Came with a group of guys on a weekend retreat. The facility is well maintained and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Lots of things to do and explore. Caring staff and good food too!

I wish I could be a kid again. What an amazing place

My two teenagers have attended Camp Timber-lee for the last 5 years. Coming to this camp every summer is non-negotiable for them. It is one of the few places in their lives where they can be their 100% authentic selves and celebrated for who they are. They can sing God s praises, make meaningful relationships, test the waters of new things and are encouraged to grow. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this camp. Well done and keep it up!

This is the best camp I've ever worked at, you cannot ask for better community for your kids to be included in, and they never fail to have an outstanding speaker.

A wonderful place for kids of all ages. I've been bringing my little sister for years. The counselors here are extremely good kids. Facilities warm and inviting. Even a free air conditioned units with showers included!

Exceptional Christian camp, great facilities, caring staff, lake, swimming with water slide, horse barn with trail rides. Rodeo, nature center, craft center, creation center. Come see the rest, you won't be disappointed!

Lots of fun with all my friends. The ziplines are amazing the food is delicious and the late night hikes are awesome. When I went it was a feild trip but anyone who decides to go with a family or a group of friends would be delighted by the trip. This place made my year and will probably make yours too. Good luck

I loved this place because it had a whole lot of animals and I got to hang out with my true friends, two years ago close to the last day of school this is the place where we have gotten to know each other more and understand each other. and these are the pictures of my closest friends.

In the mid to late 70's, we couldn't wait till next year, horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, camp fire, trampoline, the nature class...the canteen..and the bible study...this location kept us out of trouble, and the streets...great job by the Center...race and lake street...Chicago

My children have been going every year for the past 5 years, and have enjoyed it every time as if it were their first time attending. I am so thankful to my brother who has been a counselor for about 6 years, and a mentor to the children. They come back reciting things they've learned and I am forever greatful that they can experience such an amazing place.

Our kids had the best time last summer, and they are already registered for another fun filled week at camp for this upcoming summer. They still talk about some aspect of their experience still after almost a year. Such a wide variety of activities for the kids, there is something for everyone. Keep up the great work!

They are so nice and welcoming they really put an impact on your heart my dater when last year in 2019 and know she is going agen this year two times

Our weekend at Camp Timberlee was the best. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and a ride on the paddle boat. Our kids enjoyed the waterslides, hanging out at the lake and swimming. They also loved feeding the animals in the farm, horseback riding and a pony ride on Daisy. We all enjoyed playing volleyball and the hayride was great to. We had our first experience ever on the zip line and we had a blast. This staff here is very friendly. This is the best camp we have been to. We will be back next year.

Its a family tradition to stay here every summer. Unfortunatly this year we wont be there. There are only 5 weekends for the families to stay and 2 of those weekends the best sites are already booked with other programs, which I dont understand. They should have different dates for youth retreats, instead of including them in the family weekends. Very dissapointed and very inconvinient this year. Too bad we have to use another location to go camping this year when we feel part of Timberlee already.

it was bad because the showers were nasty i didnt even go in them but overall it was still fun and the activites

I love TimberLee! It was a big part of my family while growing up! I worked several summers there. Our church was Elim Evangelical Free Church in Oak Lawn, Il, Great Lakes District. I met my hubby there in the summer of 1987, when I was 17, and working on the August Girls Summer Service Team, getting ready to enter my Senior year of high school in the Fall. My husband had just turned 18, and had graduated from high school in Kenosha that May. We were married on a July 27, 2000, and have 3 wonderful young adults, and 3 grandchildren. So thankful for TimberLee. Another TimberLee marriage !

Went here for a Jr. High retreat weekend - had a great time! The staff did an awesome job helping us work with the youth. They also did a very good job accommodating my GF diet.

This is my all time favorite camp! It is so fun and has an excellent staff and amazing food. There are very fun and entertaining activities. Although the cabins aren t huge, they have a very cozy and campy feel that you don t really get from any other camp. I met so many ppl there that are now some of my closest friends. I would recommend bringing extra money because there are many activities that require money and I made that mistake my first year, so I would bring 30-50 dollars. It is one of the biggest highlights of my summer and always look forward to it! I would recommend tris to anyone looking for a fun,Christian, and entertaining way to spend part of their summer!

I had an awesome experience with God at camp timber Lee. And I have always had really cool and fun counslers!

It had been almost 20 years since I went here as a kid. They have made improvements and added new features to the camping experience. I was bringing a group of 8th graders to here and so I told them about when I came here and had such a wonderful experience, especially for the night hike. The food is the least desirable but it is at least edible and hot. One of the addons I saw was a zip line going over the camp and into the forest.

i got attacked by a beetle and got poisened by it but it was fun

If you skip the chance to go here...your a fool. The food is awesome and the staff are great. Be it a child or chaperone.. This is a must do thing for everyone. You are always busy and the ONLY bad thing I can say is about the beds...but I have a bad back. I just doubled up on a mattress since we had a few empty beds.
GO TO CAMP KIDS...IT IS AWESOME...I PROMISE!!!
