This hotel is incredible. The staff is simply amazing. They we above and beyond every expectation. My 8 year old had a birthday while we were staying there. They made him feel like the king of a castle. He cried when we checked out! The rooms are spacious, clean and the views are breathtaking. The pools are lovely. The food is some of the best I have ever eaten. I would recommend this 1000 times.

Maybe the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Excellent, with lovely views over Porto, especially at night. Just everything we hoped for plus more.

Very exclusive and well maintained 5 * hotel on the hill above the port of Porto and wine manufactories. It pleased and very good, big bright room with huge terrace with view of the opposite old town of Porto.

Best hotel in Porto, with care Caudalie, a gourmet Michelin star restaurant, where the chef has elaborated a whole vegetarian menu in 8 services for my companion and my daughter. Spacious and well decorated room with a large terrace. Neat and attentive service. Beautiful view of the Douro from the room where the infinity pool. Magnificent !

Beautiful hotel. Went here for NYE dinner and celebrations. Everything was top notch and first-class. The view from the balcony was amazing as you could see all of the fireworks across the city.

One of the bet restaurants and hotels in Oporto. Had a party there last week and the food was superb, the wine selection as well, and the view is inexplicable.

I love this place, from the service, the friendliness and definitely a magnificent view over the harbor.

A luxury hotel on the opposite side of the city, overlooking the city of Porto.
Since there are no shops in the neighborhood, it is necessary to use the hotel alone, but if you leave the gate and turn right and get off the river, there are many small shops that are not inconvenient.
The veranda where you can enjoy the view of Porto cityscape all day is the best.

Dinner at the restaurant. Absolute top quality in kitchen and operation. The cooking is light and original. The gastronomic menu with many amuses and courses leaves a satisfied but not full feeling. Associated price tag but given the offered not overly expensive. Beautiful view of the river and city.

I went to the Michelin star restaurant only. The service was very good and the decorations of the food were also good. But it was a bit disappointing that I can not remember some of the 'delicious' foods compared to good ingredients and decorations. The visuals such as bubble sauce and colorful sauces were good, but I was disappointed that I did not have memories of eating something delicious.

The combinations of flavors, the discovery, the "play" in the construction and demystification of traditional flavors was surprise and pleasure. A night well past, a table service where here and there could have been the same as the kitchen and chief. As a suggestion, question the immediate customers about park parking and ticket validation having in hand validated title to give to customers. Questioning about the existence of coats at the end and accompanying the customer to the elevator would have made me give excellent on the remaining items. Thank you for the evening

Td perfect. I will not only give 5 stars for the inelegance and bad mood of the gentleman who takes care of the bar, the coolest place in the hotel that deserved someone well trained and who worked happily and was polite to the guests.

Expensive, pompous, overly ornate. But the service is impeccable in the way you only find in a hotel of this caliber and the views at the bar are absolutely unparalleled! Watch out for the seagulls, though-they're brazen and won't hesitate before snatching your beer snacks!

Gastronomic experience from another world! We went to the Yeatman restaurant inside the hotel. The tasting menu is amazing, we ate more than 14 dishes each better than the previous one. The views of Porto from the terrace of the hotel at sunset are unmissable!

Taylor's wine was the best experience I've had with Port wines, simply outstanding.

If i didn t had a great house at Virgin Hill and need to choose a hotel to stay, i would prefer te Yeatman.

The service is perfect very pleasant with a real effort in French to understand the subtleties of the dish served. Several menus ranging from four courses to 12, obviously in the form of small portions, not to mention surprises as the name of the butler very attentive to the aversions that one could have. A beautiful wine list served by the glass (fifty choices possible) or bottled with the help of a sommelier who knows his job. Of course the addition is saltier than sweet but nothing more.
