Hard to find parking lot entrance. Then if you make the wrong true. You'll end up in dead ends in parking. Back track. Then you will find main road to valet or self parking. 4 Level of parking. Very hard to find disabled parking not mark clear. Some people not disabled park. Then short walk to elevator down to casino floor. Now be sure to look at the wall map. Very clear and great lay out. The restaurant and smaller ones great price. The casino floor cover a lot. 5x foot ball field end zone to end zone. Great lay out. Wide isles. Very well lite. Very clear cool. Thus is a very true horse person dream. They hold rodeo events. Now the cost is $$

This was an Airline paid layover hotel. Friendly guest check in experience after hours of airport delays and shuffle. Clean hotel rooms and great food choices. Overall positive experience. Recommended. Be sure to ask for coupon "fun book" when checking in.

I stayed at the adjacent sister property, the Grandview, for a week on a family vacation and visited the South Point restaurants and casino every day. This is a great place! It has all the amenities of the larger hotels on the strip but without the premier price tag. The casino was buzzing late every night of the week and hah several $5 tables. Plenty of bars, entertainment, shows, cocktails. Craps lessons were fun and helped me win. We are at the breakfast buffet, Japanese restaurant, steak and shake...all clean, good food, inexpensive and efficient. A well managed resort overall.

Great resort! Very affordable. The establishment was very clean. Everything you may need or want to do is under one roof from Restaurants, to diners, bowling alley, and movie theater. We come here every June and will continue coming.

My parents came to town to visit and they stayed at the South Point. I live near by and frequently go, but I didn't know that the rodeo was in town. It was crowded, but the lines for everything were relatively short. My parents' room was clean and quiet. We ate at Primarily Prime Rib and it was delicious!

Really nice place. Has Bingo along with all the other gambling. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Nice being out away from the strip but close enough of you want to go there.

This place was great! The rooms were very spacious and clean! The beds were actually queen size and not full! I hate when hotels say beds are queen and you get there and they are tiny full size beds, don t you?! They are NOT the same! The rooms are far enough from the casino and the casino/hotel itself is far enough from the strip so you don t have to feel crowded or overwhelmed with other casinos, etc. There is valet parking and self parking available all around. The location is good and the price was right.

I have been coming to South Point for five years on my summer vacation, but this is the last time I m going. Customer service is the worst one I have seen so far.
As my son got hit by a football on his face in the pool area as two adult male were playing football in the pool from one side too the other side of the pool.
Employees did not do anything about the situation, but when you jump in the pool, they blow out there whistle, and tell you to stop. Then when you go to the jacuzzi area with your child, they tell people to get there child out unless there sixteen or older. Funny thing about the sign is that there is another sign that says 10 or older, unless with parent can enter the jacuzzi area. There is another rule that says no splashing, but you have two adults playing football with kids in the pool, splashing people faces, and getting hit by the ball, and no employee says anything and other parents just left the pool area. I had to call security from my cellphone and then came down. They asked the two guys to stop playing after it was radio to the lifeguard. So they decided to leave the pool area. Security came to see me and they saw the red mark on my son face. They did not have the courtesy of saying sorry or do you need medical attention or write a report. Room were not clean like other visits. Employees attitudes did not make you fill welcome at all.

Southpoint is a great hotel, usually cheap, but with excellent service. From dining to rooming, bingo nights and bowling, as a local I love coming here for dinner and drinks. There's something for everyone away from the crowds downtown.

Wide Open and Clean. Great but easy Covid procedures in place as well. Room was clean and sanitized. (Bumped into "Ghost Buster" like Room Sanitizer Guy every day!)

Cafe was delicious and safe.

This casino is an off-strip gem. Friendly staff, fun games, and an inviting atmosphere. There are also numerous places to eat with tastes for everyone: sit down restaurants (with very reasonable prices), a hot dog stand, an oyster bar, as well as deli and fast food type places... and even ice cream. Very highly recommend; we will visit again.

Can't book a suite online or check prices. You have to call. But, they do have one and two bedroom suites. Singles are kings and the second bedroom are queens.
Each room is about 500Sq.
Didn't stay yet, just trying to book a room.

