Traditional pub, all tables were outside and (many undercover) when we visited in mid/late July due to CV-19. Very good burgers.

Only tried the food during lockdown takeaway routine, but every time the staff have been friendly and the food has been great. Reasonably priced too. Look forward to eating in sometime!
After a lovely walk along the canal we had a wonderful lunch here in the very pleasant garden
Food was great choice of drink good sorry we didn't try the fish platter as it looked great
Never fails to exceed expectations. Lovely staff, superb pub food, great beers on tap and an astonishing range of gins.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was less than expected, but we put this down to a rushed lunchtime in Covid conditions. Perhaps just our choices.
Very good selection. Plenty of safety measures for Covid19.
Lovely country pub in a beautiful, quintessentially English, village. Standard pub food menu, well cooked, good portions and served efficiently with a smile. Dogs appeared to be welcome. Interesting range of local beers and ciders too.
Very lovely place. Food is excellent lovely atmosphere to.and lovely surroundings
The Swan is a small village pub not far from the Wilton windmill, set in a beautiful rural location. At the moment due to Covid restrictions they are mainly serving takeaway meals and drinks, but they also have a varied selection of homemade frozen meals, pies and puddings for sale for the gourmet palate all which are beautifully displayed inside the pub. We regularly have a takeaway from here, and I can recommend the scampi as delicious, they also do a lovely pulled pork, with a variety of gluten free options
Fantastic food, service & atmos.
Well worth a visit to sample the fab real ale
Nice relaxing atmosphere in a lovely little village location.
A really nice pub with great staff, great beer, and lovely food.
Good character, and excellent ciders which are changed regularly. I'm sure the beers is the same but I don't drink it. Enjoyable good quality pub food. A place for the family!
Lovely Pub , havent visited here for many years, but heard of great things about food, it was busy ( May bank holiday ) good sign, so had to wait as bar lady said thy were understaffed not a problem, ordered two Ham ploughmans oh dear!! Ham was ok but big chunk of crusty bread sadly not ( 2 slices that resembled Nimble Bread ) and the Salad was poor , Need to get basics correct , would have complained when paying bill but would of held up the queue, left dissapointed
Great food, very welcoming people, dog friendly. Well worth another visit.
Very good very friendly and home made food and real ales.
Nice homely country pub. Great draught beers, and food offering is good for a pub, if not Haute gastronomy.
Awesome food and service, very welcoming after a long walk
Superb lunch here today, proper home cooked food, nice friendly staff, welcoming pub.
Superb local beer - Ramsbury Gold; delicious fish cakes and sirloin; a wide aging and reasonably priced wine list. Worth a visit.
Great pub, freshly prepared food and good selection of ales.
This is an excellent pub. The food is delicious and the surroundings very pleasant indeed. We have had several very enjoyable lunches there. Sadly, today our lunch was marred by an incredibly noisy table and we were seated on a very cramped table right nearby. When I asked if we could be reseated, there was no other feasible alternative for my elderly mother than where we were seated. A quiet word with the noisy crowd from the landlord might have been a good idea in retrospect. If we do go back we will be sure to ask for a more secluded spot well away from the main area where larger parties are seated so that we are more likely to hear each other!
Love the food here and the amazing selection of beers, Ciders and Gin's.
I recommends the ribs :-)
First visit tonight but definitely will be back again for the excellent food welcoming staff and great atmosphere . A great village pub in a delightful pretty country village!
Lovely pub, great food, good service, lovely setting
Great atmosphere, helpful staff- good local sourced food on specials board. Dogs, children, locals, visitors and family groups. Everyone looked after really well.
Had a nice lunch here after a good walk. The waitress was brilliantly serving a while bar full of people.
Food was just about ok. Service was slow. Wouldnt go back in a hurry for food. Bar was nice though
Amazing find after a walk to Wilton Windmill. Chips were fabulous, kind and polite staff and dog friendly.
Floors dirty, table sticky. Called in on a Saturday early evening. Young staff behind the bar more interest in chatting with their friends and colleagues than serving.
Friendly staff and lovely pub atmosphere. The beast is also worthy of its name.
I stopped half way through a long cycle trip at The Swan. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the garden very pleasant.
Very good selection of beers and ciders. Good food.
Warm welcome very friendly including the dog. Good portions well cooked food. Loved the Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Had a wonderful meal at this pub good menu and very friendly staff would recommend it
Absolutely fantastic food, 2 young gentleman waiting on tables was lovely. Can not wait to visit again
Love this place. Staff are so friendly and Wilton village is just stunning. Food is delicious and they have various local beers and cider on rotation.
Warm, friendly village pub. Tasty menu of home cooked.
Restaurant pub. Food looks like it would be good but didn't have any. Great range of beers though, friendly staff and plenty of space inside.
Fantastic food ... fantastic staff ... lovely setting ..... thank you
We enjoyed a very good meal in a convivial atmosphere.
Fantastic food, welcoming staff and a good range of beers on offer.
Lovely atmosphere, accommodating service and good food.
Had a lovely meal recently here with some friends one evening. Cosy, warm village pub that does excellent food at reasonable prices.
A fantastic example of a great British pub. Fantastic service, great menu - really fabulous selection of vegetarian meals. Warm and cosy on an autumn day.
Take a walk to the Windmill, over to Bedwyn and back via Crofton and Wilton Water and have lunch. We did and it was an excellent day out.
Amazing the food was outstanding the establishment is very old and yet very welcoming. We will be back again that's a guarantee thank you to all the staff and the owner for your hospitality.
This pub is currently open as a convenient store offering premium food including local fruit and veg, meats and premium wine and ales. They also sell ice-cream which is also pretty damn tasty. A nice little asset to sweet little village. Big up
Really good food and service - worth the walk from the Kennett and Avon canal!!
Good atmosphere, friendly service can be a bit slow but good food is worth waiting for!
A hidden gem. Delicious selection of specials and traditional pub food and some great local ales to chose from. Staff are all lovely!
Great lunch! Vegan options were yummy and thought out. Was a very nice visit. Will be back!
Great food. Great service. Great venue. Very much recommended.
Brilliant. Lovely staff and food is amazing. Never dissatisfied.!
Marvellous friendly pub in delightful village. Great food and service.
Prime location in an attractive village. Took our booking at short notice, distancing arrangements good, food fresh and tasty. Had a pint of Bath Sales Gem, again this was very good. 2 other draught beers available. Prices for food and drink reasonable.
Good service from the staff. Pub is dog friendly, which is a bonus. Pub is in Wilton, bearish to Marlborough and Hungerford. Recommended!
What a lovely place! Staff brilliant and food amazing!! Highly recommend!
Cracking local country pub with for, colouring for kids and good seasonal grub
Found this place by accident as was heading to Marlborough until we discovered the road was shut.
Great pub, great food, great service. I m very picky about my burgers and pleased to say I wasn t disappointed. In fact was one of the best burgers I ve had recently. Homemade, which you can tell.
A point too about the service I want to mention .... there was no parking in the car park for my mum who was meeting us. I asked the member of staff behind the bar who was serving us where my mum could park. Instead of just pointing out where there may be places, our waitress came outside and kindly moved her car so my mum could have a space in the car park. Think her name was Olivia (that was the servers name on receipt anyway) - many thanks again.
Nearly 40 years ago, this was my local and always pleasure to pay a visit. Warm welcome and superb food.
