Worst seafood I've ever ordered in my life.. Waiter is very friendly but he started to get upset after I wasnt satisfied with my food. The shrimp is peel it yourself and it extremly hard to peel the shrimp. They take extremly long time for the food to get delivered. The price of the food is outrageous. Please go downtown Duval and save yourself ..
The food and service was ok. We arrived at 4:45pm on a monday but there was no shark feeding at 5pm like the displays advertised. I ordered the "build your own steamer" and got 3 stone crab claws, the overall meal was not that big though because stone crab claws in general are little more than one mouthful.
If it is your first time trying stone crab claws however, do yourself a favor and order something else in addition to a claw if you want a bigger meal, it was my choice but i think the snow crab had much more meat for the same price.
If you are going there for a shark feeding and stone crab claws you might want to ask your server for more details to have a better experience.

It was good until the Fettuccine and pink shrimp. Manager offers something else, however, we decline. The owners took it upon themselves to comp our meal. Great food and great services and wonderful environment. Highly recommend.

This was a nice place with good service. Zunar, my server was on point and the stonecrab was pretty fresh. The claws actually came out before my bloody Mary did. They were pretty meaty and fresh almost like what I used to catch down in Cudjoe. They definitely got the side sauce right it's a spiced mustard with horseradish and it really compliments the claws. I have had some people tell me the claws are sweet but I dissagree entirely. That may be because I dont eat sugar or sweets so I would never associate the two. Stonecrab has more of a cross between artichoke and hearts of palm flavor. The natural iodine and iron in the crab gives it a little more of a tang flavor. The place was very clean and had a nice breeze. Price was market value for Key West so it can easily break into triple digits but you will enjoy it.
Good service quality food can be a little pricey especially the price for stone crab there are plenty of choices around key West but if you are stuck this is a good place to start
Went there after seeing it on food network in New York. Looked great on tv.
Different story though when you go there. Waitress was not very helpful and could barely describe the dishes we were ordering. I never seen smoked tuna salad on a seafood tower?
We ordered a bottle of wine but the waitress thought we wanted a carafe of wine. She finally understood after we insisted on the bottle. ( possible language barrier). But all in all pricing was fair.

The good: stone crab was delicious and tender. Service was good- they comp'ed me a chowder cause my crab was slow to come out.
The bad: everyone saying its $100 bucks for a measly pound of shell-on crab is right- and the servers WILL NOT warn you. Location is right beside the highway so not great outdoor seating.
Honestly if I hadn't been so shell shocked by the price I would have eaten here almost every night. It was right by the hotel. Every other seafood restaurant on the island i tried was as good and more reasonably priced.
The crab bucket was good but the fish was overcooked. The location was cool on the water. The waitress was not very friendly especially for the money spent on the meal for 6 people. We were seated outside and it was really hot. Although there were fans outside, it was ineffective against the heat and flys.
The best seafood place in key west. Me and my wife stayed in keywest at the gate for 7 days. this place had the best location and seafood. I ordered the surf & turf and my wife ordered the lobster steamer. Tasted amazingggg and we ended up taking half back to our hotel as it was too much. If only two of you are dining you will be seat right by the water which is a nice view to enjoy your dinner (you may have to ask your waiter for this though). Not sure what the people are complaining about but I believe they ordered the $30 plates. If you want real seafood you have to order from the steamer pots. Our meal cost $160 and it was great. We ate here again on our last day in key west.
The food was okay. Service was...eh. This was partially due to the wait staff wearing a face cover and a face shield, but also the attitude of our waitress. She just didn't seem to care to be there or even listen to our orders.

Great for seafood, not so good for omelettes. It was overcooked and dry. Rum punch was good. Staff, except for our waitress not very friendly or helpful. The setting was great though as were the wildlife on site: pelicans, dockside fish and sharks, and iguana.

