The Surgical Center For Excellence Review

This place was amazing. I could not ask for a better staff. Everyone was so friendly and made a point to stop and speak to the children as they sat and waited to go into what the called a balloon room. It was amazing.

Nurses & anesthesiologist did not listen to me, my husband or the doctor/surgeon as we explained our daughter needed anti nausea medication to prevent vomiting after surgery since she has a history of it. Doctor/surgeon approved medication at surgical consultation. They refused to give her anything for nausea post-op & refused to send a prescription to our pharmacy, as we lived 1 hour away. As a result our 5 year old ended up in the ER the night of her surgery from excessive vomiting with blood to ensure she wasn t bleeding out. (She had a tonsillectomy & was also suffering with croup & asthma.) It was the scariest day of our lives. No parent should have to go through this & no child should have to suffer more as they are trying to recover. I had a meeting with the head nurse & spoke to the Vice President of the clinics. They refused to take accountability for not properly treating our daughter. They claimed it could not have been predicted nor expected even though we expressed our concern beforehand & that this was their standard protocol . They ignored our phone calls & messages. I filed a complaint with the FL Dept. of Health. *Parents* please be aware! We don t want this happening to anyone else s innocent children!

Great facility, doctors, and nurses!
I reccomend this facility. Everyone was courteous and professional and everything was clean. The waiting room was comfortable as well. My 3 year old (who is very shy) was comfortable within 5 minutes of being called back. My son loved Brooke, he talked about her after we left. Dr. Weil did excellent dental work for my son. I didn't have any negative experiences while I was there with my son from 6:00 a.m.-9:30a.m. on 04/03/19.

Aweful!!!! I took my child there and they were rude as hell!!!! There were kids screaming and crying bc they were scared and my child was just sitting there talking normal and watching tv they told him to be quiet 4 times!!!!! He was not being loud at all and that was before he went into surgery. When he came out an older lady was probably the most rude nurse i have ever met she actually yelled at me for a toy i brought him to take him which was already okay through the staff the day before!!!!!!!! Overall they were the most rude, unethical staff i have ever encountered!

Rudest staff ever. There is no way in hell this place should be operating with a medical license. Incompetent doesn t even begin to describe this place. If you are looking for a house of horrors around Halloween then this is the place for you. If you are looking to be talked down to and degraded as if you are less than a human being then, yep you guessed it l, this is the place for you.
