Visited the place since the renovation probably about five times. Service is good. Restaurant looks amazing after the renovation. Food quality is marginal, presentation is generally poor. Actually saw a waitress bringing food to the table with food hanging off the plate. We got cottage cheese served on a small dish instead of in a bowl, twice.

It's a nice place, recently remodeled as of 2018. Food is hit or miss. I won't order a burger from them. It seems like a frozen patty. Other things, such as breakfast meals are good.

Update as of 6/2019. This place is going down hill. I was at this diner twice this year and both times the beer on tap was sour. I had other people in my party taste to confirm it. We all had dessert and it was mediocre at best. I won't be going back anytime soon!

I'd give it a 3.5 ...good food nice service but was very unprepared for Sunday footballs TV's not being on the right channel taking 15 minutes to set up after they all have started already. one bartender for a full bar. A fun place overall though.

I wasn't too impressed by the staff of this place. I solo dined here today and ordered moussaka. I felt uncomfortable since I dined solo. The moussaka was not great, but better than Empire Diner. I am 21 and I look 27 and I asked for a bar seat (rather than a counter seat) and the waiter (who had a sly look on his face) didn't even offer me an alcohol menu. I had to ask for the menu and then he carded me when I asked rather than even asking me when I first sat down (It's common sense to do that when someone sits at a bar and clearly looks under 40). He was suspicious of me and made me feel uncomfortable to even order an alcoholic beverage. I couldn't wait to leave this place. I won't return here unless I am not dining solo. Brookside is a better diner.

Server was good, nice. Food mediocre. Coffee mugs are plastic, not ceramic. Coffee like colored water All that I could deal with... until I saw the HAIR in my eggs! I told the server. I thought she would tell the manage . Nope. I didn't have the energy to tell the manager after I noticed on my way out not all the cooks have hair net .

I ve been coming to the Randolph Diner since I was but a wee lassie haha! I ve seen it evolve throughout the decades from a tiny vintage style diner to the double decker monumental town hub it is today. While I sometimes miss the old fashioned coziness of how things used to be, I m so happy for Bobby and his family and team of invaluable support. Karen is amazing and it s always nice to see Bobby on Sundays, when I usually go for brunch. I usually eat downstairs but I ve been to the upper level and it s neat- there s another bar and more tables up there, and that is also where the private parties and special events are held. They have some of the best burgers and fries around, and the fish and chips here is also amazing. Their prices have gone up a bit, but the quality of the food has not been comprised. The Huevos Rancheros is so good but if I were to make one request it would be to please bring back the original sized entree, as the new version is significantly smaller. Also, sometimes the hot items are a bit cooled by the time they re brought out- just some friendly feedback :) One of my favorite brunch menu items is the classic Eggs Benedict! They serve it with a hearty portion of top-crisped shredded hash browns. Some of the negative reviews mention the bathroom- I understand this concern. Some scrub a dub dubbing wouldn t hurt. I m trying to assess the overall experience this venue offers and I believe the team here really does do a great job overall. This review is food-focused, as is the case with most of my reviews here. I know for the most part, the veteran employees bust their butts and it s always nice to see Diego at night if I go for dinner, as well as the regular afternoon team on Sundays. It s very nice that this restaurant has an elevator for those who are unable to take the stairs. Also, the diner is so community-minded and I love the charitable town spirit. Been enjoying myself here since I was in elementary school and Lord Willing I ll have many more years to enjoy great meals here with family and friends.

The best diner I have ever been to!!! And it keeps getting better! It use to be a small basic diner with amazing food. Now they have expanded to have a dining area, bar, counter, and upstairs party hall. The breakfast food is always a good bet. They also have good Greek food. And the sweets! So rich and thick. The cocktails are very unique. The alcoholic milkshakes are a good end (or beginning) to any meal. And to top it all off the service is always great. They deal with crowds very well and the food comes out quickly.

Food was horrible. No flavor and they don't even know how to melt cheese properly. Service was terrible and so slow. Not sure why this place can get so busy with such horrible food and service. We will not be going back.

Came here for a special event (comedy show) upstairs. I was very impressed by the size of this place... The staff were always on the move and happy to help. Friendly as well. I had a burger and fries, really good. House red wine was nice too. I hope to return and eat in the regular part of the diner.

I was impressed by the overhaul of the physical space. High ceilings and not too crazily decorated.
Prices were appropriate and my food was very good.
Wait staff were very attentive and helpful.
I would highly recommend and will attempt to return when I can.

This diner was completely renovated a year or so ago. Menu is extensive but is more expensive than other diners in the area. Has a bar downstairs. Also, they now have a second floor that can handle events. We were there on a recent Friday for a comedy show on second floor. We went for dinner before the show and it was packed. Not very busy at the comedy show though that had an excellent comic in Chris Monty.

Food was excellent! I had an omelette.did not wait long for it either and it was a Saturday! It would have gotten 5 stars if my water glass was properly cleaned so they may be rushing the dishes in the back but they quickly replaced it for me. I will be going back to try lunch/dinner items. You will also like the wait staff..very friendly;-)

Won't eat here again. So many good reviews I was looking forward to it. We started out with calamari...very chewy and not flavorful. Had a mango mojito which was very sweet, not much rum. Had a gyro as the main meal. Nothing to write home about.

It's a beautiful diner, with a large selection on the menu, but my food was a little disappointing. I had an open faced roast beef sandwich where the top layer of roast beef was like dried out leather, and the rest was over done. Almost like it was thrown in a microwave before being served. If you can't serve it fresh, then don't serve it.

Wife and I decided to finally try it after their renovations and us moving close to it. Was sat by large groups and noisy kids on a Sunday evening, my wife went to the restroom, came back, we asked for another minute as she just sat down, 13 minutes passed, no one bothered to come back to our table. We got up and left, no one even asked us, even had a few waiters look at us, no one said goodbye or anything. Worst diner experience I've had in a long time.

Ordered for a pickup. Easy over the phone. Took them 10 minutes to get the order no issue with this . Got home and I wish I took a picture, but this meal was terrible. Huevos Rancheros looked disgusting. The sour cream was in a packet, the salsa was way too spicy, and the guacamole looks like it came from a shop rite package and scooped into the little plastic containers. The cheese was practically cold and the refried beans and home fries were bland. I do not understand how you can get this wrong. Do you not have pride in your food. Will not be coming back here. I was better off going to McDonald s at least there I don t have expectations of a meal.