Haven't been there in two years. The seafood and Key lime pie were still amazing! However, I was disappointed they took the crab cakes off the menu... they were the best!
Service was ok but way over priced for the quality of the food. My daughter got an Alfredo that was good but we all order the fish of the day and was NO taste at all. Drink was horrible couldn't drink and they still charged me $12 dollars for it plus the soda I got it.
Waiter did not write our order down and screwed up dinner. My buddy returned his plate since it was all wrong.
They rushed cooking the snapper and gave it to him undercooked.

Our server was a Venezuelan girl (forgot her name) but she was so sweet and very attentive. The food their was great too!
Horrible experience. My wife ordered a gin tonic. Asked waiter what kind of gin they had. He didn't know and had to go ask. Drink arrived, flat tonic, watery, no gin taste. Waiter took our order, came back 5 minutes later and asked us again what we had ordered. Then, we did not see our server for a least fifteen minutes. Other tables were served by other wait staff. Two parties near us that seated after us were finished with first course when we caught the attention of the hostess and asked about our server. She disappeared and returned with salads, explaining that our server was real busy with a table of 6. A couple of minutes later, while still eating our salad, our waiter arrived with our lobster and pushed it down on the table. The next time we saw him was bring the bill.
As for the food, the lobster was overlooked and chewy, the sides were nearly raw. Can't comment on appetizers or dessert, as they were never offered. Didn't know what the specials were either, as they were never offered.
Though neat set up in the atmosphere, the stoned crab fails in its food. After a dinner for two costing over $100. We had lobster tail that was cold, served with lukewarm fries, a fish and shrimp plate that was supposed to be the catch of the day, that they cut in perfect manufactured squares. Not to mention the freezer burned, and over cooked 6 piece coconut shrimp for an appetizer. Saw our waitress twice, to get our orders and give us the check. Other servers gave us our meal and came to take our plates away.
Long story short, take your money to a well reviewed restaurant, but don t eat here.
Ate crab there today paid heavily $65 for 5 claws. They were dry , old and possibly frozen. Told waitress and she brought us another claw of the same quality old and dry. Very expensive disappointment.
Good eats, nice atmosphere. A little pricey, but we're worth it. I had their baked red snapper dish. Very good.

What a great all around experience! Atmosphere, service, can't get seafood any more fresh. Cooked 2 perfection. While you're there check out the live lobster, fish swimming around, parrots, lizards, birds and tortoise! If you stay at Ibis Bay you can add swimming pool, ocean views and hammocks to that. We were in a small group so we tried a sampling of all the seafood dishes. All excellent. Key lime pie (of course) and a chocolate fudge type dessert that we all found amazing.

The waiter could use an attitude adjustment. Worst server I have ever dealt with in Florida and I been here for decades. The table was never cleaned and the hostess pointed to the table and ran off. The food is over priced and only because they are in Key West. First and last time I will visit this second rate restaurant
They even have options for people who are allergic so seafood and shellfish, and who don't eat meat. Nice!
I really wanted this place to be better. If this restaurant was decent I would stay at Ibis Bay all the time. The restaurant atmosphere is great! Open air, waterside dining. The staff was friendly. My complaint is the menu and the prices.. and well, the food. The dinner menu is skimmmmpy!! Not many options as all and everything was overpriced. The food is just ok at best. If The Stoned Crab was better, Ibis Bay would be great.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times while vacationing in Key West. Staff are super friendly, Dave, Luis and Ina to name a few. Food is good, prices arent cheap but worth it to us. You can see sharks, fish and exotic birds right from your table.
Awesome open air seafood restaurant. Seafood so fresh and the steamers delivered right to the table with your choice if fare. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
I expected a little something more lavish out of a 40 dollar pair of crab cakes. But hey at least the one beer I had was under 10 dollars!

