There's nothing to write home about. Don't lock yourself out of your room, so you don't have the tensed, and grueling experience, I just had with the front desk guy. I have a security guy called on me for demanding coherent policy.
I can't wait to get out of here. I am not coming back.

I currently staying in a Traditional Double room. On my second night, I smelled something strange on my blanket. I decided to pull the blanket off to check if anything was on it. I pulled off the blanket cover and found a giant pee stain (picture provided).

I called the front desk to ask for a room change. I can t believe how unprofessional she was. Instead of accommodating me, she asked why I didn t notice the smell on the first night. I had to explain to her how I did not inspect the entire room last night when I checked in. It wasn t until I asked for the manager that she offered me another room down the hall.

I waited about ten minutes for maintenance to show up with my new room key. He was nice and apologized for the inconvenience. I then had to pack and carry everything over to the new room without assistance in the middle of the night.

I love staying at the Westin. I have a few favorites. This week I stayed at one in DC and the team did great. My room was terrific and I made a new friend Estela S, the front desk manager. She is fantastic and set me up with waters and chocolates. It seems I will be in DC for the months to come and now I know exactly where to stay!

The Westin is on my top 3 favorite hotels of all time. This location is in the heart of the business district so everything is pretty close and you have easy access to the metro! Check in was a breeze, friendly staff, clean rooms and spaces. The only non-convenient thing about the rooms is the lack of microwave. I stayed here for about a week and during my stay I got ill so eating was a bit difficult. Unfortunately when I was finally able to eat something, I couldn t warm up food I had delivered the night before that I couldn t eat. I personally think a hotel this amazing with prices like theirs should have a microwave available for those unexpected moment when someone might need it!

The lobby restaurant/bar is a great place to eat and drink if you re too tired to get out for food.
Great hotel gym as well.

What a horrible experience. I paid over $800 to stay for four nights and the management was so cruel to me throughout the stay there as well as checking out.
I ve never felt more hated for being of a younger age in the millennial category than I did at the Westin honestly the rooms aren t even that nice and I completely overrated And need to be modernized.
Lose all hopes of breakfast and any food made in the building And the snacks are overpriced. Everything s pretty much closed down besides the small gym and the hallways could be cleaner

This is the kinda hotel that you actually want to go and stay in as this pandemic roars towards it's first anniversary. The front desk staff always demonstrates an exceptional degree of professionalism.

I noted the general manager personally attending to two separate in-room guest requests. (And as an aside: both times after he stepped off the elevators, he performed a perfunctory sweep through the entire lobby, resetting and tidying anything that a guest might see in seconds.)

The rooms. Well. There is nothing wrong with them. They're gracious and accommodating. They are just , well, a bit out of tempo with the decor. Arguably, the finish level is still high. It's just staid

But what truly makes me love The Westin brand--the bed and bed linens! It didn't disappoint

This Westin offers standard amenities. The staff is courteous and the rooms are average. Travelers should be aware that many of rooms look into a central enclosed courtyard. These rooms offer little to no privacy as guests have a clear view into each other s rooms. This means the blackout curtains need to be drawn at all times if guests want privacy. With the curtains closed the rooms feel more confined.

It's great when you walk into a hotel that it takes your breath away by the beauty of the hotel and how well cleaned it was but with one down fall, if you park across the street in just linger around for while well you notice rats just every where some coming from hotel side of the street to where people self park at the Westin. I didn't see any inside let me say that but I've seen more rats in 15min then what I have seen all my 35 years of living .
