Hands down best hotel in Hong Kong . Among best service of any hotel worldwide. Elegance and taste of rooms and hotel design can not be overstated. Location is great (, and next to one of the nicest malls in Hong Kong. Penthouse bar/lounge & restaurant among the nicest in Hong Kong , worth visiting even if you're not staying at upper house. 1 caveat: no pool in hotel so of you're looking for that then I would recommend four seasons. But upper house way nicer than four seasons.

It was not a tourist orientated hotel though we are being up graded to a penth house unit at 48th floor. It has 2 large rooms with very large and high end bath tub with walk in wardrode. It also come with large family hall with huge sofa , dining table and a kitchen. It has nice view of Hong kong esp at night.

We stayed in a Studio 80 room with island views for a week for my wife's birthday. Views to the lush green hillside and towards Causeway Bay we fantastic it was beautiful to come home to take in all the calming green after a day in the concrete jungle of the city. The room is essentially an apartment very spacious (I'd recommend comparing the square meterage with other establishments) and comfortable, stylish and well appointed.

The location is very convenient, with plenty of quality eating options within a few minutes walk in Wan Chai and everything else just a stop or two on the MTR from the station only 5 minutes walk away.

Rarely have we stayed in an establishment that made us feel so special and well cared for. The team helped me with arrival surprises for my wife (and some gifts of their own, which was lovely). They checked in with us frequently to see if there was anything they could help with, and even surprised us with lovely gifts the look of genuine shocked delight on my wife's face when she opened a new leather handbag was priceless. Racheal, Michelle and Patrick in the Guest Services team made the stay for us.

Protests were frequent and becoming more confrontational during our stay in Hong Kong, and as we walked past the front desk each day Patrick or another team member would ask us what our plans were and offer friendly advice about ensuring our safety and comfort, offering to pick us up if at any time we were concerned. Thankfully that was never an issue and we never at any time felt threatened or overly concerned during our stay in Hong Kong.

The maxi bar is a lovely treat to come home to and grab a beer while taking in the view before heading out to dinner. Views from the upstairs bar are outstanding the bathrooms are something to behold.

Overall I'd recommend The Upper House for its unique and bespoke approach. There's nothing 'businessy' about this place, unlike many of the hotel chains. The experience is understated indulgence and effortless excellence. A truly unique and wholly pleasant experience.

Rooms feel spacious like service apartments, which is a feat given the central location in HK. Staff are professional and friendly. Has a great restaurant in the hotel and a lot of options in the adjoining Pacific Place.

We came to the Upper House for a weekend staycation to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was a surprise to him, as well as my ten year old.

It was an amazing experience for us, before, during and after our stay there.

Before our stay, I had emailed the Upper House for several times, for pre-ordering a birthday cake for my husband, for preparing a sofa bed for my boy, for enquiring the exact route to it, for confirming the check-in/check-out time and for upgrading the room to a seaview room... Yes, I was so sorry for sending so many emails, but every email reply from the staff of Upper House was not only polite and concise, but also heart-warming and friendly.

Everything was amazingly smooth with the help of staff members of the Upper House. The check-in, the cake, the sofa bed set up, the welcome drink, the breakfast, the popcorns and even the check-out were impressingly well-arranged.

The highlight of the Upper House is of course its seaview room. The view of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Penisula is unforgettable (and the charge of upgrading is never a regret). My son's favourite was of course the giant bathtub - he could enjoy the night view of the Harbour and the TV at the same whilst bathing. What a luxurious experience!

There are drinks, snacks and popcorns, so you will not be hungry when watching all the popular movies available.

It's a 24 hour package, so basically one can look at the Harbour in the morning, in the afternoon, at sunset and at sunrise. I am sure you will fall in love with the Harbour and the Upper House after 24 hours!

Good views from the 49th floor, not the most amazing in HK, but OK if you don't have much experience of HK. Items on the menu are quite limited but the food quality is very high. Was very busy at lunch and then got very busy again at 3:30 for the afternoon tea session.

Great hotel, outstanding service - interiors that are luxe minimalist. The patio is a gem for sitting outside and having a cigar when the weather is cool and Cafe Grey has an amazing breakfast and bar scene . Rooms are large and it s not surprising that these rooms were serviced apartments in a previous incarnation

Most definitely one of the best if not the best hotel in Hong Kong. This is an example of an extremely well managed hotel where everything is at the same level of excellence, the staff, the service, the facilities, the restaurant and the bar. Attention to detail is everywhere. The staff are pleasant and friendly at all times.
Very nice view of the city, superb bathrooms, no equipment is missing.

Stayed here for the first time after hearing wonderful things about the hotel, and it did not disappoint.

The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The wood accents make the hotel feel much more cozy than other hotels. Large windows make for splendid views of the harbor.

The service is also very good. If I ever called Guest Experiences (Concierge) or the front desk or housekeeping, my needs were addressed and met efficiently.

Breakfast at the Cafe Gray Deluxe is also very good relative to other hotel breakfasts. The mint tea is made with fresh mint leaves, so the tea itself is rejuvenating to drink. The truffle scrambled eggs on a croissant was my favorite breakfast choice; it was savory without being overpowering. And if you go for afternoon tea, make sure to get extra scones those were fantastic.

