Great spot to eat if you are flying in! Service was fast and friendly...the food was great. Recommend the Monte Christo

My family and I stopped here on our way out of Tucson. It's a cozy and small place tucked in with the airstrip. My initial impression was a little rocky when we had to wait for a seat with plenty of seating available. But I had also been on the road a few hours by then... They got us a table and the service was friendly (I like when staff sits down and hangs out a minute to say hi to the kids). The menu had a great selection. Our order took a while to prepare but I don't take issue with that when it's good food! We really enjoyed it. It was the first time I had those purple onion fries too... mmm good... You can tell when a cook likes to cook. Good stuff.

They also make this prickly pear bbq sauce (it's todds recipe) and it's great. You can buy a bottle of it. Good stuff..

In town and had lunch here 3 times and every time was great. Way to go Tod.

Worked at the airport for a week and had lunch here everyday. The food is excellent and fresh. The staff is super friendly. The monte cristo sandwich is amazing as well as the turkey parmesan sandwich. A must stop if you in the area. I hear their breakfast is just as tasty. Cheers!

Location is very interesting as its on Ryan Airfield but makes for great views of the planes and the mountains. The food (especially breakfast) is great and you will not be disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. The place was very clean on the inside. My Recommendation: The Prickly Pear tea and the Pecan Waffle. Both very yummy!

Nice people. Bad food. The turkey burger was dry, tasteless, bland. Told me 10 minutes and took almost 40!

Flew down for breakfast with some friends. The wait staff was amazing and the food even better. Easy airplane parking near the self serve fuel pumps.

I live out here. This is one of my local gems. The food is so good. It keeps me coming back all the time. The owners are awesome people & most of the staff are really great. The owners daughter is also a really exceptional artist. She is one of the waitresses & her work is for sale at the restaurant.

GREAT place to eat. SO glad we did a google search for food in the area and this happened to pop up. Went on a whim. ANY time we are in town we will be going there. I ate the veggie hoagie AMAZING. Husband had the ribs. The BBQ sauce was so good. Our three year old was entertained by the helicopter taking off and watching planes. We're very new to the area and Sherry (Chef Todds wife) gave us amazing ideas and websites to visit and explore. LOVE this place.

First time we've come out here, love the little environment. Food was good and quick to come out. Overall experience was great until very end. Waitress, Shannon brought check out then never returned for over 15 mins we waited. We had asked for refills, she said ok but never returned. There was only 3 customers in there, and one other table the elder gentleman got up looking in the kitchen area with his cup also for a refill. We finally decided to leave, as did the other table. Go to check out, and our server was at the counter area with a customer chatting away. Apparently to busy to return to her other tables, phone rang and she answered and checked us out without saying a word, thanking us for coming in or anything. A little disappointed in the ending of this visit
