You can't get any better serving great food, fab service at an exceptional price

We have been here quite a few times and love it. Nice ambience friendly staff and great food. Was there with my daughter today for lunch. We had the salad with chicken for my daughter and lamb kofta for me followed by mini dessert with a drink included. Great choice. Cheesecake was for me with a large latte and brownie with a large capachino for my daughter. All in all very relaxing and enjoyable with great food and all for the lunch menu so great value for money. Well done everybody.

This place was extremely smelly. The smell of fresh fish permeated the inside of the building and the dining area.

Wonderful atmosphere. Friends loved it....said, they felt very comfortable and would be back. Nice food and staff.

This was our first visit and somewhat disappointing - interior and ambience was great, staff polite enough but my meal was not what I expected - I ordered a roast pork dinner and definitely not as it said on the tin- no crackling, a dribble of apple sauce and the roast pork was in fact 3 fatty loin chops

Fantastic for & service and decent sized portions.

Great decor which raised my expectation instantly, only to be disappointed with the food that almost felt like certain chain pubs that have all ingredients semi ready to be microwaved and served. Customer service was great though.

Very good food, nice servers, a bit pricy but all in all very good (a star less because they ran out of Sunday roasts)

Stopped to have lunch here because we needed a place to eat which had free parking. That it is beautifully decorated with good food made for a very pleasant two hours!

Waited about 10 minutes to get served. And then I had to insist that so was served next as the bar server tried to ignore me.
Grudgingly let me try a beer before I ordered a pint.


Overall poor value, slow service.

Nice pub but food is very poor standard. The Crab pasta i had was made entirely with sweet chill sauce from a bottle - sickly sweet.

Love to bring the family here for an outdoor weekend lunch at the pub (weather permitting). The restaurant is also very nice

We came here for our Christmas dinner to find there had been a mix-up with the reservations, and our booking for 15 had been confused with a similar name for just 9 people. The staff pulled out all the stops and managed to produce enough chairs and tables to seat a large party on zero notice, which is impressive, and they more than made up for the inconvenience of having to wait a bit longer.



I'd come here again - but I'd definitely phone to double check the booking is correct first!

Very busy, service slow and food was okay Chicken was a bit dry, pizza undercooked. All overpriced in my opinion

A cozy place with a nice atmosphere where the whole neighborhood comes together. You can eat extensively but also just have a drink. And all the food is good quality.

Up scale pub/restaurant. Not a pub but closer to North American restaurant. Food was good and priced a little higher than pub food but good quality. Good service, friendly and attentive. Would recommend for a quite dinner with friends.

Great place to eat, hadn't been for a while so was pleasantly surprised to see it had been refurbished nice decor. Would recommend a visit great food.

I really like the Salisbury Arms, convenient location and great atmosphere before Xmas. however, even though we got a space by the fire, when we asked for the fire to be added to with logs, we were told it had to be allowed to cool down for a few hours before the bar shut for the night. Not very convivial!

This is a lovely place, great acoustics and really comfy furnishings. We went for an impromptu lunch after a memorial service. Five grown ups and four kids and they never batted an eye. Food was nice, service was lovely and the atmosphere is really chilled and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely dog friendly pub. Roast chicken was delicious and a huge portion. Roast potatoes were a little overcooked but everything else was great.

Lovely place, however the bar lady could have been more hospitable and polite.

Went for lunch and was a bit surprised that you had to order at the bar, no big deal but when you have kids with you it's not ideal to have to leave them at the table while you go and order. The food was good but I thought slightly expensive and the service a little slow. The staff were friendly and the venue is nice, not the most child friendly for seating as half the tables are bar stool height.

A brilliant little restaurant. Very lovely decor with pet beds. Lovely wine and great beer. Lovely outside seating area. Staff wonderful. Will be back!!

Really beautiful bar with a wonderful staff. Everyone is so friendly. You can choose table service or order food at the bar. The food is a bit pricey, and I had to slice my pizza myself. I also found it odd that someone would put whole hazelnuts on a pizza. Regardless, it was really yummy. Also recommend the burger and chips.

Lovely surroundings but they struggle with making a pot of tea.

Food is amazing, would recommend the fried cheese, dirty burger and the duck filled pie. Lovely lunch, prob try dinner next time. Stuff was really friendly as well

Brought my parents for some drinks one night, very nice atmosphere!

Nice enough pub, only issue was the baby change in the accessible toilet was placed by a person who has never owned a child. The head end is in the corner of the wall (fair enough) but this means to service the child (having strapped it down as per the regulations) you have to stand in the toilet.

Can't comment on food but the staff were appalling. I tried to confirm a booking for mothers day since I needed to make some changes, they didn't have the booking, the waitress was very rude on the phone about the whole affair. So I had to cancel mother's day lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place for any bookings for special occasions since you might be very disappointed.

Like everything I've had - Especially the slow cooked belly pork, rack of lamb and the fillet steak with pepper sauce & dauphinoise potatoes

Couple of visits on one day - nice food, beer and atmosphere, convenient for Pollock Halls and Royal Commonwealth Pool.

Nice decor, clean and tidy. Oh dear another mediocre eatery in a city that is supposed to be hip, happening and cosmopolitan. Makes me very sad

Lovely atmosphere and building, staff friendly and helpful. Shared platter was okay, but nothing to write home about. Mains definitely looked worth a try though!

Under the circumstances with the virus thing, they did very well. They have rules which all should follow for a pleasant evening meal and drink. Nice pub & staff.
