The only restriction is covid 19. The experience is well organised with interests for the children. The staff are friendly and christmas spirited. Our grandson loved every minute of it. Father Christmas was excellent, sits on a sleigh with distancing without the child realising it. Worth the experience.

Great value for money and although only small lots of things to do. Staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My granddaughter would happily have stayed there all day flitting between feeding the reindeer and playing with the ride on toys. Real hands on experience going in with the lambs and opportunity to hold the ducklings.

Great experience for young children and adults. I wouldn't say it's the most sophisticated in the world but there again it is a farm. Expensive at Christmas but they don't fleece you while you're there (no pun intended!). Lots to see and do

Our kid decided to face plant into the floor and busted his nose. Staff were so friendly and helpful to us getting the little guy cleaned up and happy again. He was running round with a big smile on his face in no time. Thanks again.

Adore this place. So much for young children to do. Would recommend for up to about 8 years old. Activities are in a large barn, and include large ball pit, bouncy castle and sand pit with climbing frame. In addition there are a few farm animals and reindeer. These are separated from the play area, and keeper was there to talk to. Also have other small creatures, including birds, tortoise and meerkats. Barn can be a bit chilly even on warmer days.

The Reindeer Centre opens for the Christmas Season...

The Reindeer Centre opens for the Christmas Season this weekend, and is already buzzing with the Christmas Spirit. This year, there are more fantastic indoor games for children of all ages and abilities, and refreshments available all day. Highlight of any visit is to see the beautiful Reindeer who are lovingly looked after and cared for. Of course a visit to see fantastic Father Christmas is all part of the magical experience. Excellent value and every child gets a valuable present from Santa.

Absolutely fantastic. I took my 3 year old and he had a ball! Not cheap but definitely worth it and present from Father Christmas was great. Lots to keep the children and adults entertained and the complimentary mince pie went down well. Lots of animals to see. The biggest thing that stood out for me though was the staff! They were all so friendly and helpful. Definitely in the Christmas spirit. Certainly worth the trip!

Great place to take the kids especially for xmas. See the reindeer and other animals. Also see Santa and there's a few things for kids to do in the barn.
Make sure you have boots or wellies on and a warm coat.

A unique experience slightly overpriced for the adult ticket as in all theamed centers aimed at the children it's the adults that have to pay the elevated price to see their young ones enjoy themselves which is fine if you have kids but as adults that visit to see the reindeer it's overpriced.

I'd like to start by addressing the negative comments below. As you drive in you can see reindeer and other animals in the field grazing, there are also animals inside in pens, these pens have clear signs that state these pens are for viewing purposes only, the animals are not kept in them all of the time. For years I have driven past and you can see ALL the reindeer in the fields all year round.
The animals seem happy, and love the attention from people! the one unfortunate incident where one temporary staff member harmed an animal does not mean that all staff members treat the animals cruelly. If the animals were not treated well they would not be so willing to interact with people, hang their heads over the gates to be stroked or let you touch them at all. I heard one idiot say that they reindeers who were shedding their antlers were ill - If you're not a vet or don't know anything about animals maybe you should ask before assuming.

Today we visited for the first time, we have previously been to two other Santas (Bybrook Barn and Dobbies) with different family members/ friends as it's my childs first Christmas. The Santa here was the best! (and the best toy) we were not rushed in, shoved a present, told to smile and pushed out like the others. Santa was brilliant with my child even when he started to get upset. All of the staff were dressed as elves and cheerful and friendly.
So lovely to see (and stroke) the animals, all of us loved it.
A wonderful day out for all! Definitely recommend! We will be coming again next year!

What a really lovely, special place for adults & children alike. It's amazing to be able to get so close to the animals,we fed the reindeer, goats, donkeys, llamas,so many different animals & all so well looked after.we held baby tortoises,a milepede & the staff are very friendly & helpful. They will talk to you & answer questions. The Halloween display is fantastic & theres just so many things to do. It's all under cover so no problem with the weather. Very reasonably priced cafe, with every hot drink you get to keep your mug. There are good clean toilet facilities & a nice gift shop. Lots of items for sale around the facility & some of the animals are also for sale. The staff participated in a sing along & it was a great fun. In all every lovely day out at a reasonable price. Highly recommend a visit. We enjoyed it so much we are going back for the Christmas set up.

