I came in to switch out a modem. It took maybe 10 minutes. It was really busy but it was taken care of so easily. The person at the table scanned it and replaced it. Not sure with the bad surveys but I never had any bad encounters with them and I have been a TWC customer for years.

I'm now giving them one star for slow service. They also messed up my last bill with them and I filled a complaint too the bbb. I thought this was generally good service its too bad I'm glad I won't be doing business with them again.
I'm returning my equipment due to the expensive costs and much of the cable is repeats. You have to wait a half hour just to return anything it's kinda lame. I came on sat the wait was an hour and then came even on a week day it's a half hour wait just to return something. Glad to say goodbye. I will not be missing home internet or cable! If I'm still here at 2p I will just leave it.

My bill is still saying I didnt return my equipment. They are charging me a fee. Plus I asked for service for 1 week and they charged me a full month without telling me. I filled a complaint against the bbb for this.

I might have come back to soectrum but due to slow and poor customer service I'll never use them again. My bill is much cheaper on sprint!!

Very bad service.

Very bad service.
15 people outside, freezing in line, and only one person serve them.
Every morning there is a big line out there.
Why they don't bring 5 or 6 technicians to run this line.
One star its toooo much for this service.

Spectrum customer service is horrible. When I first call to set up my service for internet, the customer service told me that I can set up internet + TV service to waive the installation fee and cancel the TV service within 30 days to get back that portion of charge. Of course, such sweet things didn't happen. After I went back and forth to cancel the TV service within 30 days hoping to get the TV service charge back, I was told that I have to cancel ALL SERVICE to be eligible for the money back guarantee. Basically they lied to me first to trick me to set up all service and change on me by saying "I don't know why the first customer service tell you that but you could have chosen not to go with it." Come on! If that's not an option at first, you SHOULD NOT LIE to your customer. Don't trust what their customer service says because it can vary agent by agent. I wish I had recorded everything when I was talking to them.

They keep raising their rates too....they have their customer pay for all the advertising they do... I'm switching cause they've raised my rates for internet only twice in a year...they are ripoffs.

They re advertising is SO FALSE!!! Service is so out dated ! DVR s can only record 2 channels at a time and one of the channel s has to be watched. So say your watching a movie and two things are about to record , boom, channel changes. So 1999. Oh and the DVR do not communicate with the other DVRS in other rooms . What you record on one DVR stays only on that DVR in that room. so no going to bed and finishing a show u we re watching and recorded on the living room DVR. Even the remotes are ghetto. You have to be directly in front of the box signal light and hold the button for a few seconds to hopefully change the channel. Usually takes a few tries From different angels. Good luck scrolling up and down . It s like the remotes drunk. Do not get spectrum Because I relaxing night in front of the TV will turn into just more stress using spectrum. THE WORST

When moving, had to return box myself. They gave me an address for their billing office as "the closest location." This office didn't accept equipment. Ten miles away through heavy traffic to get to the right office. That was after 15 minutes in the phone trying to get a human to talk to. It'll be a cold day in hell before I'd ever use their "service" again.

I've attached a photo of the speeds you can expect on their 200/20 Mbps down/up plan. Ohh the internet is fine early on weekdays or the middle of the night, but if you want to use your internet around 5 or 6 or on holidays, forget about it.

Honestly, whenever I am able to move, I want to make sure I can go somewhere with a different provider. That may sound petty and over the top, but I just want to use my internet when I want to, and I really don't think that's too much to ask.

Switched to spectrum service last October. It's because their salespeople often come to sell their products and tell us to switch to their services without any trouble. If there is any problem, they will help me solve it. As a result, five months later, the former att company has been charging me $29 a month for phone calls. I called Ricardo, the salesman of spectrum, and he always said don't worry. He has asked the manager to help us, but he hasn't solved it in the past two months. Those who used to come to our door often don't come in or tell us what to do! The same company as a liar, said and done are not the same! If you want to switch to spectrum services, be careful!

I despise TW, they are the most crooked company I've ever had to deal with in my entire life. Except for maybe GoDaddy. They jacked up my bill 2 months in a row, they provide garbage products and suck every last penny you have and expect you to be grateful. They were forced to change their name to Spectrum because the name "TimeWarner" became synonymous with terrible service. But it makes no difference, they are still as rotten as they ever were.

