to he blown away, great fun for the whole family. Wear comfortable footwear and be prepared to stand in long queues for hours. Loads of places to dine at and rest in between rides.

Fantastic for kids! Expect big queues for the rides. Use the fast pass system on the raiders of lost arc and journey to centre of earth rides and explore everything else in the meantime. Staff are super friendly

Decent amount of rides that are for adults. Just the line is a pain sometimes

The place is clean and the service was efficient and quick. Staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Great attractions for all ages whether it be your 3 year old child or your girlfriend or just want to hang out in general.

My daughter loved this place, but rides a quite far apart. If you have a young kid, best bring a pram.

Dream destination for millions people. Everything in one place. Theme park adventure, shopping complex, multiplex cinema, restaurants, supermarket, convenient store, hotels.

What an amazing Park. The Castle is one the biggest (3rd), the park is so well maintained garden wise. One thing the could have done better was the bland coloured concrete connections between the parks. No creativity there Disney. All in all, we loved it. The Honey popcorn is awesome.

The inner child in me had fun in Tokyo Disneysea! One day is not enough if you want to see all attractions and rides.

So much fun! Enjoyed a great day that didn't involve long lines or waits. Couldn't have expected any more for my noney. Was very pleased with the experience we had.

Pure magic a pity about the people sleeping out all night just to get in first just like a sale madness when in Tokyo.

Spectacular Easter special on my second visit to the resort that great Sunny Day! Got special light and pyro performance after the Fireworks at Night. And its on weekday so not that crowded for the rides... but still swarming with people.

Suddenly my kids want to go to Disney,so there s no more online ticket. We got line and brought one day pass tickets. Just half day, my kids got bored and they want to go to Odaiba. Omg three pm we leave from Disney,I couldn t see my favorites fireworks.

Awesome place for kids and even for adults if you enjoy disney characters. Lot of rides. But some rides and shows are closed on weekdays.

The entirety of "the happiest place on earth" of Japan, wherein you can find Disney's hotels and theme parks, Disneyland and Disney sea...

Come here once for the experience. Try your best for fast pass or a weekday unless you like lining up for 2+ hours.

Tower of terror was the best ride there! Other than that you can expect children friendly extreme ride which is not that extreme for adults but kids would be screaming.

It is just a place to spend some time, not as exciting as the parks in the US, it is extremely crowded.

As always one of the most magical places on earth. My third Disney park and I loved it as much as the one in the states if not more due to the polite crowd. Fast passes are a must and you want to get on exclusive rides here. Buy the popcorn buckets they are exclusive to Tokyo Disney.

Had a really fun time. Compared to the parks in America the lines here in Tokyo were extremely fast. I got to go on most attractions and stayed for about 5 and 1/2 hours.

You have to prepare one day for having fun with family here

The holiday periods are so crowded that you'll queue about 2 hours at most for a ride, but avoid those periods and it really is a fantastic park with great rides and entertainment

Tokyo Disney Sea is amazing. Tokyo Disneyland is your typical Magic Kingdom park, but I found both to be overcrowded. Most rides had waits of over an hour most of the day. The single rider line is great, but only available for three attractions between the two parks.

A must visit place in your whole life... Tokyo Disneyland are more organize and clean compare to others Disneyland.

Can't go wrong with Disney. It's quite compact compared to other Disney's, but that was expected. Loved listening to Darth Vader speak Japanese in Star Tours.

Feel live in another parts of world and enjoyable view

You'll have a view of Mt. fuji while you're on a train going there.

Good park for younger entertainment but not so good for coaster mania

Best Disney designed parks. Very crowded. Disney Sea provides rides and attractions available no other Disney based park.

Too many visitor, and the queuing system needs to be addressed. I just can play 1 game

Like it. But queue too long. Get tired fast. Wear your best shoes in here.

The place is great but too crowded. You have to wait at least 2 hours for popular rider.

It's good but would be helpful if there was signage in English as well.

I think Tokyo Disneyland sucks, but more importantly, they don't care.

Disappointed that the castle is currently undergoing renovation, but loved the rest of the park!

It was kinda meh. The fast pass only really lets you get two rides out of it before the day is over. Restaurant wasnt great, food was expensive and tiny portions and just plain.

If course, it's Disney. Kids love it. Tokyo Disney is super clean and people are super friendly. Can be crowded, but it is what it is. Fun rides. Get the curry in Western town area. It's best value for a hungry person.

Went in the middle of the week and still had to wait 60 mins for journey to the center of the earth. Was able to get on all thr other rides in 30-40 minutes.

During our visit the Disney Sea park was far too busy to be fully able to access the attractions and rides.

Tokyo Disney Sea is almost exclusively in Japanese... Listen to the recorded annoucements for English. Staff also give instructions only in Japanese unless you catch them on your own after the main annoucement and get them to explain quickly. Instructions are pretty predictable though... Put your seatbelt on etc etc

Rather strange hearing all the Disney characters on the screen, in live action, anything... All in Japanese only

Tokyo Disneyland is not in tokyo but canbe reached through Tokyo station by taking the keiyo line to maihama station, 20-25 minutes. Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea are wonderful parks but are not owned buy the Disney company this alliws them ti have exclusive shows and merchandise. Disneyland is mainly for kids while Disneysea is also for kids but adults will enjoy this park a bit more. Disney is huge in japan so locals can be seen dressed up the same outfit in Groups a d pairs, very cute. There are 3 official Disney hotels and several partner hotels just outside tbe park.

Went to DisneySea. Was a decent day. During the week isn't as busy as the weekend so it's possible to get on many of the rides. It was also possible to get fast passes with reasonable times too. The staff are friendly and helpful; several times we were able to change fast pass times as we had young children with us. It meant we could use the passes easily.

The concession stands were plenty and often busy.

If you like Disney then you'll enjoy your time here.

Excellent experience and helpful staff able communicate with no effort even though i dont speak any japanese. Would recommend anyone with the oppertunity to go to Tokyo find time to make it out to these parks.

(Tokyo Disney Sea) Fast passes sell out very quickly so pick your battles with your rides. Food is great and doesn't seem too pricy for amusement park prices. The shops here have amazing merchandise!

The only place where childless millennials belong and there's nothing you can do about it.

who doesn't like Disney? I prefer the Disney Sea though... the staffs are helpful, great and many attractions, but try not to come on holiday because it's going to be so full
