It was freezing the other weekend so we went for a drive and found ourselves at The Whip. I was nervous since this was going to be out first indoor dining experience and the staff made us feel incredibly safe. Staff had masks and gloves the whole time, tables were well more than 6 ft apart, and there were limited tables inside to ensuring proper distancing and capacity.
And as always the food was great! The Crispy brussel sprouts were to die for, the English onion soup had amazing flavor (kind of like your classic French onion soup), and the Beef on Weck sandwich was piled high with meat (when is that ever the case?!). The staff was really attentive and did a fantastic job.

On Sunday my husband and I enjoyed brunch at the Whip Tavern. The dining investment was great: a table by a meandering brook with food that was deliciously prepared and served with a sincere interest in seeing to it that we were well pleased.

We highly recommend and commend the staff. They are great!

Magical little pub with some amazing shepherd's pie. Gluten friendly and a beautiful drive to get to the spot. Parking is the only downside, as it is very limited and getting in and out can be tough sometimes.

A refreshing Covid Era experience. The service, and more importantly the attitude of the employees was nice to experience. I can only imagine the added stress that the current rules and regulations cause, but to do it with a smile and positive attitude behind the mask is welcomed. I worked in restaurants for many years and this was great to see and feel. Not to mention the food, the Onion Soup was incredible and the Burger with an added fried egg was probably the best burger I ve ever had. Keep up the great work Whip crew, and THANK YOU!! Cheers

It was my wife's Birthday and we had her dinner there. The appetizers were awesome, but the dinner was so good. I had a seafood pie in potatoes and my wife had incredible crab cakes! The toffee pudding is a must.

Very fun out of the way old pub atmosphere. Service was top notch. They slipped a bit on the food. Mostly for not being hot when delivered. Soups were good but Luke warm. Same with Mac and cheese. Fried chicken was very favorable if a bit over fried. Dessert was fabulous. We will be back

Food was good. They have a a 65 minute time for you at your table then you are to leave. We knew that going in, but noticed that there were many people there before we got there and still there when we left. Still had unopened beer from our bucket and we were still given the check and asked to pay to leave. I understand things are different due to COVID-19, but we literally didn't get to finish everything we paid for. Our last beer was to go, unfortunately.
