Great organization with lots of resources and classes for writers, as well as an independent theater.

Attended a show recently. Enjoyed it very much. Facilities, cast and crew were all great.

The writing classes here are incredible. I've been taking classes since COVID - all online - and have done so in other places like famed Gotham Institute. The Writer's Center classes are far superior imo, because of the interaction they foster between students through the discussion boards, and because the instructors give such detailed and useful feedback. I especially recommend instructor Mathu Subramanian for her detailed suggestions.

A quite gem in Bethesda if you're looking to hone your craft or begin on a new adventure of writing. The staff is lovely if not a bit quiet but I think that adds to the writers feel. The teachers are professional and I learned a lot in the workshop I took.

Good venue for theater. It would be five stars, but I get a little stuffy there sometimes, so I think the HVAC system may need some cleaning. Overall, cozy, intimate venue.

Unbelievable to have a resource like this locally. It's underappreciated & underfunded, and that's a shame. The classes & instruction are top notch. If you care about writing and live in the area, sign up for a class!
