Service wasnt that friendly at the front desk. The bright purple carpet had a nasty stain leading up to the bright yellow door. The room smelled like mildew, the bed is hard, the head board for the bed is corrugated yellow steel. The pool was nice.

For the price, we thought the rooms would be nicer. Our first room, the air conditioner didn't work. They were accommodating in getting us another room and the air conditioner did work in the new room, but still the rooms felt a little out dated. Pool area is definitely fun, but a $35 per day resort fee on top of the exorbitant drink & food prices seems excessive. All in all, it was ok & we expected a better experience.

Second time the charm! It s almost our yearly tradition to go to the saguaro in Palm Springs! This year the rooms are apparently going through renovations which is great and way more clean and modern than last year. The room is comfortable and clean and colorful. The pool is always a bit misty, but still enjoyable. There s a lot of people from outside just sneaking in to get some sexy pictures by the pool, which is quite bizarre and annoying since we pay for the resort fees to enjoy the pool, while they sneak in, enjoy the pool and create content (for which they will get money later, not from the saguaro of course but still). Our room had a weird smell to it but was still good. Also, first day in and the room service left our room wide open for the entire day, leaving our stuff unprotected. staff was nice, restaurant is great too!

This hotel was very cute and had a fun vibe. Parking was super easy. The room was not huge but the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The sheets were not the most comfortable, but just fine. I was surprised that the jacuzzi and pool were pretty small up close - not a problem in December when I visited but in the summer I imagine it's packed. Very minimal decor including this empty pot stand? But overall was nice for a one night get away.

The front desk folks were awesome. The hotel itself left something to be desired. Don't think I would return to this hotel. The rooms could be cleaner and updated with new furniture, repainted, with a coffee pot and microwave added. Just the look of the entire hotel was not pleasing. The pictures on the website make this hotel look amazing but in reality it's not.

I came to visit a friend here a few times and he was not happy with the service. The place is all the way vintage. If you're looking for old Palm Springs, this is where it went. It kind of reminds me of when you stay at Days Inn or Motel 6, only with Technicolor. The room was not worth the price he paid, which was $30 cheaper than what I paid at the Renaissance down the street.

Mountain view is perfect for a weekend getaway. The pool view looked perfect for hanging out at the day party. Rocco s Electric was cool for breakfast, but drinks were better and El Jefe was always filled with guest from the hotel.

Really cool retro style palm springs hotel with everything you expect in a high end hotel somewhere else. Full bar, restaurant and service in a motel village feel. Great place. #quaint #cozy #weekendgetaway

Not sure this place would be called anyone's favorite, but the pool is big and they host the large Splash House parties in the summer. Pool security was pleasantly relaxed and we easily brought our own drinks to the pool. Downside was about 20 young kids in the pool until late hours. And when we stayed they had overbooked, so they "upgraded" us to what turned out to be the handicapped accessible room. It was no upgrade, and actually had a strong mildew smell from the special shower that leaked and kept the bedroom carpet wet. Maybe they were still ironing out the kinks but we won't be back.

I loved staying here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds in the rooms are heaven. It feels like you are laying on a bunch of clouds. This is a great hotel to stay at if it's just you and the hubby or if you want to bring the kiddos along with you. Will definitely be coming back here and making it an annual trip.

This hotel sucks. The rooms are loud, dirty and the beds are uncomfortable with cheap, scratchy linens. The food is bad, over rated and stupid expensive. The shuttle doesn't come back to get you, despite all instructions. The pool is ok, but get there at 8am if you want a seat. Stay somewhere else.

You can tell there was no attention to detail when they remodeled this place, and it hasn t been kept up well since. Room was large, and the beds were nice. The AC unit looked like it hadn t been cleaned in years, there was so much buildup of dust in and around it, plus it made a horrible noise while running. I ll stick to regular chain hotels next time.

I was at the hotel for a wedding. It is very nice and clean hotel with accommodating staff members. Their bar has a nice selection of alcohol and bartenders are willing to work with you in finding a drink you like. Great location for an event.

We were here for one night, nice place, Hotspot for Generation Instagram. We spend this afternoon by the pool. Were replaced twice in the only area with sun left right before sunset for a movie screen, annoying not very relaxing experience, could have placed that screen at the other end where the shadow was or placed that screen up later. Got coupons for Margaritas, do not drink alcohol, cocktail without alcohol was not possible, not perfect! But sorry to say then a homeless guy just went into the pool area. Do not get me wrong (I am sorry for him and the States definitely have a huge problem on that everywhere!), but if I spend a lot of money being a hotel guest that is a huge no go! Staff was running around for 15 min at least, guests also did not say something. That is a hygenic and safety issue! I told the bar guy, managers came. After telling her I got again two coupons for margaritas (do not drink alcohol though!). After I turned around they both high fived (sorry not a big deal, but not in front of the customer!) After all that is such a big no go that a homeless guy is entering the property and is jumping right into the pool! At least a free non alcoholic drink, free breakfast or anything like that could have been a good solution for letting staff know!!! We were upset after all! Sorry to say, either security or keypads for the pool area should be a solution for future guests.

