The breakfast was adequate. The hotel is located directly on the beach and you have an overview of the whole bay.

Beautifully located hotel with fantastic outdoor facilities and great views. Unfortunately, our room was very dusty and in the corners were cobwebs. The breakfast was very good by French standards, but also twice as expensive as in the other hotels, in which we were in our 2 week Corsica round trip. We were also told the price for 2 nights and then said that the price was for one night. On Booking. com the room was also cheaper. For the price there are better hotels

Nice hotel, new, clean, nicely decorated. Spacious rooms. Courteous, helpful and discreet staff. They speak italian. Swimming pool and private beach equipped. Excellent breakfast in the comfortable and quiet seafront living.
All at a reasonable price and absolutely advantageous for the services and quality offered.
It will be a must on my next trip to Corsica

Friendly welcome in a quiet and pleasant setting a few meters from a pebble beach with translucent water, beautiful room, very good services, full breakfasts, choice of pastries, fresh fruit, branded tea, cold meats, cheeses .. .., 5 minutes drive from the city center and a small welcome gesture.

I traveled solo to Corsica for a short holiday and chose La Florentine Hotel due to its position outside the main town of St. Florent and because it sits directly on the water. It was a great choice!! The hotel sits just outside the noise and traffic of St. Florent on a peaceful bit of beach with comfortable lounge chairs facing the bay for beautiful morning and evening views. When I went in early June, high season had not kicked in so it was still quiet and very peaceful. I had a huge room with a king size bed with double doors that opened towards the parking area/mountains. The bathroom is nice size with an ample shower/tub and wonderful bath products!! But what made my stay so wonderful were the staff. Jean Claude Rossi, the owner and proprietor lives on site and was downstairs every morning having his breakfast early. Since I'm an early riser, I met him every morning for coffee and we tried to communicate. Save for a few pleasantries, I know no French, and his English was just passable; but we managed to talk about the island, things to see and our families. He is a gracious host and always made sure I was comfortable. The other staff members (only 4) were young, enthusiastic and uber helpful. Most are either still in college, working for the summer, or just out of college and it's their first job. Solene at the front desk is LOVELY, and she translated information for me, made suggestions for dinner, and even went with me on a drive to Calvi one afternoon where we enjoyed dinner together. Staying here was like staying with family and I will definitely return.

A bit far on foot from the center of St Florent but on the other hand there is tranquility.