Location is good just being a few miles away from the strip. The hotel has all of the accommodations you need including a full movie theater along with multiple restaurants pool excetera.it's really nice to have free parking compared to most of the other casinos and now charge you a ridiculous amount. I've stayed multiple times and will continue to stay here again.

This is a great hotel for what it is. Don't come to Vegas and stay here because it's a cheaper option than the strip unless you have a car and are planning on it. Pretty much everything is available on site. There is a bowling alley, a spa and a barber shop, plenty of gambling, lots of equestrian goods and events, and tons of food options. This is not close to the strip but it doesn't claim to be. The rooms are nicely appointed, fairly comfortable, and the bathrooms are great. More on that, the shower pressure is fantastic and one of the best I've had in Vegas. Would recommend if you were coming here for events, wanted a more local experience with less expensive table minimums, or were planning on driving.

This casino still allows indoor smoking, which is not family friendly. I only gave it the 2 stars because of the service we received at the cafe we ate at. The food was okay, but the smoking killed my taste buds.

There's a great vibe around South Point. You get the Vegas thrill but in a chill environment. The rooms are spacious with commode/shower separate from vanity; that's always a plus in my book. The spa services are superb. You won't be sorry visiting. This was not our first stay and definitely won't be our last.

I live down the street and we go here too the buffet a few times a year. They treat their veterans very well at Southpoint. Free buffet on veterans day and memorial day, for the vet and a guest.

Was staying at the Grandview next door for my honeymoon. The wife and I frequented the South Point throughout the duration of our trip. The buffet was great and the service was just as good. They also had a wide selection of slots which we mostly stuck to. The theater is also a great addition. Large seats and only 5$ on Mondays. Would 100% come back again 5/5

Good local's casino. Love the movie theater and Steak&Shake on premises. The PrimeRib restaurant and Steakhouse are both really good too. I'm not much of a gambler, so I can't comment on the gaming. Plenty of parking. I've never stayed at the hotel so no review there.

For as nice as this hotel is, the walls are ridiculously thin! I was woken up 5+ times during the night and once it was just from someone talking in the room next door. I m not even close to being a light sleeper. If you are a light sleeper or value your sleep, stay somewhere else.

I'm a tough critic typically. I have stayed here twice for out of town business and both time have had an enjoyable experience. Little way from the action of Vegas (the strip) ,but no trouble staying entertained for the typical 4-5 day experience.

This is a great casino to play at. I had a blast at the craps tables, however the 1/2 no limit poker game was pretty wack, seems like a lot of tight locals play here. They have great midnight specials at the Cafe like steak and eggs for $5. If you need your last gambling fix on your way south when leaving Vegas, stop by the South Point

Great hotel in a great location!! Neighbors told us about South Point, so we gave it a try; now we just keep going back. If you're traveling from California, it's about 25 minutes past Primm Valley and 15-25 minutes from the main drag/Fremont Street. Beat the traffic--Stop here; it has it all. Nice rooms; great casino; several restaurants; movie theatre; lovely spa; Seattle's Best coffee; and a bowling alley...One stop fun spot!!

Good place to go if you have a family, since there is lots to do.

Downfalls? It's a little far from the strip, so you can't walk.

Ups? There is a bowling alley, theatre, some shopping for the families. If traveling alone, the casino is clean & inviting. The buffet there is not bad, too!

Lots of Vegas locals come this casino, as it's close to the residential area

Very nice hotel and casino! Considerably cheaper pricing and very spacious rooms. Ours had wood flooring!!

The Casino was massive! And many games! Most (we found) were for 5$! Even the Craps tables!

Would stay again!

We really enjoyed the South Point. We feel that we got a good value for our money on the room. The restaurants are reasonably priced and turn out excellent food. If you are looking for a non pretentious place to stay the South Point is perfect.

The room was clean and we liked the on site steak and shake. However, the room was really warm. We put the AC on blast and the room temp only went down 3 degrees the whole time we were there. However it is a really good value for the price. We stopped there last minute when we were tired on a long road trip and needed to stop and sleep and it served it's purpose.
