The Regis is a phenomenal hotel and holiday experience. From the beginning of the experience with the doormen to the front desk and the details of each step is such a phenomenal way to treat their clients/ customers. You won't find better service, cleaner rooms and a better location. New York is incredible in the winter months.

Old money

Old money
This is a decidedly unhip hotel seemingly favored by the older generations. The rooms are quite small and I feel somewhat awkward interfacing with the pubic areas such as the lobby. It is near a lot of stuff so that is good.

We spent more than one hour before the waiter stop by and noticed our birthday party. 20 minutes later we got bread. No food been served almos for 2 hours. Horrible way to celebrate a birthday. The food was unremarkable. The price tag was unexpected. For each $58 meal and wine we paid $50 for weak tea and SERVICE!!!!

Was a guest at a special occasion and one of their ballrooms it was Exquisite the food was fantastic the lobby the service and I can only assume that the rooms are top-notch really nice in the center of Manhattan but it must be not that I stayed in the rooms but it must be expensive to stay overnight but if you're looking for a real nice expensive place in Manhattan to hang up your shingle for a couple of nights you can't beat this place the st. Regis

An average of 5500 riyals per night
$ 1500 per night

Corporate code users beware. They don't accept badges or business cards at check in to verify, rather, they require you to email them. So, if you're traveling without access to your work email, they deny you or ask to pay the full rate which is often 2x as expensive. Just an awful customer service experience. This is a new rule as of two weeks ago, the front desk claims, that you can't use business cards to verify your place of work.

Room was like a basement with one window the size of a breadbox and looking at a brick wall. Check-in desk staffed with one person while bellmen and concierge desks were over staffed. It s just not worth the spend any more - service is all they had and that s no longer present or consistent. The hotels are outdated vs lower price and better quality options even in the same hotel family.

Definitely a property I will be staying at again. It went above and beyond on my expectations.

The location makes it easy too get to several top restaurants and outstanding shopping. Can easily walk to Central Park but honestly for those that have visited New York, I found it hard to even want to leave the property.

I had the opportunity to experience in room dining, have dinner at the restaurant and visit the Old King Cole Bar.

While I have visited New York City several times staying at this property you quickly tell that it s a frequent of locals also.

A beautiful Hotel in a great part of New York. The front office staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help, rooms are modern in decor and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the servers during our stay that we experienced seemed unhappy to be there, this was across both the bar and restaurants. Olivia and Michelle in the other hand we re both fantastic, full of personality and made our time I m both restaurant and the bar memorable. The Sabre experience can t be missed! Overall a great stay.!

They had a terrible scheduling system. Was part of an organization that had an event there for a fundraiser. We got there an hour before my event to set up, but we weren't able to get into the event room/hall because there was a corporate meeting taking place. By the time the hotel staff finish cleaning the space and teardown, we didn't begin setup until 30 minutes before the start of our event. Then, we already had our guests trickling in.

Beautiful Baroque Palace- like Hotel.

Beautiful Baroque Palace- like Hotel.
On certain days, they offer complimentary Veuve Clicquot champagne. Take a lot of money with you..
One tequila cocktail costs $34.90, not including tip.. I will never go there again.

Great location close to avenue of America s and a short stroll from Central Park. Lobby lounge is a bit small, but lovely spot for coffee and drinks with a view of the cathedral. Service, suites and quality are five star.

Beautiful hotel but after spending a ton of money to stay there was not thrilled to get hit with $68 laundry fee for having 4 shirts pressed when I was under the impression that you get 2 shirts/day were pressed complimentary (getting shirts pressed at laundromate around the corner is about $2/each for reference). They were nice enough to room one of the $34 charges ($17/shirt...) when I called to inquire but should have dropped both $34 in my opinion after the amount of money I spent. Room service food is also absurdly overpriced IMO ($40+ for some medicore rigatoni is high way robbery). They lost a customer after this.

Luxury hotel brand in SPG group, although now part of Marriott group. The staffs are very helpful and friendly, I was upgraded to St. Regis suite, which is fantastic and the pictures are self explanatory, classy and comfortable. The butler service is awesome, very attentive and thoughtful. A very memorable experience in NYC, will definitely come back again.

True 5 stars. Beautiful, modern rooms with latest technology meets old grandeur and classic style. Excellent service. Rooms are all modern, great beds, softest linen you can find. Water, fruit, chocolate get magically refilled within hours. Even the smallest room (superior) is around 400sqft. As good as it gets when you look for a mid town location. Stayed at the Plaza Athenee the night before and this feels like an entirely different universe.
