The restaurant was beautiful and the food was good I just didn't love what I ordered. My only complaint is that the 2 top tables in the bar area are way too long. My date and I really had to lean in to even hear each other talk and we had a reservation. The service was great and everyone was very friendly!

Had a fantastic dinner here. The small bites and drinks were fantastic. Justin is the man and provided great service. Ask for him when you come!

The Second Glass sets a new bar. Amazing attention to detail in every facet of the experience. The wine, beer and cocktail selection is phenomenal. The food is creatively delicious, and the ambiance feels fresh and comortable It just tall ties together for something very unique. Totally recommend for an after work field trip or weekend night out.

Dining al fresco at it's finest. The Second Glass offers one extensive menu. I enjoyed a fantastic Sauvignon Blanc and we ordered the duck fat potatoes, which are amazing. The service was wonderful, had a great spot at their outdoor bar and appreciated all of our servers recommendations.

We were back at Second Glass once again this past Sunday, this time bringing 6 of our closest friends with us.

As is typical with me, I dive right in to the food served and forget about taking photos. Oh well. We're there to eat and enjoy our friends company first and foremost!

Once again, great service (thank you Justin), and great food. None of our friends had ever been there before and so glad to hear them all rave about the food.

We'll of course be back, and we know that they will be as well.

My wife and i recently had dinner with 4 of our good friends. This was the third time we have experienced The Second Glass and like the two other times, we were not disappointed. The owner Alisa, ensures that your dining experience is second to none, by stopping by the table, during the dining experience ensuring that the food is great (we have never been disappointed, fresh from the farms and always prepared perfectly) and that the service is impeccable. If not she corrects the problem immediately. We recommend The Second Glass to all of our friends and we look forward to visiting soon!!!!!

We just had the most wonderful experience at The Second Glass. We have been very apprehensive about eating at any establishment, even outdoors, due to COVID. We initially placed a take-out order and arrived to pickup our food. There was a little bit of a delay, and to make up for it the manager offered a couple of complimentary drinks while we waited. I told her we were hesitant to take our masks off, and she responded with such understanding. She showed us a table she had set up outside that was probably a good 12 feet or more from anyone else. She shared about their sanitation protocols and made us feel very safe and comfortable. So comfortable in fact that we decided to enjoy our food at the table rather than to-go. The food was incredible! As vegans, it can be hard sometimes to find options at fine dining restaurants. We enjoyed the mushroom pate, the vegan meatballs, and the vegan beet pistachio ravioli. She told us that they were also working on a vegan dessert to add to the menu soon. They went above and beyond to make our first experience dining out since February a truly wonderful and memorable one. Thank you Second Glass!

Really great spot. The food is incredible. Half price nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays make for an awesome date night.

Every time I've gone to Second Glass the staff is also super friendly. They always have good recommendations. The wine is always great. The tapas are very yummy. I love this area of downtown. They have a nice outdoor area to sit. The inside is nicely decorated making for a relaxing vibe. Will definitely be back again.

Wow!!! Tried this place Friday night with friends and was blown away. The vibe is NY Soho in a very cool part of town we had not discovered. Owner set us up with an outside table and what a treat. The wine list is a POWER ensemble and the manager Michael really knows his stuff. I had the she-crab soup and fried chicken with the mac-n-cheese. Did not disappoint. We will be back and can't wait to show more friends!!!

Justin I think is his name? Best server ever. Can t wait to come back some time to try their dining menu. We came for wine and it was such a good time. Their option for half pours is incredible for trying different wines. Absolutely loved this place and I need to go back soon!

The Second Glass is a great addition to the Wilmington, N.C food scene. Fantastic wines by the glass, 2010 Pas de L' Ane Grand Cru a personal favorite, and extensive selection by the bottle. Lovely small tapa's style bites and savory large entree shared plates. Signature cocktails are also not to be missed, quite delicious! Cannot wait to see what events they plan, as I am sure they will be amazing!

My first time at The Second Glass was absolutely amazing! The food was phenomenal and the service was on point. The drinks were beautifully made and tasted delicioso! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if you love brunch check out their brunch menu, everything on it sounded SO good! I had french toast with bourbon apples which was totally yummy, while the company that was with me got the quiche and the BLT. They both said their dishes were delectable! I will definitely be going back!

My husband and I visited The Second Glass a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our experience. We called ahead around 7 PM to place a reservation for outdoor seating. The woman we spoke with on the phone went out of her way to ensure they would have a table ready. When we arrived, we were seated right away at a quaint table outside. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations for both red and white wines. Their wine list is extensive and have so many options, I'm certain there's a wine for everyone here. We also had the mushroom pate, okra, and assorted cheeses and meats; all of the food was delicious, especially the brie that comes with the cheese boards. If you're looking for a nice evening out, I definitely recommend The Second Glass!

A fabulous birthday dinner @thesecondglasswinebar. Love good wine and good food in a relaxing atmosphere. Started with warm olives and deviled eggs with trout roe.....delicious. We then moved on to beef tartare with egg yolk. It was silky and flavorful. Next was sweet potato gnocchi, omg the flavor with roasted brussel sprouts and mushrooms. Best dish of the night. Finished(well we thought) with mussels with fennel and bacon. We could have used a loaf of bread to sop up the sauce. They then surprised me with a chocolate torte for my birthday. It was rich, fudgy and perfect match with the wine. Fabulous place and highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Our server was Caroline and she was awesome! You won't be disappointed.
