The Westin Los Angeles Airport Review

Hotel was okay, it got pricey with the valet everyday. My fridge didn't work, didn't get a replacement.

The waiters' attention is excellent, breakfast is good

There are a lot of hotels that say they are pet friendly. Well the Westin LAX airport really is. Nothing is a bother to them when it comes to people and pets. I got to meet 2 of their Concierges Nolan and Roman and my experience with them only strengthens my opinion that a good Concierge at a hotel is worth their weight in gold as they have been soo helpful to me. If you come to this hotel with pets all I ask is you make sure your pets are well behaved so as to ensure that future guest also get to enjoy this hotel with their beloved pets.

First-class hotel! I am very happy and grateful that I was able to find this place on time when I badly needed a place to stay. The front disk guy never fails me on my high expectations. All of my questions were addressed on time, and He provided me genuine assistance. The best of the best service I've experienced my whole life.

Went there for a business meeting. The hotel is great. But parking is very expensive compared to other airport hotels.

I visited City ?? Restaurant, which had lunch of tasty Ceasar/chicken salad + clam chowder, but it was too expensive.

Good hotel, it's next to airport strip so you can see plains starting but despite this it's ok

Very noisy rooms, windows without sound insulation, do not include Internet in the room, charge $ 40 for parking. I would not recommend it.

We did the Park Sleep and fly package. Our hotel stay was good. The shuttle pick up from the airport was horrible! We waited over 1 hour for the shuttle to pick us up. I called 7 times and they said the shuttle was just a few stops away. It never showed. Finally on my last call they said the shuttle was full and would be sending another one. I would recommend the Hilton or Marriott. They had shuttles passing by us every 10 minutes. I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend the Westin park and fly service to anyone. We were very disappointed

Every is pretty expensive . Wifi is a lot and parking is super expensive. It's clean,but almost everything has a price tag.

Disappointing. I've stayed in Best Western hotels that were much nicer. Room wasn't very clean and is outdated. Overpriced parking fees they don't tell you about ahead of time. Never Westin again

Took advantage of the parking program for travelers leaving via LAX. It worked out very well by using Groupon. The process is really smooth. We would do it again if necessary.

Room was not very clean or comfortable. Standard slow WIFI is literally $15 per day and parking is $40 per night even if you re staying here. I literally could not recommend less.

Nice lobby. Overall, a little dated and only one dining option. Nothing nearby. Car rental on property, though long lines to pick up your car. Newer bedding, and it is confirtable.

I booked a hotel room and had a great time in it. Very nice facilities, front desk checked us in several hours early, and had a great view from the ninth floor. Comfortable bed, bathrobes, shower was awesome, couch for sitting, nice office chair.

However, the restaurant prices were... Not wallet friendly. I got a $25 gift card to the place because of how i booked the room, and I still ended up paying about $40 for pretty-good-but-not-worth-$65 food. Maybe it's the ambiance, I don't know, but the food itself wasn't worth that much.

Great hotel, helpful staff and nice rooms but 35 dollars a day for self park (42 for valet) was a gotcha and IMO a low class gouge. I am not cheap or wouldn't have paid a premium to stay here but I really don't like surprises.

Terrible service, slow room service, parking is a mess, not good

Caveat that I did not stay here, I went to a conference, and we were not allowed to park at the hotel... This made parking difficult and the waiting very long. I would not plan another meeting here

The parking structure is full of homeless and super dirty. Our car was covered with dusk parking there for just 2 nights. Otherwise great place.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. They care more about offending their rude guests than taking care of the guests who are considerate and want to get a good night sleep. They put me in a crappy room that had paper thin walls. The lady next door had the TV blaring, a barking dog and would'nt spot talking to her homey in a very loud voice. I called the front desk at 2:00 am and asked that someone call her. They called and then knocked on her door. Not sure what they said but she just kept right on talking. I finally asked to move rooms at 2:30 am. When I asked about the yapping dog, they told me they're a pet friendly hotel.
Apparently, they are more friendly and respectful to pets and their rude guests than they are to their regular considerate guests.
I will not stay here again.

Close to airport and car rental place (Thrifty next door and Alamo just 3 mins by Uber) Downside of having a car, the parking rate is steep ($44 per night) Comfortable bed, good shower and for a hotel, that is important.

Parking is 40 bucks a day.. Thats way too much for hotel customers..and they charge 13 bucks a day for internet.. The rooms are good and what you d expect.. But they charge you for almost everything else..

Good location for being near the airport. 4 stars due to expensive parking and not an organised check in experience. Staff was also not very informative or friendly during check-in. Didn't feel very welcome like I usually do in other hotels...

Very nice hotel. The rooms are big, the bed comfortable and the breakfast of very good quality. One point of improvement lies in the soundproofing of the rooms located near the lifts. The beep sound of the arrival of the elevator upstairs is too noticeable.

The building looked old. It is clean as a hotel should be. We stayed in a room with two beds. Beds were nice and fluffy. No bed begs or anything ridiculous like that. Large tvs in room with slow internet (for tv) and no wifi for guests. Nothing special here at all to warrant the price per night,except location (near LAX), so if there is a cheaper hotel available, stay there. The room looks exactly like a room would at Motel 6 except maybe fluffier comforters. The employees were nice and helpful. I didn't check out pool or gym. I expected more for some reason.

