Wow, I requested to delete my account as I do not use it and my account was part of a data breach. I contacted their customer service, filled out a form, and then I receive this:

Thank you for contacting The New York Times Company regarding your request. We cannot fulfill your request at this time because the laws of your country do not afford you data subject rights. We re sorry for the inconvenience.

So you "cannot" fulfill my request or you're not legally obligated to fulfill my request??? Delete my account instead of leaking my data!!!

Good journalism, bad business model. They spam you no end to sign up for a paid digital subscription but make it so painfully difficult to cancel. You can't cancel your subscription online, you have to CALL THEM. And mind you, they can't be bothered on weekends. And when you are finally allowed to call, they make you wait half an hour. I had two more days on my subscription but they canceled it right away after my call. If you are thinking of a digital subscription, consider yourself warned.

A courtyard planted with several white birches is the highlight, symbolizing a piece of forest extracted from the wild. Some people like it because it is a timeless scenery inside NY times headquarter. The lobby only opens during weekdays but you can still see the courtyard from Muji and a restaurant on the ground floor. Not public, but it is accessible on the catwalk on 3rd floor where you can overlook the yard.
