My friends and I waited nearly 2 hours to get in for a Trevor Hall show, after waiting in the cold weather and light rain, the security stated we were all at the wrong end of the venue. They told everyone to walk to the other outdoor entrance. We all lost our place in line. No clear direction and, rude staff. This is a standing only show, the last time I will go to the establishment!

My wife is a huge Springsteen fan,so when we visited Asbury Park we stopped in at the Stone Pony during the afternoon. The place is filled with nostalgia as you look at the walls filled with signed guitars of famous and not so famous musicians that got their start in this place. In the back area there is a section of pictures of Bruce, Clarence, and the other EStreet band members, along with the Greetings from Asbury Park picture from their first album. Even if you're not a fan, it's worth the visit. Next time we get to Asbury, we plan on getting tickets to see a venue playing.

Went to the summer stage to see Dark Star. Security viable, and respectful, allowing the audience to party on. Lots of open bars and plenty of walking space even with a full house. Really had a good time thank you

What's not to love? It's The Stone Pony, a New Jersey icon, synonymous with Asbury Park, the Jersey Shore, Jersey Rock Music and of course Bruuuuuce! Don't expect good eats or even the best drinks, just good old (and new) Jersey Rock and Glory Days.

Had an overall great experience here for punk rock bowling although they seem to stop serving alcohol towards the end of the shows. Not really a big deal for somebody who gets there early but more for the people that come late and plan on having a few.

Great place to see live music. Outdoor summer stage is set up perfectly. Outdoor vendors sell food and alcohol, or go inside and hang out at one of several bars. Nice indoor stage as well for smaller bands and winter shows.

It's a classic venue that any music lover had to experience. I've seen shows here for over thirty years. Indoor shows have been insanely hot and sweaty-- but that was a long time ago and they may have done something about that. The outdoor summer stage is epic and, in a way, it's own classic venue. I would never hesitate to see a band here.

The place of worship that every fan of the Boss should visit ... the furnishings are sparse but the photographs hanging on the walls show how important it has been, and still is, for several generations of artists ... a Must !!!

Yeah, I wanted to walk into rock music from some local band and people smoking pot around the edges of a dimly lit bar. The air thick with smoke.

I got "Tickets please" from the man at the door.
"For what?" I asked.
"We have woman's group today" he said.
I left.
