Outstanding venue. It's too bad they only offer Wild Ginger's menu.
Outstanding venue. It's too bad they only offer Wild Ginger's menu.
Terrific place to eat, drink, and see a show in Seattle, WA
Fabulous performances in a comfortable setting in an historic theatre. They have good beer and delicious food with healthy options. Some stairs but with railings.
Great setup, awesome whiskey selection, and friendly service staff. Loved the show.
I can't recommend this place based on price alone. Approximately $30 an Entre, and $16 drinks. Sorry but that's insane.
Friendly staff and the seating feels very intimate.
The venue was nice. The food was good but overpriced. Our waitress was very friendly.
This is a great venue with two live music areas. The MQ stage and lounge is upstairs as you walk in and the main stage is downstairs. There is valet and/or garage parking both on Union Street. The garage is right next door to the Triple door entrance where the valet is located. Sometimes the valet is hard to pull over to because of traffic. Yummy food from Wild Ginger.
Chill vibe, sexy people, great entertainment, top notch drinks! I just found my new happy place!!!
The Triple Door is as close to an old time night club as one could hope. The downstairs (main) room hosts a wide variety of performances. Seating is reserved, so best to buy tickets ahead of time on their website (if you do this, you can walk right past the ticket kiosk and into the main room. Food is Pan Asian, from Wild Ginger and quite good. There are both booths and counter seating. Sightlines through-out the room are very good. A great place to see a performance!
Well, the show was good. The venue, however, had a few hiccups. I booked a little late and got table 61, which is probably the worst table in the place, in the back behind other patrons with no elevation. It amounts to obstructed view seating and should be listed as such. I ordered two of the same drinks, one served with a cherry, the second with an olive. Fortunately my date enjoyed the olive. I didn't enjoy my entree though, because I didn't get it. We still hadn't received entrees by intermission. (We arrived at least a half hour before the show.) Our server was apologetic, and brought my date's dinner quickly, but by this time I wasn't hungry anymore. They comped the entree we did get but I'd much rather have got our food timely and paid for it than miss my meal and have my date sad and hungry. All in all, still a $200ish evening without entrees, watching mostly the back of other people's heads. I understand that we had a particularly bad experience, but they shouldn't be providing that level to anyone at that price point. Oh well. Stay away from table 61, (that entire section, really, except for the counter seats) and get there when the doors open if you want to eat.
Comfortable intimate venue, excellent food and service.
Had a blast seeing Mark hummel at his harmonica blowout last week. Great venue.
Great food, great performance, amazing audience! Lots of fun.
Ate the boar in the bar and got food poisoning! Its the only food I had all evening. I don't think I can ever go back.
Great show venue!! Great service. Cider tasted of can, was disappointing but didn't overshadow the incredible show.
Intimate music venue with reasonable food beer and cocktails
Always have a great time at whatever show or just sitting at the bar!!!
Great venue, reasonable price on the show and drinks, excellent show.
Food is not quite great. But venue is fantastic. Food issue probably because it must be a booger to get that much food out, that quick. All in all... You will love it.
Had a great time at the burlesque nutcracker show. Food from Wild Ginger was spectacular and the view/ambience was great. Was a little squeezed in our seats as a 2-top on the counter, though the site did say limited access
Shows are always great here and I love the venue. So comfortable. The drinks are good. The food is ok-- it's a little mediocre and is overpriced, but you're going there for a show not the best meal in Seattle. We typically just get an appetizer here and then get dinner somewhere else after the show.
Great food and great service.
Excellent music: Kate Lynne Logan!
Great venue, but awful service. We got ignored by all the wait staff, even the busboy, Finally went to the bar to get a beer and got ignored there too. Normally, I wouldn't go back to a place with such poor service, but it is a nice venue. I'll bring my flask next time. One star for the service.
It's an original place, the bar itself is nice with a view on the street, the performers are very good, it's cozy. As for the theater it's large comfortable but looks old and need some attention to justify the ticket prices, the shows are diverse and there is something for everyone.
Comfortable seating and excellent sound quality make this one of my favorite venues in the city. There is room to move around and dance but it's quite limited so if you're way into that, fair warning. The food is less outstanding than I would expect for the prices, but the staff is friendly and surprisingly attentive considering you're in a dark room with dark furniture and a labyrinthine path they have to use. Beware the private suites, they definitely have their advantages but the show is a bit muted and when whatever band is in the front of the house that night gets going they'll often end up competing, only in the suites.
Great show (Bohemia). So wonderful, incredible creative hosts
I adore this venue.
Sound is amazing, every seat has a great view, and the food and drinks are tasty.
A little on the pricey side, but if someone you like is playing there it will be an experience you will never forget.
Also love the KEXP donor events here!
Love a show at the Triple Door! The drinks are very expensive just a warning. I didn t do the dinner, but it looked Ok. All in all it s a fun venue!
Great place for dinner and a show, we always have a lot of fun here
Service is great and simultaneously unobtrusive.
Great place to catch a music show or theater (Camptacular was wonderful!)
The food is sustainably sourced - and not just a few 'green' marquee options, but everything on the menu. I feel comfortable order anything they offer and trust that it is beneficial to the farmers and the planet.
Kind of pricey but the food was good and the show was great.
Veey impressed with this venue!! Everything was clean and the wait staff were great; professional and very quick even with a packed audience.
I love the Musiquarium lounge where you can always go and listen to music free and order food from the great Wild Ginger next door.