Attempted to visit today after seeing many friends online visiting and enjoying it! It was an utter shambles! It was incredibly busy and the staff floundered they were having cars drive through the farm to park them leaning my son close to getting run over! There were staff standing around smoking near kids. After 20 minutes queuing to pay we were told it was over two hours to see Santa alone! We walked out with a heartbroken 3 year old but what child can wait over two hours to see Santa? And there were no faculties to feed my baby! I'd never dare return. Thankfully we found a brilliant Santa train alternative near by. I say avoid like the plague on busy days.

Just returned from taking our two young children to see Father Christmas. First time we've ever been to The Reindeer Centre and we were so so impressed. The whole Father Christmas experience was perfect. Definitely the real FC! So much to see - plenty of Christmas magic; our children were wide eyed! Friendly, welcoming staff, wonderful array of animals, things for the children to do and all Covid secure. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning. We will definitely be back

I wouldn't recommend it! Far to busy in every area. One ride for the kids and you have to pay in addition to the entrance fee. Reindeers and all other animals are kept in small spaces; they really don't look happy. We waited over an hour to see Father Christmas... not fun with 3 under 5! The kids did run around and play but we could have done that anywhere!

Great place and my son had a fab time. Just a shame too many parents leave their children to their own devices. Spoils it for the other kids. I had to tell kids off today in the ball bit. Being too aggressive and full on and not thinking about others

Excellent day out, with 3 year old grandson and 9 month old grandson. Very well done to all the staff, very magical for children. Father Christmas was excellent, presents were perfect for their ages. Loved the fact you buy a hot drink and keep reindeer mugs! Will be back in the summer. Thank you again to all the brilliant staff, well done.

We had planned to come to the Reindeer centre afte...

We had planned to come to the Reindeer centre after visiting the shopping village place in Ashford - got there about 1ish and it was all a bit quiet. After paying we got escorted straight into see Santa, they obviously normally prepare for quiet a queue so it was nice not to wait (I suppose it pays off going in november and on a weekday!) Young 'un had a chat with an elf (I say 'chat' in all honesty it was more me and the missus talking to her...!) Little man was given a santa hat and we went in to see the big man himself. Poor old santa, he did try to get small person talking albeit with little success, was impressed that they picked up on some of the convo with the elf (ie. Fav Paw patrol Character etc.) Little man was more keen on opening his present and Santa was happy for him to open it with him (it was nice not to just be rushed through!!) We also managed to get a photo in with the baby...

After seeing Santa we went through to the grotto which then led into the cafe area (and opportunity to buy photo if you asked for one - nice that they didnt pressure us in to this or expect a photo. What do people actually do with these photos?!)

Decided to have a burger and a hot choc at the cafe, both of which was nice and fairly priced, even got told we could keep the cup as a souvanier ;-)

In the main barn we got to see the animals. Was a bit worried about this as the wife had been googling just before we got there - happy to report all looked good. The staff were very nice and helpful (and seemed like they enjoyed being there - which is better than a lot of places!) The reindeer were lovely and very friendly as was the other animals. Young 'un enjoyed playing on the trikes and in the artificial snow - but most of all he loved the sleigh ride whilst he rung a bell (all credit to the chap who was pushing the sleigh about - had our whole family in there at one point!!)

Great cheap day out for family's. Loads to do and see.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great for kids. Loads more animals than just rein deer. Cafe area to get lunch and good picnic area.
Restraunt is ok but produce used is cheap which is a shame. But is reflective in the price as it is not the usual high price expected when going to these types of places.
Definatly recommended. Will go again soon

Really lovely few hour. Lots of toys to play with. Loved the snow room with shredded white paper. Beautiful reindeers and reptiles to see. Good value for money. Lost a star due to queue for santa was so long. However I believe it was due to sickness. So beyond control really. Would definately recommend. Once in, Santa was lovely and every where was beautifully decorated. Good value for money.
