Good venue, friendly staff. The acoustics in the main theatre are excellent. Easy parking on site.

Very good venue, went to see Buddy Holly and The Crickets one of the best shows we have ever seen.

Sunday lunchtime jazz Paul Biggs Chris Ingham George Double and a great bassist whose name escapes - sorry but you did 3 great solos
What's not to like?!

Great staff, atmosphere, acoustics, and ambience. A must go to place. Keep an eye on gigs there.

Nice little place for music happening, good restaurant and bar. People were so friendly.

Nice intimate venue but still not small and with good views from any seats. Some of the staff are a bit slow serving drinks and snacks but prices aren't too bad. Toilets are clean and big enough for the interval demand.

Great place. Auditorium needs cooling. It was uncomfortably hot.

What a fabulous venue. I visited for the first time last night and already want to go again. You feel like you're going to the backend of beyond, but when you get there it's well organised, intimate and a relaxed place (even though it was a sellout show).

Lovely place to go for the evening. Lots of different people to see. Splendid venue!

Great music venue but the restaurant is a bit hit and miss!

Great gig location, if someone you like is on here definitely go. It's got a great intimate vibe.

Generally a really good venue and seen some great shows here but for a couple of shows, only managed to get tickets on the lower side 'wings', (once for a rock band, once for a comedian) and if you're parked down the sides then be aware, the sound quality in those seats is appalling - strongly recommend you avoid these seats.

I went here on a family outing to see Paul Zurden and the venue is kept very nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and are willing to help.

The chairs in the theatre itself are quite comfortable but if the show was any longer it may have become uncomfortable.

Would recommend going here for dinner or a show or even both.

Maddy Prior &The Carnival Band. An evening of carols and capers...an excellent intro to Christmas, beautifully performed, the Stables is a great venue.

Took my partner on her birthday, to see Willie & the Bandits last night & they didn't disappoint. Promoting the album 'Steal' & it was brilliant. The Stables offers an intimate (80seat) venue for those that want it close up. A real ale in a glass while you watch the band is so rare these days. Wishbone Ash on the main stage meant the place was rammed( so was the car park). From 8-45 till 11-30 we rocked !!! Worth every penny in this iconic venue

Very good performance by Oysterband. Great venue with good visibility of stage from theatre seating.

Too many tribute acts now, it would be nice to get some real acts on.

The leg room is not that great especially if you suffer with arthritis. I cannot sit on any of the balcony type seats due to this

Fantastic venue, run by great people. Seems to be a favourite with the acts that we've seen there, too.

Wonderful venue with great acoustics and lovely staff

Exceptionally good venue for wheelchair users. Top rate staff even meet and take you to your allocated space and will collect refreshments at the mid session break. You even get escorted to the foyer after the show and if required to a place in the merchandising area. Pre and after show drinks from the bar get taken to your table. The accessible toilets are a good size and clean the only negative is that they are not radar key entry, meaning that they are used by those who can't be bothered to wait or just want a closed room. A real downer if you have a weak bladder and need the facilities urgently. If not for this inconvenient "convenience" of score 10/10 but as I couldn't get to the toilet when I needed to 9/10.

I have been a volunteer here for over 10 years and this enables you to see the shows on when you are working. Great intimate venue wide variety of artists made many new friends...could you help and join us to keep this great treasure running?

Really liked this place because of the friendly helpful staff and you could take your drinks into a show and nip out at half time and again take your drinks into the show for the second half.

Just over 400 seats in the main auditorium, great place to able to watch a band if dancing isn't your thing.. Wide range of acts appear here so long may it continue.

Great little intimate venue. We saw Kim Wilde acoustic Christmas set, brilliant all the way. Plenty of parking at the venue. Bar prices not a rip off which is a lovely change. Decent staff. Thanks to all and Happy Christmas

Absolutely nothing to fault in any way. Saw new Lion King at half-term. Plentiful parking, lovely clean, bright venue with all necessary amenities. Would recommend to anyone and hope to go again when in the area. Ideal for all age groups and disabled.

Would like to say what a fabulous night we had on Friday. Nick Heyward and his band were just awesome.
The disappointment,and reason I have given 4 stars.. no photos were allowed! Gutted. We were so close and just wanted to document the experience..had waited many years for this..
Luckily got to meet him at the end.

Cracking little theatre, nice experience with lots of staff and good parking.

The Stables is a really nice venue and events are well organized. It's easy to get to if you're travelling by car but if you're using public transport then I would imagine it becomes quite tricky.

An excellent venue, especially if you like the close up intimate shows with a great view from any seat. Extremely well run & first class staff. Always a great night out, thank you.

Ive been here a few times, its a great evening, nice small rooms so you can see the acts! I would highly recommend and will happily come back to watch any future shows.

It's a small venue but have some great shows on. We'll worth a visit.

Always great night at this gem of a venue. Fab staff, great volunteers who helped my husband in a wheelchair to the lift and then to our seats. Brilliant.

Saw tbe Strawbs. This is a great venue for folk music etc.

Lovely venue if a bit small. The acoustics were really nice should you want to see any bands live, but I'd be careful as the leg-room was tight.

Great venue - you need to book a table if you want to eat though! We went to see Around the World in 80 Days. Brilliant in this small and cosy theatre.
