Taipei's time-honored five-star hotel is still in good condition and elegant in style. Required facilities: restaurants, bars, gyms, swimming pools and saunas. 1 minute walk from Family Mart, 7-11 convenience store, MOS Burger, Starbucks, the bus stop at the door of the hotel, about 7 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station Zhongshan Junior High Station, not too far, and there are pedestrian paths along the road D. The road in good condition. This time I booked a room with Booking.com, and the price was less than 2500 including tax per night. This room rate is excellent value for money.
This classic five-star hotel in Taipei for decades is still kept in an appropriate condition, and conveniently located near MRT brown line Zhongshan Junior High School station(about 7 minutes by walk). The room is clean and the bed is very comfy. The amenities are sufficient, including restaurants, bar, gym, indoor pool and sauna.

The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was also delicious.

I use this when I come with my parents because the room is large.

I was very pleased with the Sherwood. The pillows were rather soft, but that's my only criticism. The free smartphone / portable WiFi hot spot for guests is a brilliant idea, especially for foreign guests.

Great place, convenient to some excellent food and transport to anywhere in Taipei. Service was great and they provide facilities to freshen up, baggage storage and access to pool and gym etc in the event your check out time preceeds your flight or transport time.

Decently quiet, but the brunch took a while to appear

Everything was great while we stayed, we asked for corner room and some to be prepared before we checked-in and they really take note on our request! Corner room was very spacious. The other thing that's important to us is the shower in the bathroom, we love it! They had upgrade the toilet seat into the smart one as well.
The only thing that is lack about this hotel is the location, which is quite far from the MRT Station.

You can check in early in the morning. We arrived around 9:00, but room was ready and was in a state to put in immediately.

Perhaps due to the preferential plan, Xihua did not reach the star rating. The quilt in the room was damp, and the room was changed after several reactions. Early in the morning, the air conditioner in the room smelled of heavy solvent, and it could only escape to the swimming pool but was full. The counter didn't answer the phone, you can check out and respond to the counter as soon as possible. The lady said she knew the matter and was sorry (just like that). She still felt uncomfortable when she got home.

The building very close to the airport is a bit old but the room is very large. The staff's response is very quick and helpful. However, it was too early and I was shocked that I was cleaning my room while I was going to breakfast

Staffs were very helpful and friendly and service overall was excellent (just like all sherwood hotels) though the beds were incredibly small compared to the size of the rooms. The bedding was also uncomfortable. The room however, was incredibly spacious.
