Beautiful location. Good food. Great atmosphere. Sit either by the river or by the fire inside. Gorgeous.

Buzzing vibes here for after work drinks, and steaks were great if you're feeling hungry.

Half cooked half frozen potato wedges, tasteless chicken wings, overpriced and without any atmosphere or character. Would not recommend to anyone.

Perfect place to grab a drink or meet up with friends before a footy match. Good selection of beers. Some food can be ordered from bar. Has a number of large tv's perfect for watching sport. Also has a large fireplace with comfortable couch.

Beer was cold, service was welcoming and the location brilliant.

Was Ok, variety and price of beer was disappointing.

Will be ok for public gathering.. have lot of options to book slots

Work had a great party here. The the splice of life drink was a bit disapointing and most of the people I went with didn't finish it. But the atmosphere upstairs was really good and they have great views up there in the outside area. Though one waiter dropped a try of bubbly. And for those that didn't use their drink card early they stopped accepting them fairly early in the night. Overall though it was fun but a little bit of tweaking here and there could go a long way. But worth checking out if you have never been

Nice location - steaks are very good - the burger is also a stand out. Can get a bit noisy when busy. Wine list is also good.

Fantastic Docklands views mixed with a warm environment, very friendly staff and an incredible menu to boot. The team here were very accommodating to our needs and ensured that we enjoyed a very special night out.

What a fabulous bar and the upstairs function area was certainly the place to be last night to celebrate both Dave and Sophie's engagement.

Overpriced and bland environment. Go there if there's nothing else.

Great spot to have lunch anytime but great to drop in pre or post game at Etihad Stadium and let miss the traffic.

Decent food, although not cheap and a little out of the way

Decent enough bar, really good bar food, reasonable beer selection, no craft beer offerings that I could see though.

I generally don't bother leaving a note. However this place has been particularly unhelpful. We came to Woolshed before AC/DC concert.
We happily spent a bit of money because location, time, event whatever and why not and we did! But we came back from the concert, have been received like cheap thieves although we already spent more than 200 $ . Oh and by the way, the squids were just fine and the ribs were more than overcooked.
They saw me once, good on them because they will never see me again. X

Decent sized bar down in docklands. Good venue for drinks if you are catching up before a concert or footy match at the docklands.

There appeared to be a big corporate event with hundreds of people today so maybe that's why the staff were a bit rude. Prices are a bit expensive compared to others but it's the only venue in the Docklands area to my knowledge.

The food is pretty decent generally. So I would say probably it's hit or miss depending on if there is an event on or not.

Myself and my partner went for lunch after spending the weekend in the Docklands on the 15th June.
We had an Entertainment Card, and ordered drinks and food from the bar menu due to there being very few peolpe in the restaurant section.
Spent over $100 in total and went to redeem the voucher, but was told it was only for the restaurant, which it didn't say on the voucher. Why is that when the food and drinks are prepared by the same staff ?

Attended through work function, nice open space closed to general public was good.

Had a great night at the Woolshed, thank you! The food exceeded our expectations, great drink/beer selection, the staff/manger were very knowledgeable/friendly and the new refurbishment looks amazing. Priceless location and can't wait to come back! Any excuse will do ;)

I went for lunch with a couple of colleagues. The drinks were brought out very quickly. I ordered the steak special. It was cooked exactly as I requested it, which has been rare lately - both literally and figuratively! Not really into fries with lunch, I'd usually rather some hand cut or beer battered chips, but these were fresh and ok. I then had a chocolate brownie for dessert, which was very tasty. They catered well for my lactose intolerance by serving the butterscotch sauce and mousse on the side, could use some more options that are dairy free, as I'd asked about coconut or dairy free ice-cream and there wasn't any.

Move from the fireside and live band to observe the firework display each Friday night. A stone s throw from Etihad Stadium, and within the free tram zone, this is where your weekend starts and ends. Try alcoholic ginger beer. Delightful!

Had business lunch for 14 people. Ordered the scotch fillet. Very disappointing, char flavour totally destroyed flavour of meal. I had peppercorn sauce but could not taste as charred flavour was stronger. Meat quality overall was not bad but poorly cooked. Desert was far better. Do yourself a favour and go to squires if in the area - their skill puts this joint to complete shame. We're pooped, maybe they should just stick to beer.

Wanted to book an event but was met with animosity. Would not recommend to anyone

Food was ok . had to send mine back as it was cold .tasted very nice in the end. my partner had a wine included in his meal. I have had bigger quantity at celler doors for free.

This place has a very modern vibe. The first thing you come across after walking in the front door is a very contemporary bar with a stylish finish. You can choose to sit inside on a nice comfortable lounge or walk outside, find a table and take in the water views. Just perfect on those summer days. At the northern end you find a fantastic restaurant with you guessed it a modern menu with something for everyone. I can recommend the wagu steak which came with salad and fries. All in all you cannot go wrong with a visit here.

