This place is fantastic. Smells great from outside. So many delicious choices. Tons of desserts and cookies to choose from along with fresh made salads and whatnots as well. This visit was a monster cookie that was the best I've ever had (and I bake so I know). I would have liked to try 1 of everything. This is a regular stop when stopping at the Sassy Jack's stitching store . Cannot say enough good about it.

Awesome gluten free desserts and although they warn of possible cross contamination, I am extremely sensitive and I had no gluten reaction. So excited to find gf bakery to visit when I'm in town.

Great local place for lunch or dinner. This is a kind of place where there are a lot of prepared foods under glass behind the counter, and you pick out what you want, and then they bring a plate to you with your choices. The curried chicken salad on a croissant that I had for lunch was delicious. My wife and I will definitely be coming back whenever we are in Weaverville.

Excellent soups and sandwiches here served on fresh rolls or bread. Prices are moderate on the food. Baked goods are a little high but well worth it. Location is its biggest drawback. It is on Weaverville's main thoroughfare and there is no parking. I had to park four blocks away and my lunch companion parked three blocks away and as well. If you don't mind exercise then this is a great eatery.

Best all fresh high quality deserts available in Buncombe County. Weaverville location is the original Well Bred bakery. I believe they also opened another Well Bred bakery in Biltmore Village, close to the Biltmore Estate.

I've tried to give this place a chance several times as I live close by, but the cookies were stale for the third time. The coffee was OK, but the milk was clumpy and left out for too long. The worst thing is the staff are snotty. Definitely no Southern hospitality here just bad food and rudeness. Unfortunate because I love downtown Weaverville.

This gem has fresh made sandwiches, quiches, cookies and all sorts of awesome desserts. Good seating area to enjoy while you are there and friendly service will package it to go as well. In small town Weaverville that you could easily walk and can stop off here for a quick dessert.

Well Bread is perhaps the most "magical" bakery in North America. I say this without reservation. I've made it a holiday tradition to provide cakes and pies for extended family and clients at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Best sweets around. Truly this place has the best remedy for anyone with a sweet tooth, or want some good coffee or maybe a sandwich, what about home made dog treats. They have it all and it's fresh and not too expensive. The staff is knowledgeable and can answer your questions about any of their items. We didn't know they served sandwiches and wraps or we would have ate dinner there.

Great selection of breakfast and lunch items, and clearly marked gluten free and vegetarian options! Everything I tried was delicious and we loved it so much we came twice on our four day trip.

this place has gone downhill, my piece of microwaved quiche was half the size it normally is, one of our sandwiches was burnt on the outside but cold on the inside, overall bad service, maybe if these people paid their staff a living wage they would have a better outcome....

Really awesome, friendly little bakery & cafe. My girlfriend and I took a trip over there a couple weeks back, and everything we bought was great! The customer service is very good as well - they made sure to help us find things we'd love!

Alright guys. I can handle the 5$ slice of pie or the half cold breakfast burrito, but I don t know if I ll be back now that you have gotten rid of Mountainair coffee. Seriously, it was a big reason I would stop there for breakfast, now, I just keep cruising. I also understand that many people enjoy flavored coffee, but that propalyne glycol is just gross. Good luck y all. I m sure you ll be fine

We went around 5:00pm on a Wednesday. Got in and ordered quickly, served promptly. Staff were knowledgeable and helped me make an educated decision. We chose the chocolate cheesecake and it was amazing! Rated 5/5 would recommend would eat here again.

I've been a fan of Well-Bred since they first opened. First I fell in love with their chocolate torte, then I explored their many other delicious dessert offerings. They have great healthy snacks too. Various sandwiches (served hot or cold), salads (kale, quinoa, potato, and others that vary), and other house made offerings can be selected from the case.

These days, Well-Bred is my go-to spot to meet someone for coffee and a long chat. Late in the day, I like their Breve. It's a huge creamy cup, with just enough coffee for the aroma and taste, but not enough to add much in the way of caffeine.
