Arena is kept in fairly good condition. The locker room and bathrooms can be updated and cleaned, but is expected for a hockey arena. Staff are friendly and the store offers plenty of equipment, etc. There is plenty of parking available.

$15 for open skate with rental for very choppy cut up ice with snow. Classes before the open skate chopped it up and they did not Zamboni between the sessions. Not a great experience for newbies

UNPROFESSIONAL , BAD COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN STAFFS ,COACHES ,AND MANAGEMENTS ,THERE IS NO ACCURATE DECISIONS ,AND THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY ,NO APPRECIATIONS OF TALENTS ,AND IF YOUR NAME NOT JOHN ,BOB,OR SMITH ,YOU WILL BE IGNORED IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN,THE BOTTOM LINE ,THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO SEND YOUR KIDS TO AWFUL TO SAY THE LEAST .

Cold at the rink (maybe second coldest to Ice House) but viewing from the upstairs isn't so bad. Aspen and Vail, a little on the more expensive side but good facilities and farther from the city make it less busy when hockey isn't in season. Yoga and barre classes upstairs many times and a small food counter plus kitchen with reasonably priced snacks. A small shop, too, for basic figure skating and a lot of hockey supplies.

I'm not sure management does the best job here. I come here every Tuesday with my dad to skate and it seems they're terrible at scheduling ice slots. The pro shop has awful hours and isn't even open until closing which is tough for older leagues that play later. I also came for an open skate with my girlfriend and it's $14 per person for an open skate which is stupid expensive...

We love Aspen Ice! Excellent figure skating instruction, and very supportive environment. My daughter has made such progress in her skating over just a few months and we owe it all to Aspen Ice and her skating coach Katie H. Great facilities for parents as I can watch her skate from the warm observation area upstairs, and I don't have to be cold by the ice. Their summer camp and holiday camps give excellent instruction. I can't say enough good things about Aspen Ice. I feel it's my home away from home as we are there so often!

I really want to give recognition to a phenomenal coach who works at Aspen Ice. It has been a pleasure working with Silvia D'Avola. I am learning to be a coach myself and she has gone above and beyond to help train and mentor me. She is amazing at what she does and her passion for her career and students is truly exceptional. I love working with her and I'm learning more than I ever thought I would. She's always energetic and positive and her students notice this energy. I really am learning from the best. She's given me such a great opportunity! She is one of the reasons that I love Aspen Ice!

Lots of open skate hours on the weekends although 9 dollars a person seems a little high to me. 2 sheets of ice so they can accommodate a lot of people. The building is relatively clean and pro shop has a good selection of products

Love Aspen Ice. Great instructors. In 10 months time my 5 year old son went from barely being able to stand on ice skates to being on his first cross ice team. The snow plow Sam lessons and Learn to Play classes are wonderful.

Instructors and staff have never been anything short of amazing. Snackbar is cash only($3 surcharge ATM on site) and reasonably priced. Kids love coming here! Pro shop is run by Middlebury who have a large shop across the street.

My son started with learn to skate at aspen and now is moving up to hockey classes. He has enjoyed his coaches and lessons. The reason for 4 stars is there isn t much open skate time available to practice around lessons.

We've had 2 parties here & have been to free skate a few times. The parties aren't run very well: one occasion it was very frustrating to have a noon party & have the "Leader" show up to start her set-up at noon. The second time we had to wait for the scheduled Hockey game to end because it was running into our party time on the ice because of overtime. The business clearly didn't care that it went over & we were reasonably frustrated as two of our guests had to leave 15 minutes early meaning they missed most of the fun after we started over 20 minutes late. The rink itself is nice but if you are unfortunate enough to have the younger hockey team skaters hang around they WILL terrorize the rink by skating dangerously close & fast to other guests which is not good for new skaters. The staff lets them get away with it. It was clear to us every visit who their owners priories are.

The place could be more exciting, but it's stock in the 19th century.change the: Game room: monitors that plays different games, with art on the walls. Change the tables' sitting to more comfortable, and 21th century sitting. The place is fun. But after a while...well, time to go. Owners...time to bring 21th century! And receive the rewards. Probably build a resort, there's weekend, holidays, vacations, or just a get away for the day. Start planning...make smiles.

Love Aspen Ice! My son just did a hockey camp there for a week and was so sad it was over.. We have been going there since April and now our family even does the open skate times on the weekends!
