A fabulous birthday dinner @thesecondglasswinebar. Love good wine and good food in a relaxing atmosphere. Started with warm olives and deviled eggs with trout roe.....delicious. We then moved on to beef tartare with egg yolk. It was silky and flavorful. Next was sweet potato gnocchi, omg the flavor with roasted brussel sprouts and mushrooms. Best dish of the night. Finished(well we thought) with mussels with fennel and bacon. We could have used a loaf of bread to sop up the sauce. They then surprised me with a chocolate torte for my birthday. It was rich, fudgy and perfect match with the wine. Fabulous place and highly recommended.