On Saturday 28th I was over come with a result of not taking my diabetic tablet, and I wish to thank all the staff at the Woolshed for there attention, the Manager in the blue suit, the lad believed to be his right hand man & members of the staff in attendance. Thank you for getting a Taxi for my wife & myself, the people we where with was very impressed and so was I, thank you very much, regards Mick & Barb.

The food is quite good, the place is really nicely presented, but the customer service was the highlight, they really look after you, make you feel welcome.

Places like this annoy me, they have the location and the ambience..it should be faultless..but it isnt!.

Management needs to understand basics, staff put under too much pressure give off bad impression even though they are fine... Its not good enough.

Prime location requires prime attendance to basics.

It's just meh.
Tap beer selection was meh.
Service was meh, if that.

Friday lunch, and they decided two bar staff was enough, so I waited 10 minutes for service at the bar
Surrounds are ok, and the fitout is nice.

Tunes they played were like a best of 6 years ago, which is about par for the course for a pub I suppose.

We originally went there for lunch, but the menu left a lot to be desired, so we walked around the dock to Cargo and enjoyed ourselves much more.

We had a really nice dinner here at Woolshed. Service was excellent! Food was just as good as it can be! Don't even mention about the dessert, the BROWNIE, OMG, is just amazing!!!!! Highly recommended!!!! I would give more than 5 stars as the restaurant deserves it! Thank you for the wonderful night at Woolshed!

Nice place for evening drinks. Big and modern. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Outside areas were good.
Great views of the docks.
Good for early evening and prep dinner drinks before a night out in the Docklands.
Very close to southern Cross and trams.

It's a nice enough venue - nice setting down in docklands and the interiors are nice. The prices are shocking though - be prepared to burn a hole is your wallet for just a couple of beers. Sure it's a nice view, but not worth the price.

DON'T SELL A SCOOPON DEAL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SERVE CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT IT!!!
Turned up at woolshed on a weeknight to use a scoopon voucher I'd bought, the food and service were not even worth the paper I printed the voucher on...
- The stake was burnt on the outside and raw inside...thank god for the 4 prawns we got with it....
- The waiter was grumpy and snooty...(Mate, I didnt force you to take this job or to serve me)
- we sat with our empty plates for 10-15 mins (well...half empty plates, waiting for some attention) and then finally got up, paid for our extra drinks at the bar and left...

I will never go back and recommend against it to everyone I know....

Went for a Xmas function. Nice setup and staff were friendly.

I had the bbq beef brisket along with the baked ricotta entree. Service was slow took about 45 minutes to an hour for food to arrive. Some servers were happy while our seemed to be displeased with the role. We never got asked for drink top ups when our glasses were empty, it wasn't very busy at the time. We asked a simple question from one server who replied with a wise crack smart arse response. I enjoyed the food but probably won't be returning.

Very spacious bar with tons of seating, a cool outdoor patio and had a live acoustic set playing when we attended. Liked the decor and the bar layout as well as drink pricing was quite reasonable. Didn't get a chance to try any of the food here but the menu seemed diverse enough.

Service staff at this place is RUDE! Attention to the owner: retrain your service staff, their attitude sucks! Never coming back again.

Great ambience. You can reserve your table online. Fantastic table service. Not expensive. Amazing location. Easy to find. Located in the best place for first dates. Ladies love this place.

I was overcharged for the wine, charged for dips which we didn't receive and the service was very poor, seemed all they wanted was us out of the restaurant.

When I contacted the woolshed about the overcharge and supplied a copy of the receipt I was advised I would be contacted and despite many calls never received a reply.

Fair to say I won't be back, not only was the service bad but also the food.

Live music and a more sophisticated vibe. Drinks were a bit pricey but that's what you expect in a busy hip place. Security was good. And the demographic was a broad spectrum of younglings and suitable for an older crowd. A good place for some sneaky cocktails on a Sunday afternoon

The food was tasty but the service was the worst I have ever experienced in 4 years of living in Melbourne. There are so many amazing restaurants in this city with fantastic people working in them, I wont waste my time coming back here.

Been a couple of times for drinks and it was okay.

Went to watch an interstate AFL game on their big screen but they wouldn't show it because someone else wanted to watch the match that was being played at the MCG which was showing on free to air.

I was amazed at the quality of restaurant. It's really wonderful.

To be honest was a little dissapointed, seems they concentrate more on being a bar these day's, steaks were average, lamb was tough and the lack lusture waiters and host not even bothering to ask why the meal was not eaten...

Attended the Black & Gold theme for New Year's, excellent value for money, great location, great atmosphere and food was delicious.

Love the well hung Wednesday's. Steak is beautiful.