OYSTER SHOT- is basically vodka with shrimp cocktail and a oyster in there, at first she did with ice and the second shot was not chilled, it would have been perfect if she had chilled the vodka but regardless the sheer fact that they TRIED and accommodated to us was pretty amazing and I appreciated it.
BAYLE`S TOP BANANA- it is a fairly large drink, it does look good and it comes with whipped cream and all, but the banana aspect of It is at a miss, the bayle`s liquor is such a distinct tasting item that it is difficult to have another taste over power it. perhaps some actual blended banana might help
OLD BAY CRAB LEGS- the presentation is very nice. the food came in a cute little pot, I was also impressed with the amount of food included in the serving of this meal. however I could not really taste the old bay, I wonder why, perhaps a little more should be added to the items after the cooking is done. but none the less the serving size was pretty nice.
KEY LIME PIE- this was one of the best key lime I have ever had, I do not love the sour taste of limes and lemons, I generally avoid it, but this pie was nice and sweet and still translated the excellence of a key lime pie.
overall this was a very very expensive place but I am not mad at it, the place is gorgeous the staff (specially MARTINA!) is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is not at all bad

This place has gotta be the best location in Key West just off US 1. Very attractive restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere, a lot of things to see as it is surrounded by water. The food is also great albeit a little pricey. Overall, still a must go if you are new to the area.

Atmosphere was decent and location was great. The food was awful. Cornbread was cold and tasted refrigerated. Butter was hard. The shrimp were terrible and way over cooked. Nothing tasted fresh. I'm sorry but not worth the time
Came down to the keys for my wife an I's honeymoon and we ate here first. The seafood tower was delicious and our waiter Matthew gave us a list of things to do and places to so big we couldn't even finish it. He made us feel welcome and again the tower was amazing. Thank you for making our stay great from beginning to end.
Would give zero stars but one is the minimum. Worst service ever. As locals we were pretty appalled. This place has really gone downhill in the past several years. Two people working behind the bar tonight very clueless.... we will prepare to eat our anniversary dinner there but we just couldn't get any service. But no worries because now we're at the Perry Hotel getting the most awesome service ever!
Came here with my husband on a Saturday night. Our drinks were good and the service was sort of attentive. The manager checked on us at the beginning of our meal and explained all the fish in our steamer meal. At the end of our meal we ordered a bottle of Moscato to go with our key lime pie. The pie was delicious but we ended up sitting there waiting for the waitress to open the bottle of wine for us. She didn't. She checked on us but just left the unopened bottle of wine sitting there while the table behind us had their glasses filled by their waiter. Training failure? We took the bottle back with us and it's sitting in our cooler. I think we could've paid a lot less at the drive through liquor store. Overall was going to rate it 5 stars because the food was good except the Mahi steamed with the rest of it, but went down to 3 for the weird Moscato incident.

I was with a party of 4 and we all had different meals. Everybody was really impressed with there Meals. The service was fantastic and very polite and happy server.

I like it so much I went back a couple of days later before I left Key West, unfortunately we ended up with the new waitress who was very nice and apologetic, she put the wrong order in not once, but twice and it took forever to get us our drinks.
Its pretty obvious the management needs to work on training the newer staff a little better.
They did not charge me for my meal and I get it some times things go wrong.
There aren't enough words to describe our horrible experience at this restaurant. We walked up and it wasn't busy at all. There were 2 hostesses at the stand and neither one looked at us for 5 five minutes. Five minutes we stood there completely ignored while they acted busy. A group of ELEVEN came up behind us and the hostess immediately walked up to them to check that group in. At this point I walked up to the other hostess and stated we'd been standing there for several minutes without being acknowledged and rather than apologizing for their rudeness, continued the awful experience by not looking at me and asking if we had a reservation. We were finally sat and after taking our drink order, our hostess didn't come back after 15 minutes of sitting there. My husband and I finally left and we've NEVER walked out of a restaurant. I felt sick doing it but I won't give my money to a place that makes me feel like I'm not welcomed. I left completely disgusted.
Service was terrible, we waited for over an hour and the waitress kept telling us our food was almost done, after about 30 min of this we got up to walk out, the waitress then stops us and says our food is ready and comes out with our food which is cold meaning it had been sitting for a while, what angers us is that there was a table next to us that came in after us and instantly got their food, several other people around us got up and left. Never eating here again.
Dont know what happened but the food quality has taken a nose dive and they had the worst key lime pie i have ever had in my life! Over priced for what you get
