Beautiful decor, superb food, relaxing atmosphere. Service by the managerial/ senior waiting staff is fluid, clear attention to detail, and to a high-standard as you would expect. Service by the normal waiting staff unfortunately isn't the same but it's still a very pleasing dining experience.

Delicious meal! Great choices, from hamurger to lobster, something for everyone. The room is elegant and lovely, but the atmosphere is smart-casual. The staff are very professional and helpful. Excellent service.

Prices for lunch were better than I has thought for such a posh place. I highly recommend the avocado salad. Their burger is quite good as well as their fries (chips). The place had a nice vibe and I saw people dressed quite casual.

A real treat to have Sunday brunch in this beautiful and busy place. The restaurant is stunning and energetic and the menu French driven. It is pricey, but worth the splurge for the experience.

This dining institution is constantly packed morning to night. Reservations a must, they do keep a small section in the front for walk-ins but be prepared to wait. The queues speak volumes of the quality of food and in such glorious surrounding. The service is friendly and efficient considering the scale of the restaurant. Always on our list when we are in London. Also, they make a great Bloody Mary.

Since no comments from Asian, let me give a brief one. Food, typical English; Taste, also world famous English style; Price, as high as property prices in London. Still recommend for one-time life experience, but only one time:) Remember to reserve at first. 60 pounds for two, if you come early you may need a taxi, more bills coming.

The quintessential cocktail bar. Great vibe and classic selections. Small bar off to the right of the entrance caters to those just popping in. The cheese puff is a bar food you wont soon forget not will you find it anyplace else.

After a ton of research, I settled on the Wolsely for a solo afternoon tea service. Reservations were very easy via their online system, and I was seated immediately upon my arrival. The scones were tender and warm, and the sandwiches were soft and moist. I enjoyed the dessert pastries as well, and there was enough food for one for a meal (as it should be). I was not offered any refills, and when I asked for more tea (same variety), I was charged for another pot, which I had not anticipated based off of other reviews. I will agree that there is quite a bit of noise and the tables are quite closely packed, and the vast majority were travelers like myself, but I still somehow felt slightly underdressed in dark jeans and a button up shirt. I was comfortable as a solo visitor and utilized WiFi to do some work on my tablet. Visited in February. I would recommend this place for afternoon tea for the price point, but, with the abundance of other locations offering afternoon tea, would not return again.

So beautiful place * I ordered the salmon so delicious ~ The fish skin is crispy ~
My aunt is eating an English breakfast. They say that the portion is delicious and full.
I ca n t finish the salad. The package clerk said that they only have aluminum foil to wrap them. They do n t have a box or anything. 20 pounds of salmon is worth ordering ~

Reasonably priced Mayfair restaurant in a setting of grandeur (I think it was a former bank!). The menu is good and quality of food what you would expect in a well-known but not pretentious restaurant.

About The Wolseley

The Wolseley is a café-restaurant located in the heart of Mayfair, on London’s iconic Piccadilly. It is one of the most popular dining destinations in the city, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and weekend brunch. The restaurant has a rich history and has been an integral part of London’s social scene for over 100 years.

The Wolseley was originally built as a car showroom for Wolseley Motors in 1921. In 2003 it was transformed into a café-restaurant by restaurateurs Chris Corbin and Jeremy King. The duo had previously owned some of London’s most successful restaurants including The Ivy and Le Caprice.

The restaurant's interior is grand and opulent with high ceilings, marble pillars, chandeliers and art deco features. It exudes an old-world charm that transports diners back to the glamourous era of the 1920s.

One of the highlights at The Wolseley is their breakfast menu which includes classic dishes such as Eggs Benedict, Kedgeree and Full English Breakfast. They also offer lighter options such as fruit salad or granola for those who prefer something healthier.

For lunch or dinner guests can choose from a range of European-inspired dishes including steak tartare, Wiener Schnitzel or grilled sea bass with fennel puree. Vegetarians are also well catered for with options such as roasted butternut squash risotto or wild mushroom tagliatelle.

Afternoon tea at The Wolseley is an experience not to be missed. Served on tiered cake stands it includes finger sandwiches filled with smoked salmon or cucumber & cream cheese; freshly baked scones served with clotted cream & jam; and an array of delicate pastries & cakes.

Weekend brunch at The Wolseley is another popular option where guests can indulge in dishes such as blueberry pancakes with maple syrup; avocado toast with poached eggs; or smoked salmon bagels served with cream cheese & capers.

In addition to its food offerings, The Wolseley also boasts an impressive wine list featuring wines from around the world including France, Italy and Australia. They also have a selection of cocktails which are perfect for pre-dinner drinks or after-work gatherings.

Overall, dining at The Wolseley is more than just eating out - it's an experience that combines great food with impeccable service in stunning surroundings steeped in history. Whether you're looking for breakfast before work; lunch during your shopping trip on Oxford Street; afternoon tea after visiting Buckingham Palace; dinner before heading to the theatre; or weekend brunch catching up with friends - there's something for everyone at this iconic London institution!