This time I chose the 24-hour package with The Upper House to stay in the upper house.
The owner of the hotel has a simple and quiet style. Natural lighting and soft lighting are used in the hotel to make people feel at home.
The hotel staff is kind and courteous. Christy will navigate my room. When you walk to the side, the staff will greet you. Even after checking out, Edward Tang will pay attention to your stay experience.
Room furnishings and supplies are meticulous. Maxi bar snacks and drinks are free to enjoy; there are lip balm, disinfectant gel and glasses cloth in the airplane travel bag. The beds are clean and comfortable.
The Upper House is suitable for families. In addition to children s supplies, the hotel also gave a wooden box of crayons and coloring pads, ice cream new ground per person, and cafe gray deluxe children s meals are free.
Breakfast and dinner are cafe Gray deluxe. The restaurant environment and dining performance are excellent, and every dish is delicious. Thanks for the professional and courteous service of the restaurant team.
Highly recommended! Worth the experience!

Worse service I've EVER experienced. Couldn't take the wait after being circulated through every phone line with no one willing to help with any questions I had, so hung up. Seems like they've gotten too pretentious to care about good service. Better places in that area for better prices AND more importantly, service. Not worth the effort of clicking the book button.

Hong Kong, China This is a very good hotel. The room was great, very clean, with nice beds and a fully equipped bathroom. Free wireless network, very fast, very pleasant! The bathroom is very refined. The dinner service is very attentive and the taste is very good. The hotel's waiters are also well-trained, and every detail reveals their seriousness and responsibility for the work. Even the small things like the set are very careful and spacious rooms, perfect breakfast and comfortable service. Ideal for family travel, it is especially worth mentioning that the service of the restaurant and the quality of the food provided are excellent compared to the few Michelin-starred restaurants in Pacific Place. The room service is fast and fast, and the meal is delivered in time. The quality of the meal is good and the price is more suitable.

A paradise in HongKong,

A paradise in HongKong,
Certainly my best stay in HongKong so far.
Great staff, friendly but efficient.
Beautiful design in the 70sqm room and open view over Victoria Harbour.
Wonderful rooftop restaurant and a "feel like home" living-room area with Art books, fireplace and all you need to relax.
The entire hotel is perfectly designed and I will certainly stay again with The Upper House.

Not sure where to start with the compliments. I have been coming to UH for 3 years now. I always recommend it to friends coming in town and it does not disappoint.
The views no matter whether harbour side or inner city are spectacular. Really allows you to admire the beauty of HK.

The service is personalised beyond expectations. The team makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in and always are one step ahead in making sure your stay is as easy and comfortable as possible. For example, if you have a restaurant booking that you are running late for they will preemptively call - without you having to ask. Little details like this that make you feel BOSS.

The beds are extremely (!!) comfortable. The room service quick and tasty, great options even after hours. The only point of concern I'd pull up is the lighting in the bathroom. Quite dim and hard to do make-up with - however most hotels have really bad lighting in the bathroom. Signs they've been designed by a man not woman.

No the Upperhouse doesn't have a pool. But who wants to be bathing a communal sweat pot of chlorine anyway. They do have an exceptional restaurant that makes leaving the hotel difficult.
Having stayed in three other of the cities major luxury hotels, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but UH. Just wish they had one in every city!

It is really 5 stars experience, from reception through room cleaning, in room dining, to transportation. The staff are very experienced and friendly. The location is amazing and very close to malls and public transportation stations. Hotel facility is super clean.

The room is equipped with latest technology such as television with wide channels selection, bose Bluetooth speakers where you can connect your phone and enjoy listing to music. The bathtub is stunning and relaxing. It is guaranteed that you will never forget stay experience at Upper House in Hong Kong.

One of the nicest properties I ve stayed at. Service was wonderful, the hotel is beautiful and the food was really good too. There s a metro station right underneath that adds convenience if you don t want to take a taxi all around. Also the asst director of guest experience, Michelle, went above and beyond during our stay. Would recommend to anyone that asks where to stay in HK!

Very in and trendy place to go for drinks. Their lounge is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the harbour. Service is also very good and it's not too loud so you can go with friends to chat and talk

Great spacious rooms but do NOT consider organizing any events at this hotel. The lack of professionalism is extremely shocking and will most likely ruin your event. The management is trying hard to pick up the broken pieces from their lowly qualified event team staff but the below par performance of that team is just a total mismatch with this wonderfully unique hotel. A great shame. Next door hotels are definitely a better options for your special day until proper training is done.

Great staff that is always looking out for you and are extremely friendly, making the experience homely. The rooms are big and spacious and so is the bathrooms, everything is beautifully designed as well. This was a splendid experience through and through, highly recommended if you are considering.

Some excellent design touches in the rooms and great room space in a town where space is at a premium. Really needs a pool to justify the price and the scruffy top floor bar really lets it down. Staff are great but tech needs updating. My door lock and essential curtain motors both failed in my 3 night stay. Great views.
