Well presented on every way as a country pub with city appeal. New menu. We totally enjoyed the chick pea salad, the squid, and the pork.

Pleasant building and decor. Enjoyed an enormous burger and lamb with veggies. The coffee (decaf) was great with a chocolate pudding dessert with fresh strawberries and cream. We were served by the owner and he was very pleasant and the service was prompt

Was really looking forward to lunch here today, and ended up terribly disappointed.

We had to ask the waitress to take our orders, it took MORE than an hour for our food to arrive, after asking how much longer we would have to wait. When the food eventually arrived, it didn t all come to the table (of 8) at the same time. AND one order was forgotten completely.

After waiting another 15 minutes, I asked where the food was and the really rude and aggressive waitress didn t apologise, just made an excuse and went to find it. The missing food arrived 15 minutes later AND the order was wrong. She again didn t apologise, just aggressively asked if I wanted it changed. I figured everyone else had finished their meals at this stage and I didn t want to wait another 15 minutes for the change.

Then when I politely mentioned the mix up while paying, i was told We didn t do it on purpose in a petulant voice. No-one suggested that it had been. A lovely birthday that we were all looking forward to was ruined. I will not go back here ever.

To be fair, I must mention that one of the waitresses was the only one who apologised and then organised free coffee for us all the only positive in a very bad experience.

Great food and service. Kids meal was brought out with our entree which kept our son busy.

Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Good mix of locals and travellers. Food was good, not fantastic. I had the Goolwa pippys which were a bit go hum. Schnittys were super tasty.

Great to see this pub up and running again, very well renovated,inside or outside areas,lawned area,great picturesque location, reasonably priced meals open Wednesday thru Sunday for lunch and dinner

Good food but to be charged $5 for mushroom gravy on top of the price of the steak is a bit steep.
Great little country pub all the same.

The inn has been renovated and wth new owners is a great place to visit .

Fantastic pub in a beautiful area, this is my favourite place for lunch. Food is amazing and it has a peaceful and authentic vibe.

I went there with 7 others and was very disappointed in the time taken for the meals to arrive. the meals were ok though and hit the spot, but I would not write home about them.
While I vote the service as Poor the waitress was happy and eager to serve. the prices are a bit on the high side.

I recon I would like to give them another go.

We visited for the 1st under the new management and were not disappointed. Lovely staff and the food was really good. Left feeling well feed and so happy that we stopped in.

Nice hot meal, always check places before you go not Handicap accessible.

Lovely lunch, spaghetti marinara, seafood basket, and a yummy dessert! Highly recommended!

Went for a birthday dinner. The setting was very good..the lighting n the food. The food took aliitle bit longer but we understood as we were a big number. Overall I loved the place n will be back again.

Food is nice but the owner clearly doesn't want to be there. No personality and no customer service. Makes you feel most unwelcome.

We went as a group of 9. The food was hearty, tasty and plentiful. The staff were lovely - accommodated our move from outside to inside, service was prompt and efficient. Delightful spot for a Sunday lunch, or any meal.

Without people like the new Management at the Greenman Inn taking a leap of faith and renovating and restoring our aging SA alehouses, the Hills would be a boring place. They ve done a fabulous job! Very atmospheric setting , delicious food and very friendly and considerate service.

Cold bevvie and a great bite to eat, perfect spot to take a break

Pretty neet little spot. Clean and comfortable settings, great outdoor area. Food was also good.

Some different & tasty quality meal options, including a selection of no meat meals. Sadly no air con!

I note some others have had problems with speed of service. The few times I have been to the Greenman it has been quiet so I had no such problems. I received friendly service and the meals were very good. I will be back again sometime soon.

Thought we would try the Inn after reading article in the Victor Times ...... seems we were not the only ones with this thought. Only one person serving customers & clearly under the pump. We gave up waiting for service. Will try again when they can get their staffing organised

The food was amazing and the service was second to none

It was OK. Menu is a tad limited these days but the Renovations look nice. Will give it another crack soon.

Meals were great. Squid on tasting apetiser a few Friday nights ago was awesome and West Coast beat Port with a kick after the siren. Great times!!!

Today we went for the first time. The pub itself looks charming. The customer server was well below par. The meals were not as we ordered, and two meals arrived 20 mintues after the first meal (We ordered at the same time). We ordered a jug of (flat) diet coke which filled 3 glasses cost $22. When I questioned the staff we were told that, that is the cost as there is ice at the bottom?
I would not return. I would advise you not to either. Terrible experience and atmosphere.

Perfect. Beautiful hills location with a publican and chef that have a passion for what they do.
Great food, cold drinks. A multitude of little touches that are rarely seen. A timber cubby and sand pit for kids, blankets for sitting outside if it is cold, a water bowl for dogs, even sunscreen or insect repellent available if needed.

Fabulous venue for casual meals. Pet friendly for outdoor dining. Good prices and menu selections.

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing 3 course lunch at this gem of a country hotel today.
The atmosphere was cosy, staff friendly and the food was divine. Thankfully we reserved a table as they were busy. We will be back! Well done.

Dissapointed with the customer service, the young lady that served us the best coffee was terrific, however the gentleman, not so much.

Service was good, especially from Megan but the wait for our food was rather long with no offer of compensation.

All nicely renovated they don't have goof mobile coverage so hit and miss if I want to pay by card

$5.00 for a can of coke ?? A schooner 3/4 full , no next time
