The Stables Theatre Ltd Review

Fantastic venue with brilliant acts. They treat you like an adult so you can take your drink (in a glass) into the auditorium. Lovely restaurant but you need to book early. I have booked our next visit.

A great venue, exciting artists, good food, friendly and efficient service.

Went to see Joe Brown in concert and had a meal first. Service was super, everyone friendly and efficient. Small really cosy venue. Highly recommend it.

The theatre and the wonderful BBC big and where as always- terrific .Please keep up the good work.

A great little theatre seating about 400 people you are up close to the entertainment with a good view from all sides. Drinks food and ice creams all at reasonable prices. A great night out

Excellent venue. I think we were in the second smaller theatre. Was perfect. Nice little cafe/bar. The only improvement I would suggest is a covered area for those who vape/smoke, but, outside is a great place to view the thunder and lightning show at the interval!

Over the years I have had the greatest pleasure of being entertained by my favourite singer/songwriters, and others, too many to mention.

It is a bonus factor about the Stables that you can get to meet, greet and get your CDs autographed.

I am greatly looking forward to normal evenings of wonderful and sublime music, that I enjoy so much.

Hoping that it is sooner, not later.

Great atmosphere, lovely venue, 600 seater so intimate and friendly staff who are mainly volunteers. The acts are very varied so there is something for everyone. There is a bar, restaurant and coffee\tea +snack counter as well. We go there a lot and would thoroughly recommend it.

Saw Joe Browm's 60th Anniversary Tour at The Stables this time. It was a great show in a brilliant small setting. There is not a bad seat in the house. Top class music every time. Friendly staff. Excellent bar and restaurant. Very popular place and a great demand on tickets for every thing they put on. Thoroughly recommend a visit and you will certainly always return.

Always a great venue to visit and everyone is friendly. My first time to stage 2, which is cosy and intimate and it was great being up and close to Rob Green who was playing there.

Lots of different genres of music here and occasionally comedians.

Went for the second time . Kathryn Tickell was superb. I am entering new musical waters at the Stables as I am a Classical musician but with encourage ment from a friend I am exploring new genre and the Stables is a great place to do so
The food is excellent top quality fish and chips! booking is easy and all staff helpful

What a good evening out seating was good and uninterupted viewing of the stage. Acoustics were good. After the performance a nice drink at the bar.

Lovely venue for an evening filled with beautiful music. It always feels so cosy and almost intimate. You are so close to the artists as if they were singing just for you

Great little venue, really friendly staff, plenty of parking and well priced bar/cafe. Very intimate auditorium, every seat has a good view and is heavily tiered so no heads blocking the view.

Small venue with an intimate setting. Over the past few years they've expanded their selection of gigs to include stand up comedy

Limited spaces in the auditorium and the close proximity of the performers creates a very real possibility for a wonderful atmosphere. Pick the right act and it can be a hugely enjoyable evening. So unlike the impersonal mega sheds like Wembley or the O2.

Good venue for bands with excellent sound and views from all parts of the auditorium. It's a bit formal with all the volunteers in uniforms and they really don't like you taking photos (they need to update that as many bands like good social media coverage). Bar gets busy before a gig but that's normal. The car parking can be muddy.

Lovely venue had great seats personally however looking around the venue i could see a seat that I would not have had a good view of stage from. Drinks we bought was also fairly reasonable price.

Nice venue, good prices for snacks and drinks. After 3hrs and seats were quite uncomfortable though!

First time visit to see Dillie Keane. A great intimate theatre. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Love love this venue ,every time I have been I have had such a wonderful evening .Great to be so close to the bands .And on two nights there I dance the night away .All the volunteers are so so helpful.Just a great venu Have meal before hand ,the whole evening just so well organised.love this venue

the venue is very nice. intimate even. but a strange mix of regulars. never ever seen dancing in the Isles no matter what is playing

Great venue in the 'middle of nowhere'.

Myself & my husband had a thought that The Stables was on the outskirts of Milton Keynes...not so! It is tucked down a single track road & a slightly winding driveway to the parking area.

We were situated in the auditorium part of the building, whilst a couple we met before the performance started, were in the older Stables section. You wouldn't know if we hadn't met this couple, that there was another event on!

All the venue staff were friendly, helpful & very obliging & the auditorium was very cosy, but held what appeared to be a decent quantity of people. It was a great first visit to The Stables & will hopefully not be the last.

This is a comfortable venue to see concerts in. The Steinway misses a little bit of the bottom end, but the quality of musicians coming through ensures you're going to see some great music. There's a comfortable place to sit and have food as well, if you're looking to make a bigger event of it!

Attended a film.We reckon there where 30 of us.Very well organised and safe.Love the spaces where seats have been taken out.Lets hope more to come including live music!

First visit last week and already planning many more trips!
Lovely atmosphere, great facilities. Beers especially good and staff very friendly and helpful.

Small concert halls are perfect for a more enjoyable night. As a charity I'm more than happy to keep putting money in their tills and you can sign up on amazon smile to support them too.

They offer everything from concerts and comedians to lessons in music and production, worth checking the website to see what's on.

Great venue. Good view and sound from any seat. Nicely compact and intimate. Varied line-up. Friendly staff, good choice of drinks.

Went to Rocketman at Movies on the Mound, and it was brilliant. Social distancing arrangements had been so thoroughly thought through and everything was seamless. All the relevant info was on the big screen and the food and drink service was really efficient (and tasty). Thank you!

New road layout a bit strange (most sat navs don't recognize it) but venue amazing with great social distancing set up. Staff happy and full of smiles. Will be back again in the future

Lovely Venue but found seating quite cramped and drinks a tad on the expensive side. Friendly bunch of peeps that work there and very helpful! Very clean

Amazing music venue. Eclectic range of acts appear here. The rooms are small and intimate with great acoustics and the performers often appear in the lobby to meet the audience and sign autographs and cds etc. they might be selling. I spoke to a guy the other night who drives there from 100 miles away a couple of times a month. I totally understand why.

Best venue ever always have a lovely evening and get to meet the act....

A fabulous venue that never disappoints.

The building is immaculately maintained, the sightlines and sound are first class. The staff are really welcoming from the box office and auditorium to the car park and bars, and the facilities are terrific - parking, bars etc.

Always worth tackling the M1 and round trip of 60+ miles!

You will have a fantastic time at the stables....the performances are brilliant. I've been to the stables on a number of occasions and always had a great time. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.

Lovely theatre with a great mix of genres in their brochure. Auditorium designed so all seats have a good view. Also has a nice cafe for light bites beforehand.

A wonderful venue for any musical event. The volunteers provide a great reception and help to make the special atmosphere.
