The room was beautiful, spacious and inviting. We could hear some great Sunday afternoon music from a live band at a pub across the street. The staff were patient, and accommodating.

Hotel is old and rundown. Toilet has been running since I got here. Opened the curtains in the presidential sweet and the entire rod fell down. Customer service is non existent. Embarrassing for my wedding party. Would not recommend.
Great place with awesome food service & very cooperative staffs. Over all excellent service.
The hotel is charming and elegant beyond measure, but the staff were my favorite part. Henry always greeted us with a smile under his mask. Sergio serving drinks in the lobby was a delight. And the bellhops Peter and Matt were always on top of their game. The pool had a beautiful backdrop, but did get pretty rowdy on the weekend. I strongly suggest hitting the upper deck terrace at sunset for drinks and live music on the weekend.
This Five-Star review is particularly given to Ms. Mandy, the supervisor of the hotel front desk. She is a very nice, professional, considerate lady. Although there were some issues during my stay, she took well care of my case and made me feel being respected. I personally think it is a great honor for the hotel having such a great staff. Hope the hotel can keep improving and make great success.
Make sure to use . when booking your stay. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be let down.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Friendly professional staff! Was there for a conference and was treated first-class through the entire meeting. The food provided for the event was great as well. The peanut butter cookies are freakin ridiculous!
Some guest smoking weed at the pool area while i had my kids and babies. I wish the staff will be more careful with the activities of their guests in public areas. Other than that we received great customer service and beautiful remodeled hotel with fantastic decor. Definitely coming back and looking forward to enjoy our stay without any issues at the pool area!
Amazing room, good room service options, and accommodating staff. The valets seem to have to park the cars 3 miles away, so call ahead to give them some extra time, but they are all so helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
The hotel itself is a cool, historic building with a lot of character. It is located near the riverwalk and convenient to restaurants. The on-site bar/restaurant are good and not too overpriced. That's where the good stops.
It's dirty. From the time you walk in the door, baseboards, walls, everything - dirty. When we got to the room, it had been prepared, but there were dirty cups, cup rings on the tables and some type of a fluid stain on the chaise.
It's located in an area where homeless people congregate (the park across the street), so it's uncomfortable walking near the hotel after dark.
The parking is among the most expensive of any hotel I've been to ($45 a night), so if you plan to have car, keep that in mind.
It wasn't the worst hotel experience I've had, but I wouldn't come back.
If you want to feel like a rich Texan at the turn of the 1900's this the place to be. Everything about this place is very nice. Even the old tile that has cracks and chips is stunning. It feels elegant and well kept. The rooms are small but furnished nicely and extremely clean.
