Beautiful venue. They have since redone it since hurricane Sandy and it's very nice. It's also large for a big crowd.

Very nice beach with cabana's but the lobby/indoor area, feel a bit tacky and out dated. Apparently it was severely impacted by hurricane sandy, but it appears to not have been restored to it's former glory. Although a private club, it still seems to get crowded here. Being very close to NYC is a plus too.

I have been a member of the club for the past four years and I cannot say enough about how enjoyable it has been. The staff from the front desk right down to the maintenance people are friendly, focused on the members needs and extremely hard working. I feel that my family is always comfortable and well taken care of. The food is excellent and the whole club is spotless at all times.

Also the day camp is so well run. The staff is friendly and work so well with the children. They truly like them and it's so evident. What I like best about the camp is the kid's are highly visible at all times and always look happy.

This place had the worst manager I ever came in contact with. His name is Junior, and he gave us issues from start to first. He does not know how to have simple dialogue with anyone, using sarcasm heavily. He called myself and other members apart of my team stupid, which is completely unacceptable.We felt like we did not belong there during the whole duration of the day.Do not take your business here, it will not be worth it.

Great place, lots of parking. Food is delicious and plentiful. All the help are super polite and can't do enough for you. Had a wonderful time At the wedding.

I cannot even think on where to begin on how to express my experience and appreciate to the staff at the Sands of Atlantic Beach. My husband and I found out five weeks before our wedding was supposed to take place that the catering hall shut their doors, and all of our money was gone. I was in such panic that 5 weeks to our wedding we would not be able to find another venue with our date open as well as being able to afford paying for another venue. My hopes and dreams had started to fall apart until Stu and Lori at the Sands of Atlantic Beach contacted me after seeing my father and I along with other brides on the news the night before.

The staff at the Sands are such goodhearted, kind and caring individuals. They held our wedding within just a few weeks without question. They did everything in their power to accommodate us with every want and need. Stu, Lori and their team are people we want to honor for all the help, hard work and dedication they provided to my husband and I during the preparation of our wedding all the way up until our wedding day. The setup, decor and food was AMAZING, we wouldnt change a thing. Steve and I are still receiving compliments from our family and friends five months later!

Pleasant, updated decor. The caterer was Meisner's unfortunately. Extremely inconsistent, unprofessional food. This caterer doesn't care whatsover about the safety of the food or about the guests. Avoid this caterer completely.

A beautiful place for a reception formal dining cocktail hours. Capable of holding large parties.

My daughter got married this past Saturday and everything was simply wonderful. First class service, setting, food and drinks. The beach was set up beautifully which made their sunset wedding picture perfect.

Parking is expensive and tight. The facility seems to be stuck in the 1960s.

Beautiful Beach Club. Amazing place. Would love to visit again. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean sand, clean Beach. Has a pool (wasn't open when I went) clean bathrooms. Beautiful overall. I enjoyed myself. My company had a cook out there. Was so much fun!

A great place for any occasion/celebration. The kosher catering is top notch. I just wish the stairs were not such a tripping hazard or have optical illusion to it.

Really, really nice as a wedding hall. They always do a nice job. Dance floor is a little small for 500 person plus weddings.

Really nice wedding venue. Parking was tight but many spaces and a short walk! aright near the beach and in a quaint town makes this location perfect.

We just had my daughter's sweet 16 there and it was absolutely amazing. Lori (manager) was fabulous and went so above and beyond to make the night a success AND the food was delicious! It was THE perfect place for our celebration. The kids loved the nightclub feel and the adults were quite comfortable in their own personal space. I can't say enough about our experience at Sands Atlantic Beach. Five stars plus!!

Came for a women's conference. Nice venue. Friendly staff. Decent buffet. It was too cold for bathing suits but we were able to walk on the beach which is beautiful. Would return.

The most fun, beautiful huge beach, like carribbean, very clean, great camp for the kids, wonderful social scene.

I am so disappointed my wedding was last week I am so sad the photography didn't took not even 10 nice pictures they don't have prepare for the toast on the tables they don't have the glasses Champagne DJ don't play the music I told to play poorly organized the only thing was very good was the food

Attended a wedding. It was good. The setting was beautiful.

A beautiful conference place.
Ample parking.
Clean and tidy with high level services.
The event itself was with a professional team and with a very high standard meal.
The conference hall is built right with three screens and high quality stonage.
There is a lift for the handicapped and all is properly accessible.
The merger works perfectly.
Annoying only to pay $ 2 on entry to Atlantic Beach.
Have a good and successful event.

Horrible horrible venue !!! The manager Junior is a nasty person with a nasty attitude. I hope his smart alic attitude comes back full force at him. They don t know how to treat their guests.

Can't say enough about this place. They just renovate every room in the building and the exterior was renovated after hurricane Sandy. Amazing food and a very attractive management team.

Nice Spacious Hall...sad they blocked off the view to their biggest asset... the beautiful Atlantic Ocean just footsteps away.

Romantic place for a wedding. Large and spacious. Handicap accessible. Free parking. Two levels. Elevator available for 2nd floor.

Beautiful place to get married. Lobby is amazing and the catering is great. Conveniently located just 5 min passed the bridge it's right near everything.

Love Lori at the Sands. Have my made my party planning fun and stress free. Can t wait to party this weekend !!!

The Sands Is Delightful!!! We are not members ( . . . membership is required) but we were lucky enough to be invited guests. The facilities are wonderful. The beachfront is spectacular and the pool is immaculate. There are many amenities and everything was first class. It's expensive but obviously worth it.

My place of work for 13+ yrs magnificent parties, reasonable prices too!

Great memories of weddings here over the years. Was just there for first time in over 10 years and it seems they redid it since last time i was here. Cant say its elegance has evolved with the times... it's more of an elegance of yesteryear. (The house microphone died in middle of the ceremony which sorta sucked... my suggestion to management is to invest $50 in a few extra wires. For the price they charge i believe it behooves them)

We just had our wedding at the Sands in Atlantic Beach on 9/28 and I can t say enough good things about them. We first met with Bob and from the moment we met him he made this whole process so easy for us. He was fantastic and answered every question thoroughly. The staff was amazing. My bridal attendant, Shack , was there for me through the whole night. Anything we needed she was on it. Thank you! The food was amazing! All our family and friends keep talking about how delicious everything was from cocktail hour to the buratta salad to how their filet was soooo good and was actually cooked to perfection. We can t thank the sands enough!!!!

My son had his wedding there. Perfect! Couldn't have been happier.

Came for my nephews wedding the affair was gorgeous food was incredible service was of the chain great have not been to an affair since I was a child over 40 years ago at the sands. Highly recommend the Sands for your next affair

Got married here 25 years ago. It's still the same fancy, well appointed place. I don't know if they still do weddings, but looks perfectly positioned to be a hall of choice for dinners and other fancy functions. Big parking lot, convenient to entrance. Clean and spacious.

It could be anything from a classy establishment to a crazy club!
