I called the Unemployment Law Project to be represented in my case on January 26th 2014. It was all good until I had my preliminary. This was on January 29th 2014, the guy doing the preliminary was rude and would not let me speak. He would frequently interrupt me and almost yelled at me and was very condescending. After my preliminary was done the guy told me that my case would be sent to the lawyers on Thursday January 30th 2014 at 4 pm and that I would get a phone call on Friday morning on January 31st 2014. I never received that call. I called multiple times on Friday, Monday, and then finally I got through today on Tuesday February 4th 2014. I tell them who I am and they look at my file and tell me they are not taking my case. So after all this being proactive and trying to get represented they just wasted my time to where I had no time to get another lawyer and I lost my case. They did not even apologize to me when I confronted them about it. DO NOT CALL The Unemployment Law Project, they not care!

These guys helped me out when I needed them a few years ago. The representation both during the phone call with my former employer as well as in the back and forth as my former employer sought to deny me benefits made all the difference. Because of ULP I got my unemployment, which gave me the breathing room to start over. I am now the proud owner of a successful small business, thanks in large part to the help I got from ULP

Regardless of my Unemployment Hearing Outcome, I can tell you that The UPL (Unemployment Law Project) has been absolutely amazing for me. I had my packet sent over from the Office of Administrative Hearings the day that I got a hearing date and on the docket. Tirra is who I have been working with and she has been absolutely amazing! She is a law student, but knows her stuff! 100%. She is going to be an amazing attorney when she is done with school! They quickly did my intake appointment and then quickly took the case and notified me that they could represent me. I know that my hearing will go well and that I will win. Thank you, Unemployment Law Project for your awesome service thus far! I recommend contacting them if you need help! :)

The unemployment law project helped me win my appe...

The unemployment law project helped me win my appeal against my old job they only charge you $200 if you win and they don't charge you anything if you lose they also ask for a donation if you can afford it while you won't get the personal time you would if you hired a regular attorney an attorney will charge you much more most unemployment appeals are not serious enough that you need a full Hands-On attorney the burden of proof is on the employer so therefore I found them very helpful because when it comes to these hearings structure and the way you were things are everything don't know if I would have one without them I don't think I would have so I'm very thankful to them like I said they helped me win my appeal and keep a roof over my head
