This place does my favourite sunday roast in London. It's what a gastro pub should be. Great food, good prices, booze and football of you want. Love it.

Great south east London boozer. They have a good range of beer and serve really good pub food for a decent price. I have never had a bad night in here, the atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. I also took my gf on our first date here two and half years ago!

Nicely busy on a Saturday night. Great music. Great selection of beer. To recommend!

Good local pub with good selection of drinks and food.

Only been here for Sunday roast but that's why we came back. Good portions, nice Yorkshire puddings and vegetables a little crunchy how I like them rather than over done. Meat is lovely and extra gravy if you ask. Will definitely be back again.

Great food, quite expensive but large range of beers, good service, homely atmosphere.

A really solid pub with a great range of beers. Decor is really nice, quite kitsch. They also have a very good live jazz night once a week on sundays, plus a pub quiz on Mondays. They also show the football on one tv in the main area.

Everything about this pub is fantastic, they have a great menu and with vegetarian and vegan options. The vibe is great, super cosy and the jazz on sundays is so much fun. Would definitely recommend.

Well, probably one of a thousand London pubs, where it is noisy, "not very sterile", a lot of beer and socializing. In short, there is everything that goes to Pub.

Good food, varied beers, lagers wine and ales, different ambience/vibe most nights and quite a scene during the warm evenings. A good local to have.

A safe haven , with great classic music, vibrant scene. A favourite place in London. + Great staff

Down to earth, lots of outdoor seating, nothing fancy, good atmosphere, a broad mix of customers, sensible prices, great staff. 4 of us had a meal....arguably one of the best meals I've had in ages. The food was simply delicious....Go there and try it, you won't be disappointed !

Great Sunday lunch. Tasty food. Good wine & beer. Nice sounds playing at a sensible level. Warm buzzing atmosphere. Ideal way to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. We will be back.

Great pub, takes what is good about classic pubs and mixes it well with newer drinking establishments. Cool but not pretentious. Good beer selection but not snobbish about it.

Amazing food and people very laid back hip bar and food gets full on a weekend

Nice cozy place with a good vibe. We haven't tried the food but we did try the freshly made sausage rolls and they were fantastic with the beer. The worst is that the rolls are gone in no time :)

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It had a beer, meat and cheese festival on and had a good selection of craft beers and some delicious barbecued sausages. Nicely decorated for the occasion as they do on lots of special days.

New cross is getting better with choice of pubs now. But Royal Albert still remains supreme. Great choice of beers and one of the tastiest Sunday Roast in South East London. And they have the footy too.

Where New Cross becomes Deptford. A fab little pub with lots of character, great beer and ale selection, food is top quality. Super dog friendly and (was) a great spot for live music on a Sunday Night.

Great hipster boozer. Good cask ale selection, music and intimate atmosphere. Antic chain.

Great pub. Interesting interior, good selection of drinks (of all varieties) and an open kitchen which I like.
Staff were the best I have seen lately; enigmatic Charley; Amy and Charlotte who dress so uniquely, Sasha who is so polite and helpful and 4/5 more whose names I didn't get.
All completely professional, helpful and polite.

I'll be back.

The perfect pub. Great beer selection, great food, great Muzak.

Fairly good local pub. Beer prices are decent and there are enough seats. I won't give 5 stars because I went there to watch a football game and TV kept on failing

Excellent food and a really welcoming feel to the establishment I would definetly advise eating here and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Just lovely bar staff. I left my sunglasses behind and thankfully they were there the next day. Thank you Zoe and also to the guys who were working last night - so happy you looked after them for me.
