They don't have restrooms in the lobby. The front desk directed us to use the restroom on the second floor, but when we got up there, we found that it was closed for cleaning. In a lesser hotel, this might have been acceptable, but at the Renaissance, this type of information should have been relayed to us at the front desk. (Aren't cleanings part of a routine schedule?) From the second floor, we ventured up to the third and found a restroom halfway down a long hall. There were no signs posted, so the discovery of the restroom was really just guesswork. It took us twenty minutes total to find a working toilet in this hotel. Please save yourself the agony and go to the Fairmont down the street.
