The Westin Los Angeles Airport Review

It is a beautiful place Everyone that works there very helpful. But on the other hand valet parking is a little expensive!. It is a very beautiful place.. We go for banquet s. If you blow the picture up you will see, Dr. Rev Jesse Jackson and the mayor of Los Angeles at the event. My Uncle Melvin retired and his frist lady of the church his lovely wife by his side. Beautiful event.

The room, the service, friendliness... All top notch

Convenient for travel parking for LAX flights. Nice not to have to fight LAX traffic before or after a flight. Don't expect help with luggage. I guess amenities such as this are a thing of the past.

Nice place, average breakfast easy access to airport

It was an excellent and comfortable hotel, but I took a star off for the cost of parking there.

We stayed there for a night after arriving from New York. It was the nearest hotel from LAX which has a car rental service. The hotel room was perfect for my 3 kids and I. They have complete bathroom amenities, clean bathroom and bedroom, made up beds, tv and own room temperature control. No room service though. At the lobby you would find the hotel restaurant, a Starbucks coffee shop and a convenient store. Friendly staff and employees, convenient and cozy hotel but a bit pricey.

I was very pleased with the service I received here. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very nice.

Super close to the airport and very easy to get too. Major highways are nearby and accessable. Rooms are spacious and have some nice extras. Only downside is that the LAX runway is very close and planes don't stop landing at night so this is not a place for you if you're a light sleeper.

Nothing special about the hotel itself and nothing much to complain about. It was a comfortable 48 hrs. Free shuttle to & fro the airport, but not as frequent as other hotel shuttles. Hotel is close to Dennys diner, convenience stores, Maria's Taco Truck, millions of car rental companies, etc. so the location is convenient in that airport area, but far from evtg else in LA.

Just a dump. Avoid. Spg platinum ambassador and this place just gets worse over time. Slap a motel 6 logo on it and call it a day.

I like the location, close to the airport. We walked in and quickly checked in. Receptionist was curtious and did gave us a $20 a night discount for parking. No way were we paying $45 a night. I think the hotel room is dated. Popcorn ceiling? Say no more. No fridge or microwave. COME ON. The room was clean and the staff was sweet and helpful. The bed was super comfy and everything was clean. Pool was clean. Overall I think it was ok. I expected more for a 4 star hotel.

Ok hotel close to the airport. But rather far away from everything else

The shuttle to and from the airport to the hotel was horrible. They say every 15 mins but we waited more like 35 - 45 minutes. Your better off walking to the car rental place next door to catch the shuttle if your in a rush.

Hotel was good , the only thing I didn't like it, was they charge me to park my car $35 dollars per day

Used their long term parking, it was very easy and the staff is very helpful.

The rooms are way over priced for 1) the area on town it is in 2) the age of this OLD hotel. You have the airport down the street, but nothing else to do. You are a good 45 to 60 minute drive to get anywhere (Hollywood, downtown L.A. etc.) If rhere is an event going on, there is very little to NO parking for anyone, including guest. They will still let cars in the full parking garage. Then you must fight with the attendant to let you out of the full parking garage without paying. Your ticket shows you have been there less than ten (10) minutes and no parking spots, but they still want that flat $16.00 + tax parking fee.

Great place to stay. A lot of thing are within walking distance.

No free WIFI parking is small and parking is expensive

Nice place, got the super late. Got a great rate on the spg site so can't complain. Right down the street from LAX so really convenient for those who are just coming in.

Who is the jerk that works here late night on the midnight shift. Short bald guy who I think works security that sticks his nose in if a female customer of the hotel looks hot or sexually dressed to kill because she was in town for a music awards. He ask her if she was working, while smiling in a funny way. I feel bad as I told her to use this hotel and this pervert that works at the hotel is now my fault. Next time she comes to town I will be with her when she checks in. Word to the pervert. Grow 3feet and gain 150 lb. Do not ever ask lady's that own there own business if there hookers A hole.

The rooms at the Westin LAX are very nice. Parking is expensive but they validate if you have a reservation. $12 charge for wifi.

