Great food at good prices, with good service on a busy evening.

Great choice of beers ales lagers ciders and spirits

Had a lovely lunch in The Sun today, the staff were lovely too....
I will certainly be eating there again

Had a drink a couple of times even though it is busy still get served pretty quickly love it

Gorgeous room which was quiet considering it's in the city. Good range of fantastic beers especially the local ones. The hotel is owned by the nearby Lancaster brewery and offers their range. The breakfast was great as was the evening meal. Good quality pup food. Looking for an excuse to visit again.

Excellent staff, brilliant location, character filled rooms, tasty breakfast with a decent check out time & a competitive price. Bar has a great selection of local brews. Perfect place to stop if you're visiting lovely Lancaster. We've stayed a few times & I wouldn't try anywhere else

Absolutely love the Sun, it is the best bar in Lancaster, the staff are so great and the character of the place is fantastic!

Really cool bar! Got all the lovely Lancaster Brewery Ales and Ciders which are very enjoyable. The layout if pretty cool, with loads of interesting facts dotted about. The food is also really lovely. Definetly recommend it!

A nice cosy place to eat and drink, it is much much bigger than it actually appears from the outside, it also has a beer garden at the rear.

Lunch today was excellent. Service second to none. I had sea bass fillet with pea risotto and my husband had the coop chicken which looked amazing and he said tasted good too. Staff always pleasant and a pleasure to be served by. Well done Sun....lovely enjoyable lunch. Will be back soon.

Fine, but the food is rather disappointing for the price.

Beer is very good. The bar staff not so. Not that knowledgable about beer and I resent having to repeatedly asking for a pint to be a pint and not a short measure.

Beautiful hotel with moden, stylish and spotless rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wish I could have stayed another night. After a month traveling through Great Britain this was my favorite hotel and it was an outstanding value.

Very pleasant hotel room and very good staff. We didn't get to visit the bar but it looked lively when we walked through it. Even so, we couldn't hear any noise from the bar when we were in the bedroom.

Love our Saturday lunches here. Great food, good beers and good service. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Great value for money for a city hotel. Price includes breakfast which was yummy. We also had our evening meal here. The food was delicious. There is no lift so you would need to specify a lower floor is you struggle with stairs. Other than great stay, friendly staff and clean rooms.

Always stay here when I used to visit Lancaster, rooms are decent, meals are stunning, drink selection is fantastic. Good value for money and always recommended

We had a great room, which was surprisingly quiet, considering how close it was to the bar. The beer selection is fantastic and the food is really good, especially for lunch.

As a out off towner i thought The Sun a great place and friendly staff.
