Really cosy pub, nice little restaurant at the back, they do a quiz night every Monday which is a lot of fun ad the Quiz master is very entertaining, my team and I are getting better every week,.

it gets packed out in good weather as it has a seating area outside, it is a very old traditional pub, one of my favourites so far

Great pub. Lovely atmos. Top beers that change each week. Helpful and happy to be there staff. Nice mix of locals, students and passers by. Sundays is ideal if you like a bit of live music. You'll never be disappointed when you visit the Albert.

Decent Sunday lunch and great selection of beers. Book ahead or get there early if you want a table though, it looked like every hipster in New Cross was there medicating their hangover.

So we paid it a visit on Sunday. First impressions were good, staff were friendly and the pub has a nice laid back atmosphere. It was busy as well which is always a good sign, especially on a cold January day. Will defently be back.

Atmosphere is good. It was once famous for its good cooking quality, and I liked it so much. I still like it but I can not cook it. The chef seems to have changed. Now the food is just average taste. It was the best ever when I first went here three years ago. Sorry for this one thing.

The Royal Albert is a beautiful pub in between New Cross and Deptford. Down the back they have an open kitchen where you can watch the chef cook up a storm. Up the front you will find some quiet corners where you can sit and play a board games or (occasionally) listen to a live jazz session whilst sipping your artisan beer of choice. Veggies beware the food is not particularly designed for you but meat eaters will love the gastropub menu available. #DavidBowieIs

Great ale selection, and a good choice of beers. Get down for their Sunday roast, it tastes so good, I was stuffed! Try the fried plantains. Very friendly and helpful staff. And expect a fast turnover from order to plate. A really good feed, I recommend!

Good local pub. Good food. Menu's you want to taste. Live music. Mixed crowd, but lots of well heeled students and the new upper crusts to the area with a thick sprinkling of original locals.

The great old pub in Deptford is really cool. It has brilliant djs on Fridays and Saturdays providing great 80's music and a lot more besides. The food is excellent and bar staff friendly and funky. It has beer garden out the front.
