Three Square Food Bank Reviews

Was able to pack lunches for those needing help. Volunteering was set up through my work. Not sure how to set up as an individual.

They do a great job feeding the Community and can always use extra volunteers to help pack boxes of food to give away to those in need.

This place is amazing. I've been to many food pantries across the country and all others pale in comparison to this place. Impressively efficient and organized. With the help of our volunteer coordinate, my co-workers and myself were able to box 693 meals for seniors in just 2 hours. Everyone is already asking me when we are going back.

This is an amazing cause to volunteer for! This organization helps feed the hungry in Las Vegas. More than 1 in 7 Southern Nevadans struggle with hunger.

Just amazing how many volunteers in our community show such care and concern for those in need What's astounding is the huge number of meals served throughout our community to children, seniors, handicapped and overall people in need of food that is donated, prepared and delivered with true charity and love. I came here to volunteer in December of 2017 and it's really nice to work here with other people volunteering as well. Not as some of the employees aren't nice, while some are nice. Either way, the place seems pretty rough to volunteer.

We went as a department group from work and this place is great. They are organized and ready to utilize all of their volunteers. They offered a tour when we were done completing the lunch boxes, which was informative. Highly recommended volunteering at Three Square often.

As a volunteer, it was a joy to work with Three Square. Directions for work were confusing, due to the warehouse having poor acoustics and a quiet speaker, but my time was fulfilling and meaningful. Thank you!

These people are the best, to me in my time of life, here in Las Vegas. They care about children and families that don't have enough to eat. So that a child will not go hungry at night, and a parent wont have to worried to much, on how their children will have full bellies.

Three Square offers great opportunities for individuals and groups to serve their local community for just a few hours per day.

I was very impressed by what they do. Will definitely volunteer again.

WONDERFUL CHARITY!!! All food that comes in goes out to feed others. Major food supplier to the hungry and the homeless. Huge volunteer force. Only SIX CENTS out of each dollar raised in donations is used towards administration and overhead; the other $ .94 goes right back out to those in need! They also take part in "food rescue". All good food that is NOT spoiled or old but has reached its expiration date is collected from ALL area stores and is prepared by trained chefs into wholesome meals to feed our homeless and underfed citizens and children. This is a very worthy establishment and one I will be volunteering at for a long time! This program needs to be copied and implemented in every city Nationwide! EXCELLENT WORTHY CHARITY!

Out looking for food banks-they purport to be so but do not give out anything at the "open 8 to 5 pecos address! !

What I love about volunteering here is that I got a chance to see how many companies actually come out and participate in what three squares is trying to accomplish. And that is 2 help those who are hungry

I went here to drop my daughter off. She is the National Honor Society and she went to volunteer. She said everyone was nice, she met some new people. She enjoyed it. I'm giving it 4 stars because this place is well known for helping people in need. They allow young kids to help in their community and because they were good to my little girl. So thank you Three Square for allowing my daughter to volunteer her time there.

I love it so much i be there every week two time a week and they all ways help and giving never had a problem

Three square is NOT helpful at all.
All these four and five star reviews are FAKE.
I do NOT recommend three square to friends or family.
I want three square food bank to shut down permanently.

They do so much to help feed hungry children in need. Great staff and great facility.

I don't know why the United States Government is allowing Three Square and all the rest of these so-called Food Bank agencies get away with giving people ROTTEN OUT-DATED FOOD. Why do Three Square think people in need eat rotten foods.
Why don't Three Square employees eat the rotten foods and drink rotten fat free milk themselves, so they can see the harm they are doing to people in need! Employees know full well that they don't even drink Fat Free Milk. Why is Three Square giving Fat Free milk to growing kids!
Three Square delivers the food to the Church's. The Church members and volunteers keep the best foods for themselves! The food the Church steal from the people is served on Sundays to their Church Members!
This is very unfortunate and stealing from the Government and the people who are in need. This needs to stop!
cookies are old and dry. Apples is soft, you can stick your fingers through the apples. Meat is brown. If the Government knew these agencies are giving people rotten foods and keeping the food for themselves, these so-called food pantries would be out of business!
Please Don't believe the 5 Star reviews! STOP GIVING PEOPLE ROTTEN FOOD.
P.S. Parents please watch your children when you go these so-called Church's for food. Some of the volunteers and members are not there for the right reasons.

They're a food distribution to all churches and pantries... they should have better info

Did volunteer work here the people were great. If you have the time go down and help out and serve the community that provides us with so much.

I had been using a gps which had lead me in the opposite direction of my destination in which case I used google maps. I arrived at my destination, a few minutes before I had expected. Probably 20+ minutes before than what I would have with the gps.

To be honest I don't get how this is volunteering when it's just like a job working in a factory volunteering is bringing the food to the people that need it to which you get a real and better understanding of who you are really helping

Three-Square was the ONLY group to help us when all of this started. Now we're doing our best to help them!

Volunteering for the organization, using my data entry skills. They offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. This Food Bank distributes to local Food Pantry locations throughout the county. Orientation of different areas is provided to get an overview of where you might be interested in helping out. Go for it, you won't regret it.

My experience was as a volunteer. I had a fun experience packing apples. The staff were appreciative and worked well with our group of volunteers.

Being able to help out the churches and do this with family is a very special gift. Thank You JESUS!!!!

This is a wonderful place to help people that have less than you do and it sometimes has hard hands on work as well as light work.

I went to one of the locations by my home 1.4 miles away thay told me I had to go to a different location 14 miles away no gas no food. THANKS FOR THE HELP WE GET TO GO HUNGRY

Volunteered here for my work and let me tell ya, I don't like to do anything for free but when my team and I were given the background to what we were doing and who the food we were preparing for was intended for less than fortunate children, that as a parent struck right in the feels lol. God bless those families less fortunate and definitely a moment to reflect and give thanks for what my family and I take mostly for granted... 3 square meals....
