I'd like to start by addressing the negative comments below. As you drive in you can see reindeer and other animals in the field grazing, there are also animals inside in pens, these pens have clear signs that state these pens are for viewing purposes only, the animals are not kept in them all of the time. For years I have driven past and you can see ALL the reindeer in the fields all year round.
The animals seem happy, and love the attention from people! the one unfortunate incident where one temporary staff member harmed an animal does not mean that all staff members treat the animals cruelly. If the animals were not treated well they would not be so willing to interact with people, hang their heads over the gates to be stroked or let you touch them at all. I heard one idiot say that they reindeers who were shedding their antlers were ill - If you're not a vet or don't know anything about animals maybe you should ask before assuming.

Today we visited for the first time, we have previously been to two other Santas (Bybrook Barn and Dobbies) with different family members/ friends as it's my childs first Christmas. The Santa here was the best! (and the best toy) we were not rushed in, shoved a present, told to smile and pushed out like the others. Santa was brilliant with my child even when he started to get upset. All of the staff were dressed as elves and cheerful and friendly.
So lovely to see (and stroke) the animals, all of us loved it.
A wonderful day out for all! Definitely recommend! We will be coming again next year!
