A++ large, spacious lobby lounge. Attentive staff and clean, comfortable seating. Spaces between tables are generous. Convenient for private conversations. The food is excellent. Coffee is classic European style.

Wonderful hotel! The service was fabulous, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were well appointed and clean and the view of the city from our room was amazing.
Not great value for a mid-range 5 star hotel. Unable to provide breakfast service that was included in my package due to capacity constraints at restaurant (understandable) but the customer centric action would have been to limit breakfast packages or offer an alternative. I did receive a refund for the value of breakfast. Shower water pressure was extremely low - I love rain showers but this one was more of a drizzle. Everything else met standards
Westin is superbly located in the heart of the city and such an easy walk or tram ride to all Melbourne highlights. The hotel is well maintained, the staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. Their signature cocktails are bang on. We loved the gym, spa, steam, sauna and lap pool after a long walking/shopping day and perfect way to freshen up before heading out for dinner in Hardware Lane. Melbourne is coming back to life and the Westin is a top place to spend the weekend exploring.

We had a High Seas session on their lounge before and we really satisfied with their professional and friendly service. I must say that it s more than our expectations:) Love their staff as you communicate with them like a friend, not a staff! It s definitely a WOW for them. We re looking forward to staying with them in future.
There's no place like the Westin. It's the staff that make it especially Ian at the concierge and Steven the night manager. We even got a 4pm late check out no extra charge.The waitresses even looked after our 1.5 year old so we could eat breakfast for 10 minutes. Rooms are beautiful, the hotel is stunning. Love it will come back over and over.
I've stayed at 100's of hotels but the staff here definitely make you feel welcome and special.
We didn't stay at Hotel. So can not comment for that. (Hence not giving the last star) We came for the High Teas, and would recommend it for anyone who may enjoy this kind of services. The High Tea is highly recommended, not only for adults, but for kids too. The food was generous, filling, and delicious. The scones were mmmmm yummy!!! The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. We could not fault a thing. Even our child enjoyed it thoroughly, wants to come back! Most likely will next school break.
Can t fault this hotel at all. We were given a free room upgrade and many complimentary drinks. The location was a little hard to find when parking since it was in the middle of the city, but it also made it super convenient as it was close to all the shops and restaurants. Staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel like a million dollars with their great customer service. Special shout out to Ian who made us feel right at home and helped us out with all our needs at the hotel. Can t wait to be back here again!!
