Nice hotel close to old town, friendly professional staff, cisy rooms, elevator a bit small, also the breakfast hall, you can find a seat if you go early, food delicoius, furniture old style but bathroom is modern, there is kettle in the room and I liked the "tap water is drinkable" sign

Good place but all spa activities and parking cost extra.

Really good condition and great breakfast. Highly recommended. Had to fill in a paper form upon arrival which is slow and annoying but very typical perhaps even a legal requirement? It meant check in was a bit slow but not a huge problem.

Underwhelming experience in this hotel. Expected much more value for the price tag. There are better alternatives in the city. Location was good. Rooms have seen better days. Maintenance for flickering lights and worn down rooms needed

Beautiful hotel in a good location. Due to the corona, there were small problems with the breakfast at first, but a quick solution was found and everything went smoothly the next morning.

Location, location, location. There's probably places with even better location but it's close to the Telliskivi quarter (must visit) and to upper old-town and railway station and... No clue about the rooms and rates though, friends have been satisfied...

We stayed one night in the von Stackelberg hotel on the 1st of January 2021. It was the time of strict Covid rules, so all the common areas including restaurant were closed.
We booked a Zen room with a jacuzzi and left a note while booking that we had chosen the stay for a little celebration. We were warmly (and very politely) welcomed with the news of upgrade to Zen Deluxe room as they had vacancies. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the romantic decoration in the room (a sweet response to our note about our celebration).
The room was spacious, beautifully designed, so as well the bathroom. Loved the toiletries collection as well (I m quite picky with these).
As the restaurant was closed, we were advised to use one of the delivery service available in Tallinn and the staff offered to bring the food to our room once it was delivered to the reception.
The (superb) breakfast was also served in the room due to Covid rules.
We also asked for a late checkout which we were kindly allowed (free of charge).
A truly amazing stay and a perfect beginning to the 2021 would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxorious stay in Tallinn.

Four stars give nothing. Soundproofing disgusting. There is almost nothing in the bathroom that can usually be found in the hotel s 4-star bathroom. Breakfast is average. Repair is also not four or five. The quality of cleaning also leaves much to be desired. There is no elevator to the second floor in the second building; it s generally not fun to climb or descend with things. But the staff is quite polite. And the location is the best you can imagine - right along the picturesque road up the hill from the hotel and you are in Freedom Square and there in the old town. Maybe for those whose rooms are in the main building, the reviews will be better. On average, the hospital is not so terrible, but generally trojak.

The best hotel I have ever been. Not stupidly big, just is.. perfect. Like a castle and you are a princess there:)

Rooms clean and location good. It was worth renting the sauna department for your own use for an hour. Breakfast good, by no means special. The service was friendly.

Very nice experiense to stay and relax. Nice room, good bed. Bath whit bubbels in room. Massage in spa was good. Breakfest was good, altouhg "warm food" wasn't very warm.

Solid three! You can t drive to the entrance by car. The old city is far away. From the windows there is a view of the sky or the courtyard where people smoke. The rooms are dark. The bathroom is not comfortable. Breakfast was given out from behind the glass in portions to dull music. In the courtyard there s a fancy window noise at night not open! Hotel at one time. Russian-speaking staff is super !!!

I have stayed here recently for the first time. This hotel is for me exactly as a hotel should be. Either for a business trip or a weekend exploring the city. It has all the necessary amenities and is clean, super friendly and located perfectly. For those getting there by car the serviced parking is very convenient.

The most amazing hotel in Tallinn. In my room i had Jacuzzi. Room was very big, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is English style and so delicious. I stayed for 1 week. I recommend it.

Nice old towey hotel. Though if you're concerned about the safety of you and your family I'd recommend some place that isn't terrifyingly close to a main and busy intersection. My wife almost got hit by a truck exiting the main entrance as the footpath is about 50cm wide (barely wide enough for 1 small person). Why the city of Tallinn or hotel allows this is absolutely crazy.

Cons: Rooms are not that perfect as they show. Even soda isn't free. Parking downstairs isn't that good.
Pros: The restaurant downstairs is perfect not only for breakfast but overall. Location on maps looks like a bit far from the center but IRL only about 5-7 minutes walk to the sights and cafes.

Cozy, under the hotel you can also eat a normal street walker and quite cheaply.

The hotel is ideal, the architecture is exciting, the decor is geared to 4 stars and meets all requirements in this category. The deductions are due to the incompetent service, the inability of the bartenders and the average quality of the restaurant / breakfast. On the other hand, we recommend the spa area, which can be rented completely for 40 EUR for one hour, ie. Whirlpool, sauna and showers. Everyone has to decide for themselves, after the disappointment regarding service and food, we have made ourselves comfortable and spent 4 relaxing days there.

Hotel par Excellence!
We stayed there for 4 Nights. 2 Nights in the Standard Room which was very Lovely ans Clean. A little small but enough for 2 persons on a City Trip. The others 2 Nights we spend in the zen Deluxe Room we're awesome! The room was very very nice and fitted with well choosen Furniture. The extra booked romantic package was also very nice.

Friendly hotel, small room, but comfortable and equipped. Excellent international breakfast very rich, try the butter. Very convenient location. The only flaw, from the closed window the cold entered and the radiator was not enough to keep the room adequately warm.

Everything is just great !!!
Hotel location: 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Even with luggage ok. Near bus stops. Old Town is within reach. The rooms are cozy, small. If you are cold, add the battery. The room has it all! Slippers, bathrobes, soap and rylnye, tea, coffee, warm floor in the bathroom. And the hydromassage bath is a dream! Breakfast is beyond praise! Even if you live here for a week, you can have something new every day.
The staff is very helpful. The main building has an elevator.

The von Stackelberg is a very stylish hotel, it fits fine and normal. I often find that very difficult, but they do the splits. We had small but nice rooms, the bathroom had (pleasant in winter) underfloor heating, the water pressure was not intoxicating but adequate. Some rooms have showers, some have bathtubs. If that's important, ask the best. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are there. Everything was very clean. The staff are very discreet but nice and attentive. There was a great full breakfast with good breads, scrambled eggs, English stuff, porridge, pancakes, lots of juices, small smoothies and a good coffee machine, which was gladly broken.
The water in the room cost 5 , but with the indication that the tap water is drinkable. I think that's more than fair. The location to the city requires a few meters to walk, but on a city tour you are actually anyway always on the way. We did not find the distance disturbing.

I come here to meet Devklab. Interesting hotel. Pleasant.

The conference room is excellent, the snacks are good, did not stay at the hotel itself