Beautiful theatre, should not be missed if visiting Seattle any time of the year. Excellent food choices, apps. to full meal deal, fun specialty cocktails, friendly and efficient staff- what are you waiting for! Book a show now!
I watched the production "This is Halloween." This was my first time attending a burlesque show, but I was very entertained and amused by how lively the play was. The venue that hosted it was well designed and very close to parking as well.
Great venue. Food is on the expensive side, but tasty
Seating & shows give it a old classy type of feel that you would see in movies. Also attached to a bar and restaurant cool place to chill.
I love the experience of doing to triple door. Yeah the food is a little pricey but it's always been good food. The layout is great for an evening show. I always look for shows there.
Absolutely loved it! Sunny Landreth was fantastic!!!!
The trivia here was fun. It's easy to locate by public transit. The happy hour food was reasonably priced and fairly good.
Music was interesting but, for me , lacked a smooth combination of players making music.
Saw a comedy show here. Table was ready. Server was attentive. Place was comfortable. Not having known what to expect I was very happy with the entire operation. Our drinks came quick and the food was good too. With such a central location it really is a premier place to see an act. I don t see many comedy shows but if I saw someone was at the triple door I d go out of my way to make it happen. Very nice spot.
The Triple Door is one of the best music venues in Seattle. The acoustics are great and the menu offers a good selection of food and drinks.
Great club which has a wonderful range of music. Provides very good food and drink which you can have at your leisure while enjoying the show.
Always love this place. Friendly and extra helpful staff, wonderful food and amazing shows
Go for the burlesque shows but DO NOT ORDER from the menu. The food we tried was absolutely horrible and suuuuper-overpriced. Drinks are OK. But the performances is really what you go here for.
A wonderful venue for live music. The Musicquarium is a sweet lounge with a nice bar that often features local music artists in the evenings. They also have mid-size theater with a steady stream of fabulous musical acts all through the year.
Great venue
A bit pricey
What a great venue to see live music! We went to Curtis Salgado and Alan Hagar. First off the performance was excellent! The food and drink where good, although the pricing prevents me from giving 5 stars.. Great location with valet parking that is very convenient from I5. We will be back!
One of the best dinner theatres in Seattle. Hardworking staff and kitchen. Food and drink is pricey but worth it for entrees, and the shows are great. Production and sound crew always get it right. Changes menu often. Clean bathrooms. Easy to get a manager.
Fantastic once again! Great show! The costumes were wonderful! The dancers & musicians were 1st class! Seattle talent is no.1!!!
Good food & show, all great seats in this venue. Downstairs bathrooms are a trek
The counter seating in front of the sound-man is horribly tight, do not sit there! Seriously man, this is a nice venue, why would you put a railing behind a wedged in chair? I'm normal sized and this was worse than being stuffed in a trunk. The wall in front of the counter will block any short persons view. This exhibits greed for selling a few more seats, quite unnecessary.
The food and service are good, the sound is amazing. Remodel or remove the above mentioned seating and I'll give this place a better review.
This was my first time going here and I am wildly impressed. The atmosphere is cozy and charming. The seating is very nice and lets your party feel like it s own group with the booths. The sound is good and the room is a good size. I am in love with wild ginger and greatly enjoyed their food while the performance went on. I will definitely being coming back here as much as I can.
Saw a new Jazz band in the lounge. Great setting. We were able to get close to the stage. Great views of the musicians. Relaxing atmosphere. Good food and drinks.
Crescent shaped booths tiered all the way up give every seat a great view of the stage! Great sound system and the wait staff is phenomenal! The Chicken Yakitori is wonderful and the Shu Mai Dumplings are tasty! Lots of different things to try!
Music, food and venue make it an excellent- a very special place indeed.
A fun place to watch the show and drink and eat at the same time. My family and I enjoyed the show and the food!
Such a great and intimate venue. The views were amazing from most seats in the place. On this particular night, the sound quality wasn't EQd quite right, but it was good enough. The food was delicious. Would highly recommend this venue for a great night out!
Attended Plungefest - very nice venue with seats and drink/food service.
Great venue for live music! Service is fast and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
Hands down my favorite place to see an artist. So intimate. Plus their chocolate martinis are to die for. Luv!
Decent food and drink for happy hour, reasonably priced. I've always been disappointed by the service at the bar. They don't get to you, you have to ask and it feels like you are burdening them by asking to serve you a drink. Then when you order food it could come in 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or not at all. Much better happy hours can be found.
It's a bit quiet but service is good and they have a good selection. Been a few times.
Saw legendary Al Stewart. Had great seats, but sound system too loud by 10db at least. I could have had a heart attack and lived from the boom hitting my body from the base line and drums. My wife and I both had to partially plug our ears at times. It was so loud I could hear reverberation off that back of the venue. I saw All Stewart with Empty Pockets opening about 1 year ago but with seats towards the back, and it was just perfect. This painful sound level was disappointing on all but the quietest songs. Empty Pockets and Al Stewart we're excellent, as is table layout.
Great music venue! Food and service are so-so. I've been to the main Triple Door venue twice recently (as opposed to the bar upstairs) and both times the entertainment was great. The space is well engineered for sound and the old theater is a nice, intimate setting for the type of acts they book.
I understand the limitations of a dinner theater venue and set my expectations accordingly, but twice the Triple Door has come up short with mediocre quality and careless preparation. Once my jasmine rice was so undercooked it was still hard. Next visit my fried rice was overcooked and dried out. Should be basics for an Asian restaurant. I had forgotten drink and dessert orders too on both visits.