Rooms are colourful but getting tired and need some maintenance. Biggest problem here is the loud music that is playing from 11you will not get any rest in your room! Worse at the weekend when they have pool parties with a DJ and even louder music, even if there is no one in the pool.

You are all overrating this hotel. I ve stayed at holiday inns better than this. It smelled horribly. The rooms were motel rooms. The pool water was disgusting. I swear It felt like swamp water. Trash everywhere by pool. And food was ok def not worth 16 dollars for a ceviche torta. The customer service was lazy and the receptionist literally saw me trying to check in and for 5 min ignored us. Absolutely never ever coming back here and will make sure to write the same review everywhere i can. Oh and not to mention when I told reception our rooms stunned she said are you sure? Lol and didn t even offer to accommodate us. Never again!!!!

We recently stayed here for my 8 year olds birthday. The staff completely catered to us from the moment we stepped in the door until the moment we walked out. We have stayed at alot of hotels but this one was definately our favorite. My eight and ten year old were so excited to stay in a PINK room! The pool was beautiful and so was the view from our balcony. My girls can't wait to come back and my husband and I can't either. This is our new favorite paradise. Thank you Saguaro for making our trip amazing!

It's a cute hotel on the outside however the room (my room) was very plain. Don't expect much. The room was freezing even after i put the thermostat on 80. The food on their menu is crazy expensive and had nothing interesting. That would me my last resort place to stay.

On our tour of the west of the USA we were guest at this hotel. On our arrival, we were welcomed in a friendly manner by the staff. The room was very clean, spacious and absolutely met our ideas. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to use the great pool. The hotel was within walking distance of the surrounding restaurants and shopping facilities. Everything's perfect, we'll be happy to come again.

Located in downtown Palm Springs, this is our favorite Palm Springs resort. Great drinks by the pool, good price, great aesthetics. Not a 4 star hotel, but makes up for the star appeal in the looks and feel.

Hip hotel across from the Ace. Always somewhat of a happening bar and pool. Can be good band and dj shows. Beer can be slightly pricey. Food is ok...no real comment on food just did the job.

Bright, colourful stay. Great pool and common area with artificial turf. Staff is fantastic. I understand it can get noisy but October stay was perfect. Location needs a car, and it's starting to look a little faded (renos were going on during our stay), but staff made up for it.

Not bad. We checked in to a dirty room and were offered to move. We had too much luggage and just told them to have it turned down while we were away and came back hours later to a still dirty room. That is when we moved.
Awesome pool and staff. Everyone was super friendly including the guests. The specials by the pool were awesome. $3 each for a prb and wine.

The only good thing about this hotel is it's "instagram-appeal". The rooms are straight out of the 1970s and smell like cigarette smoke and musty air. The gym has 5 machines, only 1 treadmill. You can hear every movement the guest above you make. I would not recommend staying here.

It was a super nice place with a seventies or fifties vibe and coloring. Each room has its own color from neon pink to neon blue with the inside to match all the exterior. There is a nice hammock area that was super comfortable and music to match that too. I went to a fraternity event and we all had a complete blast the employees were very helpful also including a girl there named Melissa I give her the highest rating for being super attentive and nice at like the late hours of the night when we were in the lobby!

My husband and I stayed at the Saguaro for a conference. We chose the Saguaro because there was supposed to be a free shuttle service to and from the conference. We didn't end up using the shuttle because they weren't reliable and we didn't feel like waiting around. That was strike one. The hotel room itself was decent enough (although the color scheme is very loud). But the main reason for the low stars is that 10 days or so after checkout, I noticed a small charge of $5.44 on my credit card. There was no email receipt or call notifying us of the charge and no information on what the charge was for. We sent an email asking for information but no response was received so we called a few days later and the guy at the front desk was nice but not very helpful. He said it seems to be a charge for a water bottle that we supposedly consumed but we didn't (we went to Ralph's and bought 2 gallons of water and did not touch their water). He said he couldn't help, but to call the next morning between 7a-8a and talk to their scheduling person. We called after 7a and the call kept getting cut off. We ended up leaving a voice message for their accounting department, but received no call back. We then sent one last email noting of all the failed attempts to get this small charge cleared, but still, no response. Due to their negligence and disregard for their customer's satisfaction, I'm writing this negative review and wanted to warn others before choosing to stay at the Saguaro. And for those who recently stayed at the Saguaro, I ask that you check your credit card statement and make sure everything looks right.
