Got sat down at an outside table, the lady said she would be back to take our order, as table service only, but unfortunately after 10mins we still didnt see anyone. Pub wasnt busy so bit of a bad way to finish a lovely afternoon walk. 2 stars rather than 1 as i understand this happens

We live fairly locally so go to The Swan more often than other pubs. It's always very welcoming and the service from Bill and his team is excellent. The Swan has such a great atmosphere - you can't help but enjoy it. We've 3 meals there in the last month and all of them have been fabulous - really delicious food. Great for a group of friends or family as there are some larger tables. Dogs are very welcome.

Secluded place, was recommended to visit. Was not disappointed, lovely food, great beer, and a warm smiley welcome. Superb

What a great, friendly pub. Excellent real beers and lovely range of delicious food. The pub is set in a beautiful village with village pond and pretty, colourful gardens. A walk from the pub takes you to the canal passed the lake and onto the Crofton beam engine. All in all a great place to go.

Lovely little country pub with friendly staff and locals. The food is reasonably priced and very good quality. There is a very good range of ales and a board that tells you where they are from and how far they have travelled to get to the pub. Well worth a visit.

Very good food, one of the best canal-accessible pubs for food in the area, I think. Very good selection of very local, non-Wadworths, beer.

Very nice lunch,even had a celebrity in which was nice,nobody bothered her and we even had a chat when leaving. Birthday treat food lovely,staff really nice,nice atmosphere

A true village pub, offering a good selection of beers, great food and a friendly welcome. So glad that this is my local!

Stopped for a quick coffee, despite being fully booked for Sunday lunches they managed to seat us on an outside table, very friendly staff amazing menu, will return very soon for food!

The service started off well then deteriorated throughout the meal the food was very tasty but not much of it, my granddaughter had the children's meal but we had to ask for veg for her, we all had the Sunday roast, I couldn't tell you if the beef was nice or not as there was so little of it it and so thin you could see through it !! All in all could of called in the chip shop on the wayhome, left still hungry !!

Just ok. Good food, but really slow on getting it out to the table (an hour after ordering meals for 2).

Lovely food, really nice country pub interior, and as outstanding choice of ales and gins. Long one of our favourite Wiltshire pubs.

We had a nice lunch with friends, then a lovely walk and back to the pub for a drink.
We were able to park our cars at the pub too.. Friendly and welcoming.
