A real sleeper in the Food category. This local neighborhood restaurant owned by local family rich in Elizabeth history has put together a real gem. I grew up in Elizabeth Township, only less than two miles from The Red Lion - and after almost 30 years visited Rockwell's Red Lion. Incredible menu, extremely well prepared foods, many choices, excellent service and quality food right down to the coffee. A must try!!!!!! Be sure to call for reservations.

Went for New Year's Eve dinner. Very dissatisfied. Worst Alfredo sauce I've ever had. My wife's pasta side tasted and looked like it came out of a can. Service was poor. Empty drinks majority of dinner. I will never return.

I went on a Friday evening. The soups and sauces were very good - things that would be made in the morning and reheated at night. Everything else was slightly overcooked and very under salted. Judging by what was good and what wasn't, I think that they probably have a good chef who works during the day and bad cooks who work at night. And while I can't speak for all of the desserts, the cake was really bad. If you're going to risk it, maybe hold out for one of their event dinners when the chef is more likely to be in the kitchen.

Over priced. How dare they charge even charge more then 15$ a meal. They can't make curry so never order it. My rice was hard and they gave me what looked like vomit with 4 shrimp in it 32$ use to love the pepper jack crab soup now but the last time we got it it was so floury and grainy and like no crab to be found. And the delicious bread that I usually love and pay for extra of was dry and old. One time I got a 17$ dollar Cesar salad to go. As in I wasn't eating it yet and they tossed the dressing in by the time I went to eat an hour later it was mush I told the manager lady owner and she talked to me like I was the stupid and said I had to request it on the side um no hi I'm earth have we met ye. dear redlion, let me know when you want me to come down and show your cooks how to make food properly... especially curry and sticky rice. It's not that hard , over half of the world eats it. Also stop being so cheap! If someone gives 32$ they better get at least 12 shrimp especially in an entree smh. Change is good

I was alone for Thanksgiving and ordered the Thanksgiving meal. It was the most delicious turkey dinner, complete with all of the trimmings! I ate it via FaceTime with my family and they were jealous. Every time I order from this restaurant it's always fantastic. And the pepper jack crab soup...I get a quart at least once a month. Can't live without it.

Food was good, the waitress was efficient and friendly. And we could hear the other couples at the table speaking in a normal voice. Street parking can be a challenge especially when it snows.

It's a little pricey but the menu is huge and the food is always fantastic.. and high quality. They have daily specials that are always unique and never disappoint. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is classic. I especially love this place in fall and winter when comfort food is a must.