Router stopped working randomly and the on phone technician even said he s ever seen something like this happen. Told me to exchange it for a new one.

Came to this store, and the customer service rep didn t question my request. He just scanned the barcode, checked my ID, and I had a new router within seconds. Very quick service!

I came early about half hour after they opened so don t know how it is during afternoon and evening hours.

Multiple bad experiences with this company.

Multiple bad experiences with this company.
Unfortunately I haven t had the option to try a different ISP since every area i ve lived in only hosts Spectrum s internet service. But here s a few observations from my experience:

- Terrible customer service.
- Most annoying survey/review requests
- Shockingly aggressive sales representatives
- Lazy installation technicians

Currently i m on hold to speak to a representative to try and figure out what my 4-digit PIN number is. Apparently you need that to view your statements (who the hell requires a PIN number to view an internet billing statement) and since they quite nearly force you enroll into their paperless billing statement service, there is no easy way to find that PIN number on your billing statement - SINCE THEY DONT SEND IT YOU. The paperless billing statement is an email letting you know you owe x-amount with a link asking you to login to view your statement. Of course once you login and you try to open your statement it asks for your PIN which is on the top of your billing statement, which again, you DONT have.

After being on hold for 20 minutes I finally spoke to someone who said the PIN can also be found in your original confirmation order email. Not once was it ever mentioned that this PIN could be found there nor that I would need this PIN number to view my statements in the future. This is extremely frustrating and a huge waste of time.

The address is wrong it's actually located in the horribly designed mall across from the Beverly center. It's clean and expensively furnished but there was an absurdly long wait simply because it was totally understaffed. There was ONE person handling customer service. The whole point is the customer service. I despise Time Warner.

Yo I'm at a fellow alumni from Daniel Murphy High they scan all of my equipment I got at the thrift stores and activated it and then it ends up they gave me one for $10 because I ordered the phone service to my uncle's number of them yeah Spectrum has some good stuff going on and I think I'll check out their mobile service if everything I ordered works together soon succinctly I really like the concept you fold your internet all online I hate life is the power went out

The worst. Confused store, over staffed, with a bureaucratic company culture. Came to drop off a return part on a prepaid box. Made me wait with 5-6 other people for more than forty minutes while several staff grouped together chatting.

I signed up for the month to month internet. Agent never said anything but a few weeks later I received a letter that said I had to keep paying for one year or would have to pay cancellation fee. They said it wasn't a contract, it's just because I didn't have good credit....

Everytime I go there. The problem or issue is not resolved. They turn it around to make it sound good. Redirecting you making you think that it's ok. My mobile service is still off for a week.

I've just had a experience where there is a Multiple City Outage from Time Warner. This is not t he first time that I've had "Really Bad Experiences" with this organization, over the last eight years.

The sad thing about it is that they are "Next Too Last" on the totem pole of Customer Service, but then they still will Charge You The Same Highest Expensive Price For Your Cable, but then when something goes Wrong, they think that they are doing you a favor when they tell you that they're going to credit your account on the "Next Billing Cycle", but you're having the problem on this billing cycle.

I would really like too know if someone knows when the next Public Utilities Commission (PUC) will be holding their meeting, so that I can go too air my GRIVENCES against this corporation, so that something can be done to deregulate their ridiculous price Gouging toward customers.

It's really sad that when we're paying such High Prices that on a Continuous Bases, having the "Same Shows Every Weekend", there's nothing new and when it is new, it's shown on a channel that you don't even subscribe too.

I've been waiting now for the past Four Hours for the technical team too "Fix The Outage Problem", and there is still "No Resolution" to the outage. If you need CABLE DON'T USE TIME WARNER....

Last year I signed up with spectrum and it was great. The costumer service here is alright. After about a year of having internet with them the price rose by 20 dollars. Their competition is much cheaper. But the front desk lady was very nice and gave me some very good advice

Unhappy customer.
Very disappointed with the lack of knowledge from the IT staff.
They are reading a script and all they could do is apologize which does not fix the problem.
This company needs to be shut down for their lack of customer service.

