Stayed for 4 nights. It is so peaceful and lovely outside, we had a fully stocked kitchen, I wish the rooms were a bit bigger but it was a perfect stay. My favorite part of the whole experience would be the view from the jacuzzi.
Three Rivers is great, I came here as a child and it has only gotten better. The amenities are perfect for that getaway that is very much like camping, but without having to bring any of the gearvor food if you don't want to. The Taylor river has great fishing and rafting and is a nice step away for the beautiful town of Crested Butte.
Best raft trip i have ever been on in 50 years. Dirk S. was perfect guide for us, handled the boat like a pro, cant say enough good things about our trip.

Used Three Rivers for a whitewater rafting trip with eight friends this week, we all absolutely loved it. We were on a van headed to the river within 10 minutes of checking in, the guides were very knowledgeable about rafting and the area otself and obviously put our safety first while still being very fun on the river, and all the equipment was very high quality. Definitely will be using Three Rivers next time I'm looking for a good adventure in Colorado!
Highly recommend. We have stayed here 3 times in the last 7 years. Always renting cabins 17-21 on the river. Great staff, yummy food, and enjoy the water rafting. We will return!
We spent 3 nights and 4 days at Three Rivers and had a fabulous experience. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins along the river and must say the size was great for
three adults. It would be fine for two adults and 2 to 3 kids. The cabin was well stocked and clean. The staff was fantastic and quite helpful, always with a warm greeting and willing to take time to talk with us. I also enjoyed a massage scheduled through the resort. My only request would be for a thermometer to be placed outside on one of the deck poles. Thanks again, we will be back soon:)

Nicest place to stay by Gunnison. Clean, comfortable, affordable, and high end. Every year I stay here when I take my annual trip to the Taylor River.
As others have reported, the staff is enthusiastic and helpful, but for travelers not planning on the rafting there are better options.

The river raft guides were amazing. Special shoutout to Gazelle, Vito, and Ryan for taking great care of my family! Gazelle and Vito went above and beyond to make sure it was a safe and fun experience for my 80+ year old grandparents! I was worried they wouldn t be able to do it, but I felt completely safe with Gazelle and Vito. Ryan was super patient with the family members that struggled to follow directions! I m so thankful I have this memory to share with my grandparents!
We ate at Three Rivers because Almont Resort was closed due to an accident. The food was good. Everything was prepared the way we asked. The service was fine. Nothing was exceptional but nothing was bad either. We may eat there again if we are close by and the Almont Resort is still closed. This was the first time we have eaten there.
Very professional company, staff was friendly and had a great rafting trip.

This is a great place to visit, raft, hike, horse ride, bike ride. The cabin r very clean. The staff very friendly & helpful.
Was for a wedding. Wedding was beautiful. The resort was plain. There was no kitchen available. The field was cleaned up by the wedding party in order to have the wedding as planned since no one would rake and clean it up when we asked. The office personal sent us to the wrong area across the highway when the cabin was actually behind the office. No one available to ask for kitchen and bathroom towels. For the price paid some customer service should be expected. A clean wedding venue was a paid for expectation. Knowledgeable staff who know where things and staff people are would have been nice. Too much stress from a venue. Would not recommend for weddings or other important events.
The front desk attendant worker was very helpful with where to fish and was very nice! Nice store!

My mom, brother and I went on a fly fishing trip with a guide, Jake. It was awesome! He was very patient with us and was a great teacher. He even brought us homemade chocolate chip cookies! We hit there different spots and had great success. I caught a nice trout! I would highly recommend three Rivers for a fly fishing trip - be sure to request Jake as your guide!
Went to have some line put on a couple fishing Poles. The 2 gentlemen working that area could not have been nicer. Didn't even charge me.
Had a great time! Our guide, Jesse, was awesome! Showed up early for check in and had lunch in the restaurant , burger was good and a few selections of craft beers!
Go for the BBQ. (Seasonal). The rest of the staff in the resort are always helpful and friendly.

Such an amazing property. Very pretty views, great location between Gunnison and Crested Butte. We stayed in the large house on the river and it had everything we needed for a getaway weekend.

