A great bar if you can squeeze past all the people parked at the counter.

Fantastic atmosphere and variety of drinks. Never tried the food but heard it's good. I go here regularly.

Great little bar, good menu, great beers, not the cheapest but worth paying for.

Stayed her while on business, cozy rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast.

We had a party of 8 eating there. The restaurant is very nice, with a great selection of craft and local beers. The service was good and everyone enjoyed the meal EXCEPT the 2 of us who ordered the Sweet Potato Curry. The sweet potato and rice portions were tiny, served in a ramekin suitable for children's portions. The garlic roti bread almost broke one of my teeth as it was so tough. Everyone else enjoyed their meal and I have no complaints about the appetizers we had.

Been visiting for years, great breakfast, rooms clean and modern, good selection of real ale.

Eaten here many times, drank here many times and stayed over. Great place. Well run and great atmosphere.

Modernised busy pub. Only had a few beers so can't comment on food. Whilst there is a great we a great selection of ales, if you looking for Guinness, you best go elsewhere.

Nice hotel, staff pleasant and the food had a great homemade feel to it. The room was ok and perfectly clean, but wasn't especially mind blowing. Check in and check out very quick and easy. Great location for Lancaster city centre and very close to the ParkSafe car park.

This is one of my favourite Lancaster pubs. Plenty of seats and plenty of choice on tap too, and the food is generally great. Friends have stayed the night in the hotel and were impressed.

The sun Inn is a great pub to visit, with lots of different beers ! Trad beers and larger all on hand ,With plenty of seating inside and a heated out door beer garden you usually don't feel squeezed ! Staff also good

The Sun is okay as far as pubs go. It is pleasant enough to sit in. It's prices are quite high though, and, though I believe it is linked to the Lancaster Brewery, you can find Lancaster Brewery products cheaper in other pubs that are just as nice if not nicer to sit in throughout Lancaster. Just my opinion though, I know a few people who really like the Sun.

Upon entering the hotel (entrance via the bar during a busy period) it wasn't initially clear where the reception area was for chwxj in but once we found it staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and clean and bed very comfy. Appreciated that the in room hot drinks included hot chocolate. The complimentary breakfast was lovely. Great selection and very filling. Slight mix up with our breakfast order but the staff were very apologetic and quickly resolved. Great veggie options for breakfast too.

We always have a great meal here can't get enough and if it's a nice day you can sit out in the newly refurbished beer garden.
