Loved the outdoor Summer Stage!! Saw CAKE perform. Small food and drink booths surrounding the outdoor stage, easy to be served quickly. Indoor bathrooms and outdoor porto-johns. Indoor venue intimate and chill, offering 40 yrs of history on its walls. Drinks priced too high for their weak potency (at least at a major concert). Pregame at one of the many great restaurants nearby & bring ur vape instead! Nice beaches in Asbury Park, makes for a full day at the shore.

The 5 stars are for their sustainability for about 50 years. I did see Bruce (The Boss) back in the 80s when in college. I recently went again and nothing has changed but the summer stage. I even remembered where the bathrooms were. LoL There are different bars so it's not hard to get a drink. Lots of pictures of people and bands who played there. Enjoy the show

I dread coming to this venue. I only come here to see artists that aren't playing elsewhere. Awful set up when sold out means some people can't see stage.
Never honest about stage or door time. Show up 2 hours early to be a sardine in the middle of an uneven floor waiting for the show to start while they play lullabies. Sound equipment is worn out and mediocre sounding. Maybe because the room itself sucks. Cheap tacky looking guitars line the walls. Local artists tell me management is trashy.

I absolutely love this venue. This is my second time here and it's all because of these guys, King's X. They've been coming here and doing their shows for over 30+ years and I found it to be the type of place of music authenticity.

The outdoor venue was pretty good, drinks were cheap and strong. The indoor bathrooms are super cisnormative though. Just a word of caution to my fellow trans/nb folks, it is not safe to use the bathroom you identify with if you aren't *passing*, stick with the port-a-potties. Womp womp :/

Such a gem. The summer stage is great, but since it has such a big name, sometimes a big act will play in the bar over the winter and it is such an incredible experience. Plus the beach is across the street and asbury park is such a cool town

Great place, awesome atmosphere, only problem I felt was the fact the front stage was split, 90% for the above 21 and a small sliver of the stage to the under 21 crowd. Expensive drinks and crowded around the small bar

I love going here for concerts but you lose three stars for environmental reasons. I was not allowed to bring my reusable water bottle in. I've been to 50 concerts this year and you are the only venue that did not allow it. I have vowed to not use single use plastics so I will not return to a venue that will not let me hold that goal. Shame on you guys and for the sake of the environment you guys need to change that policy.

I love the Stone Pony. The history, the location, I just love it. However, that only applies to indoor shows. Outdoor shows are a pretty horrible experience. They really oversell tickets, so it is extremely cramped. I have been to 50+ shows, and it was by far the worst. Save your money and listen from the boardwalk, or rent a hotel and watch from the balcony!

Didn't actually go inside, but listened and watched from the boardwalk. They have great lineups and this revitalized asbury park music scene kicks arse. If the shows sold out, don't fret. You can still get great seats on the boardwalk or street.
