They don't have restrooms in the lobby. The front desk directed us to use the restroom on the second floor, but when we got up there, we found that it was closed for cleaning. In a lesser hotel, this might have been acceptable, but at the Renaissance, this type of information should have been relayed to us at the front desk. (Aren't cleanings part of a routine schedule?) From the second floor, we ventured up to the third and found a restroom halfway down a long hall. There were no signs posted, so the discovery of the restroom was really just guesswork. It took us twenty minutes total to find a working toilet in this hotel. Please save yourself the agony and go to the Fairmont down the street.

I'm a very frequent (100+ night per year) Marriott customer and came here for a tour as a potential wedding reception venue. It's beautiful, and in an awesome location. I'm sure the rooms are great - this is an excellent representative of the Renaissance brand.

First time ever being at the Renaissance Hotel and it was awesome. All the rooms I went in were super nice, the staff was super friendly and it had by far the nicest and cleanest restrooms of any hotel I've ever seen.

Great location and service. Elevators were working intermittently while we were there (occasional 10 min waits) and the tap in the shower was a little off. But honestly, nothing that would make me not go back.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly but hardly needed. The beds were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for anyone. The only downfall was that there was a wedding party on our floor and they were loud in the halls at night.

My stay at the Renaissance lasted two night , Thursday night check-in and departed early Saturday morning. I have been a quest of the Renaissance maybe four time over a ten year span. The valet parking service remains very good, the room was clean and comfortable along with free Wi-Fi, HBO, refrigerator and coffee or tea.
The lobby is still a comfortable area with many sitting arrangements. Braddock's restaurant offered exception service but the short rib perogies were disappointing. The lobby had an exceptional wine bar at one time and I was surprised to see that a plywood wall was in its place with two HDTV's. The plywood clashed with the soaring dome and marble craftsmanship. The only other negative note was finding the remote in my room