Great staff but overrated. It was rustic and pretty uncomfortable and then they charged us $20 per dog per night. I'm OK with paying the dog fee for a nice place but come on.... this was a really rustic cabin. Great location between Gunnison and Crested Butte but if you're not cooking you're driving for a restaurant. Again the staff was excellent. We won't be back for $20 a night per dog. We'll just set up a tent or bring the camper.
This is the place to go in Almont! Pat and Dennis with Willowfly Anglers are great guys and will shoot straight with you for where to fish and what to use. Bob in the Smokehouse will have your mouth salivating with all sorts of amazing bbq and if you're lucky, you'll get Taylor as your waitress. (She definitely needs a raise for how hard she works!) Veto and Ruth are amazing on the river. Can't say enough about the staff here. Fantastic resort. Thank you, Mark, for making this place amazing!

Nice small town feel, good Bbq restaurant attached, small convenience store as well for small needed items... Room rates a bit expensive but worth the views

My wife and I have been visiting for years. Staff is always helpful. Cabins are always clean. You are just outside of Gunnison National Forest and 25 minutes from Crested Butte. Great hiking, rafting and fishing.
Wonderful, quick service. Our food was great and the facility was clean and comfortable. bathrooms were clean as well and the gift shop has anything a camper could need.
Went rafting with some family and friends. Great experience, will absolutely go again!
This was our Fourth year staying at Three Rivers Resort. The staff is awesome as always and very helpful. The whitewater rafting was excellent on the Upper Taylor river and our guide (Dirk) was very good and entertaining the whole time. Mark at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the entire surrounding area which helps on those " off the beaten path " getaways. The restaurant below the lodge has very good food and the staff is great. Excellent centralized location to all the Attractions. Look forward to many more stays. The Flinns, Kearney Mo.
Hot tub was filthy and had to be drained and refilled. Should have been checked. BBQ needed to have a full tank. Should have been checked. Maintenance had a lot to be desired.
Have only eaten and used the store, have not stayed or fished at 3 Rivers. That said 3R is always a stop for me as I head out in the mornings. They have great breakfast burritos to go, and a well stocked shop.
The upper Taylor was perfect for our outing. A great blend of not-too-serious, but also some watch-out-or-you'll-end-up-swimming mixed in. Our guide, Chavez, was excellent! We've used this outfitter multiple times over the years, and I highly recommend them. Also, take the plunge when you get the chance!
We have our RV here at Three Rivers for the month of October and it is great. The laundry room is across the parking lot from us which makes it so convenient. The employees at the store are so friendly and helpful. The only thing that is difficult to get use to is the restriction on on WiFi time. One hour on then 30 minutes off...plus it's the only way we have cell service, too. Very quiet location and good walking trail from there.
Took the raft trip with Vito as our guide. He was absolutely fabulous. He has tons of knowledge of the area and very fun!

I enjoyed just the restaraunt which served very good smoked-in-house bbq and had a good blend of in-the-sun and shaded outdoor seating. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and I noticed that some of the regular patrons were on a first name basis with the wait staff. It made for a pleasant dining ambience.
The young bartender was great, Jennifer between 11 and 1 and the 2 cooks with their fake little beards they should be fired and sent back to the Gulf for interrogation.
For rafting it says they include everything including photography services but then they make you pay a ton to get a photo. Super deceptive practice

Stayed there for a week and had a great time. Nice quiet Park with lots to do in the area. My only complaint might be their WiFi. It definitely needs some work. It's fast enough but it cuts you off every hour.
1st time to stay there...enjoyed the view and the cabin was very nice, clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay there again!
We decided to stay here instead of a hotel in Crested Butte after stopping at the bar to have a drink while thinking about where to go fish. We got a cabin on the river and couldn't have been happier with our choice! The staff were all very friendly, and the cabin felt very private in spite of how close it was to the surrounding cabins. I do think the cabins might get a bit warm mid-summer since there is no a/c, but we opened all the windows and slept comfortably. We will definitely return - and next time will know to bring what we need to grill on the provided charcoal grill and have a fire in the firepit outside the cabin.

If you want a world renowned fishing instructor then you want Eric Grand with Willowfly Anglers. Everyone at Willowfly Anglers knows their stuff. They'll help you select exactly what you need for any of the local creeks or rivers, and they offer the best float trips for both novices and experts alike. You are missing out if you don't go through Willowfly Anglers at least once.
Stop by for a restroom... Wasn't very good. The stall only had a curtain.
Rooms are super nice. Theres a TV, hot tub, and they are pet friendly. The hearing was confusing but overall it was a nice stay