Very arrogant and bossy staff . They take on the company culture in to a letter. Spending over 40 minutes on customer s while five or six others are waiting to be helped. Horrible attitude when you ask them questions. I'll never do business with this location or spectrum if I can help it. Would rather pay more than deal with these jerks.

This is indeed the worst cable & Internet company ever! Before I moved to my current place, I had AT&T & I rarely had any problems with them, but I couldn't maintain my subscription to AT&T because there wasn't any cable provider available besides Time Warner. When I got Time Warner, it was terrible. The raising prices as well as bad customer & Internet service made my experience absolutely horrifying. Now, I have Direct TV as well as AT&T internet again, I can have good internet service like I used to as well as having great customer service. Time Warner, get your act together.

Spectrum easily beats the DMV for poorest, most annoying service. They are dedicated to a non customer centric experience. It's all about "our system won't let us do this". And to get this horrible experience, you have to drive miles and wait for an hour to be un-served.

Made an appointment on the website, got to walk right in and cut the line. Lisa was very helpful and professional, she even tried to get me a deal. I got everything I needed to go home and set up my WiFi and it worked perfectly.

Returning equipment that malfunctioned, ref to continue as a cable subscriber because their boxes can't go a week without needing to be rebooted, and the live rewind function did not work... Have fun trying to rewatch that unbelievable fabulous play of your favorite team!

I started off as a customer of Adelphia then it became Time Warner and finally it is Spectrum. My bill skyrocketed. I called Spectrum and after haggling they were willing to let me have the same exact service that I had for $139 they would generously let me have it for $188. I called DirecTV and yes I have a contract but I'm paying $90 for the first year and $120 for the second year. When I returned my equipment the woman at Spectrum was rather remarkable. She told me that I had a contract and that my rate would go up and I told her but it will still be cheaper than you and she said but you have a contract. When people say stupid things to you on the phone and you're not looking at them face-to-face I can understand it's their job. But when you're face-to-face with someone and they tell you something like that it's time to walk out and never go back. I have a pet name for spectrum but it has to do with a part of the anatomy. I'll leave it up to your imagination

I placed an online order with Time Warner on Octob...

I placed an online order with Time Warner on October 2nd, 2014. It is now October 28th, 2014. I still do not have internet at home.

I was told that someone would be coming out to my house 3-5 business days from October 2nd to install a cable. That order was cancelled after two days for reasons I was never given. I placed another order via phone on the 4th, and my appointment was eventually bumped to Friday October 17th.

The fellow who finally came wasn't qualified or equipped to install the cable that I had said would need to be installed. He confirmed my statement (there was no prior DSL cable), and left. Before he left, he apparently made a note on our account -- it said that the crew installing the cable would need to get permission from a neighbor/access their yard in order to install the cable. I found out about this later.

The relevant telephone pole is directly behind our yard, in a public alley. The fellow who came didn't open the gate, and assumed that it opened into a neighbor's yard. He didn't say anything about this to me at the time, but he did say that a construction crew would be out in ~2 business days -- "Tuesday or Wednesday". That would have been October 21st or 22nd.

When I called on Thursday the 23rd re. no one having showed up, I was told that the schedulers were waiting for me to confirm that I had the neighbor's permission to install the cable. It was the first I'd heard of it. I informed them of the situation, and was told that they would be sending someone out to confirm this, in ~2 business days. He made it by the 27th, and found the alley. We did not need the neighbor's permission to install a cable, etc.

So, 25 days after I first placed an order, I was finally able to confirm with Time Warner that a) we needed a cable installed, and b) the telephone pole behind our house was not in a neighbor's yard. I knew both of these things before calling them on the 4th.

I had an appointment to have the cable installed on October 27, between 4 and 5 pm. I left work early, and waited at my house. I called in at 4:30 pm to verify the appointment, and again at 5:30 pm. I received a call at 6:45pm: it was getting dark, and could they instead come by between 8am and noon the next day.

I told them that this would not work; I had to be at work at a reasonable time. I asked if they could come between 8 and 9am. They said yes. I called Time Warner at 9:30am today, since no one had arrived. They said that they had no record of an appointment, and that they would place an open order; someone would arrive between 10 am and 7 pm.