Free Valet parking was very nice, no tip policy was nice, nice room with terrific view of downtown LA, good Happy hour at bar at top of building (with great views).

Large, comfortable hotel, though because of convention events sometimes noisy (lobby and bar in particular), with nice, comfortable and clean rooms, the hotel is convenient for travelers transiting through LAX and offers a nice stay & park package (or park & stay). It also hosts a nice in house lunch and dinner restaurant.

I'm so impressed with this hotel! The staff is one of the biggest assets they have. The rooms are large and nicely designed, roomy desk and clean and large bathroom with large counter space. The dining room is excellent, with a variety of different themes for dinner. Overall, it's a nice experience staying at this hotel.

Location is good for me since I have clients from Santa Monica down to South Bay; great service; comfortable rooms...

Late at night, there is often no shuttle bus coming from the airport. You should check with the hotel.

Rooms were clean and fairly large. We had to have a fridge in the room and they took care of doing that. We needed a crib and they brought it to us. The only thing is they had two large parties going on so we had to change rooms. They changed out room as soon as we said we wanted to without fuss. They even moved out fridge and crib. Amenities weren't there best but the staff definitely made this stay nice.

My interaction with the staff at the hotel was limited, but good. I did not stay at the hotelhotel, but was only there for an event.

Rooms were up to the standard I expect at the Westin. We were told we would have free WiFi for our stay yet there never was an option other than pay access as we tried to log on.

Nice hotel but rooms facing the airport can be noisy. Be sure to ask for a room facing away.

I was scouting the location for a event that we might have at the hotel and was extremely happy with how much they try to accommodate to your needs. While there I was given the tour by Shannon who is a very nice and extremely professional.

Always great staying at this hotel. Highly recommended!

Clean and nice. Free complimentary water cooler seems to be available sporadically. No free breakfast, prices are high.

Nice enough hotel, but the front desk staff needs a serious retraining. No sorry for the wait, no welcome to the hotel, no pointing me to the elevators (which were hard to find in the massive lobby, I found other lost guests looking for the elevators as well), no offer to lookup my spg number after i told her i didn't know what it was... Overall, just "blah" for such a beautiful hotel.

Did not stay at the hotel, had lunch at the restaurant, food was good and the portions were good as well, service was great.

Ok airport hotel. Shuttle is a bit infrequent at night. Main complaint is the barking in the morning from dogs in the area.

Nothing like waving down the shuttle after a 30 minute wait and drivers makes eye contact and still doesn't stop. No, you weren't full. NEVER AGAIN.

hello i realize you have many, thousands of people coming to stay in your hotels. In the only time I have been here,front desk great, as far as the room , its very well keep. it would have been nice to just been able to get ice for the food I brought. Since a fridge was not available. it is not , at this time that could afford the price of your food. Ice machine does not deliver.Asked about it guess someone elses problem.

The most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel, hands down! Room was fine. Nice toiletries!

I was there to pick up and drop off a car rental. Nice lobby, friendly staff... not the best-looking building, nor the most convenient access, but certainly good enough.

Great location. I usually rent from Dollar/Thrifty right next door and eat at Panang Thai a block away. Try using Priceline or Hotel Tonight to book. I always get great rates there.

Horrible Wifi, it does not work. Parking very expensive. Isolated area with few leisure options.

The check-in line moved very quickly and the transaction was also pretty quick as well. The room want that big and the view wasn't great but the room was still nice and clean and roomy enough. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Fair service. Expensive peaking $40 per day which you might don t realize. Not close by to anything but the airport. Recommend you to drive 10 more minutes and you get way better hotel at a cheaper price.

This particular Westin was absolutely the worst I have ever seen in my life. It started out with their shuttle never picking up at the airport and then when it finally came just drove right by. I tried calling to find out where the shuttle bus was but nobody answered I let it ring forever and called again and again what kind of business is run that way. Then when I got to the hotel they assigned me a room. When I went in, it was gross it looked like you were staying in some buddies basement room. And it smelt like a moist damp basement really stunk like it was waterlogged disgusting. Then they moved us to another room. When I checked in they needed a credit card on file for incidentals and they did a pre authorization hold. Halfway through my stay they told me I needed to do another card because I didn't do the hold although I know it did because they're little machine showed it did and my credit card show that had a a hold on it but they insisted they wanted another card and they put another hold on that one too. I showed them and they go oh well our mistake. I ordered room service but it got held up because they wanted me to change the card because of their mess up. Then they deliver the food later on after it's been sitting for a long time because of the card problem now I have old food. They said it should be fine but I told him it's cold. Never heard back. I asked to talk to a manager. No manager ever came. I would steer clear of this place at any cost the place is a wreck. You pay for a nice place you expect something nice Motel 6 would have been a step up from this. And this review is only telling a few things. I don't want to elaborate on all of it because it would disgust you. The pictures I took that are attached came from there good room the first room with a thousand times worse and I didn't even attach the really disgusting pictures. I'm trying to be nice.