To be clear my four stars is in relation to an airport hotel. If you like runway views, certain rooms have them along with the related noise just depends on what you like. Rooms are updated and have a decent work area and chair with sufficient outlets. Club area was more worn than the other areas and the offerings were only ok - except the bacon which was cooked just right something you rarely encounter in a Club. Arrived at 3 and had to wait 45 minutes for a room. They granted late checkouts without issue however (depending on status).

Arrived to be greeted by Spencer's friendly smile and above-and-beyond attentiveness when checking in. He introduced us to the hotel's robotic assistant (which we later used to have an extra towel delivered to our room).

This is one of the best hotels close to LAX big comfortable rooms very polite staff

Guest there many times. Finally changed to Hyatt Place at El Segundo.

The food is pricey at the resturants and do not have the best varity.

Westin, classy as always, but the rooms, while contemporary, felt dated.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Close proximity to the airport and easy shuttle ride. A little busy. Not particularly nice views/neighborhood.

Helpful staff, nice spaces. Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet room.
Had an excellent filet mignon in the lobby restaurant.
The room key didn't work on the first try and when I returned to the desk to get it corrected they gave us a couple drink vouchers for our trouble - and the replacement keys worked fine.

Excellent service, and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The food was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable, and when I would ask for additional information it was presented promptly. Also the food was glorious, and the room was immaculate.

Very clean. Had a beautiful scent everywhere I went. Overall had a enjoyable time and would come back.

Grand hotel atmosphere, very friendly staff and great accommodations. Modest but reasonable gym and nice pool.

I arrived at LAX early in the morning and was picked up by the Westin's courtesy bus within 10 minutes. The lobby was pristine, I was only there to rent a car, but my experience was overall fantastic.

Typically great place to stay but my last visit was horrible. They couldn't locate my reservation and try to Bill me twice. I hope you get better next time i stay

Meh. Dirty hallways, worn out rooms. Just a quick overnight before an early am flight. Would look for something cheaper/cleaner next time.

Good hotel, service is quick and efficient. Staff are all very friendly. The rooms inside feel very nice and new, not like a regular American hotels that smell of their age. My room had an airport view and the sunset was beautiful. There s a small pool and tanning area, gym, and a nice restaurant downstairs (daily grill). Room service was pretty good, I had a burger with fries. They have a free shuttle to and from the airport as well, which is very convenient.

Definitely not a normal westin standard. Phone didn't work. Had people below us out on their balcony until almost 2am being very loud and had to go and ask them to pack it up. Check in /out staff were efficient but our stay was soured by other guests I'm afraid

It was very quick to check in. And not battling with anything. The valet would bring us the car immediately without waiting and they would help us with advice on where to go and what to do in that area

Everything was going fine until the last day when security guards came and interrogated us at the poolside for absolutely no reason at all. It completely hurt the mood of our trip.

Attended a conference at the hotel. The conference was really good.

Went to an event in the ballroom food was very good. Very nice hotel.

I am a travel agent... I've always booked the Westin and stood behind them as a good quality company. Never before have I ever experienced a worse night than tonight. They had a Lobby full of guests and no clean rooms and after an hour and a half of waiting I was told it would be two more hours before the room was available. Since it was already after midnight and we have a flight at 6 in the morning I got my refund and damn straight I will not book The Westin for my clients.

Watch out for the parking FEES!!! Just dropped someone off in the parking garage and left immediately and was charged $13.20...HIGHWAY ROBBERY. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND THEY DON'T CARE...won't be staying there EVER. Hope it was worth losing a customer...

Nice hotel and a good restaurant. Park, stay and fly worked out well for us.

I actually didn't stay at this hotel, I just used their parking garage to park my car for a 5-day trip. The parking was covered, safe, and I pre-paid $13.00 per day. The shuttle service was excellent and the whole experience was much better than the huge parking lots around LAX.

I would give a 5-star rating to this hotel! I stayed at this hotel for two days. I was really fascinated by this place. It was has a good atmosphere. The staff that I spoke to was so polite and professional. The room where I stayed was so big and clean. The bed was so comfy and soft. The breakfast buffet they had was so delicious. Highly recommended!

Nice room close to LAX. We got a good price through their website. Needed for a very early departure.