It's ~5 pm. No one has yet showed up. I'm writing this because I have nothing better to do at the moment. I don't think anyone's going to show up, but I sure as hell don't want to miss them if they do.

It has taken me a month to NOT get internet service from Time Warner.

I've been led on a winding path of broken promises and missed work orders, because their technicians never show up. If you're "lucky" enough that they actually do come, they're apparently just as likely to set your service back by a week by not asking "does that gate open into your neighbor's yard?"

But, I have no other viable options for internet, so I'm forced to wait here. Still waiting.

I've only had problems with this company. Their internet drops all the time. The speed is inconsistent. The customer service called me 17 times in 6 months asking if I would like to upgrade to their cable television package, after I told them multiple times to please take me off the list since I don't even own a television.

Every time I move I cross my fingers I don't have to use them and hope to God the next place I move to doesn't have them as their only provider.

I've been very careful with their secret bills and making sure to do my research after they screwed me a few years ago. Just got screwed again after cancelling ahead of time and talking to Spectrum's customer service saying they would prorate my final bill. I was leaving the apartment early and didn't want to pay for a full month since I was only going to be there for a couple days in. They said they would prorate the month so I left the cable on for the few days.

Just got billed for the full amount and was told they stopped prorating a few months ago.

The only thing good about them lately is how they let you return your cable box now via UPS.

Mixed situation. Tired of spam mail and phone deals. Went to dispute and pay bill. Got a better monthly deal but real reason was to give new credit card info. IMPOSSIBLE so have to call billing for 25 or more minute wait. Frustrating.

This People treat people how ever they want. They long wait. Make you wait 30 min for every people. The employee are not help full. Managers worse then the employee. Unfortunately this the only spectrum in west Hollywood. Worse place for getting anytime of help.spectrum is good company but this place bad.

We as of (4/2/21) do not have much choices in the Reynier Village area however hopeful that we will in the future. SO WE CAN SWITCH FROM THIS COMPANY. Slow speed, bad customer service (one that don t listen to your request, don t understand your issue unless you repeat your request a few times, and also working outside of the country), and the company policy.

Speed suck! Advertised as up to 1000 mbps/ I don t even have a day with 500mbps in the past 4 months. Sadly my speed is 100-400 mbps. This is the internet alone.

I request to do the name change, they said for my safety, I need to go into the store to do. Right, in the middle of the pandemic and officially over half a million death! Most other company are ok with state DL picture that showed the service address.

Usually good service, in and out pretty fast but this time I guess it was the manager that was organizing the line was very rude. He made a woman go up the stairs to wait to get in which was totally un called for. She was the last in line and was over six feet behind us. She climbed the stairs with arms full of products to return and not even two minutes later had to come back down. The all of a sudden he turned nice, very strange man. Customer service is not one of his strong points.

Hill was such a wonderful help! My experience here was fantastic. November 5th, I was in and out within 15 minutes with internet for my new apartment. There seems to be a lot of anxious people that walk in there so the environment can feel a bit hostile, but ALL the employees were nothing but friendly, happy and helpful. Thanks Spectrum! <3

Like many others, I ended up at Lawrys. Everyone who works around here knows about the Spectrum address mixup, so some kind souls immediately led me into the right direction. It s located on the second floor of **Beverly Connection**. I parked at Target and, it s just behind there! In the same building as Saks Fifth Ave and Nordstrom Rack. I suggested an address change on Google. Google, please fix the location! I m only giving five stars because Kasheef at Spectrum was awesome and friendly, despite my arriving all haggard.

The people that work here are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I decided to cancel my service after receiving no assistance online, on the phone. or in person with billing discrepancies. The final straw was my encounter with the folks at this particular TWC so-called service center. A waste of my time and money.

in one word: "FRAUD". I have been getting charged by Spectrum $44.99 monthly since October 2019! I have NEVER requested service from Spectrum for TV, Cable, internet or mobile service. So, I have no idea how they got my credit card number. In my family, there is another victum of fraudulent charges by this company. So, people beware! check your credit card statements and if you see a monthly charge from Spectrum, take care of it. I see a class action lawsuit coming their way, and deservedly so.
